Breakfast was great. Evening meal was excellent. Waiting staff were really nice and friendly.

Room was very cold - but in all fairness it was -7 outside.

The rooms are really spacious and nice, Also nice to have a couch.. The food is really good. The people working there are also friendly.

I would prefer an extra lock on the door of the roomwhich can not be opened from the outside.

Owner was very hospitable & helpful, working really hard at all jobs in the inn except the cooking. The full English breakfast was very good. The room was nice with a good hot shower. The location was excellent for our purposes.

The room was nice enough however we found the mattress, which seemed to be a very bouncy spring type, quite uncomfortable for us who are used to a firmer one.

Very friendly family run pub with rooms. Plenty of parking. Excellent location to visit Waddesdon manor.

Decor in rooms a little tired. limited menu for evening meal but the food on offer was very well cooked and good value.

- the room window did not close. There was no receptionist - we had to sleep with the window partially shut and since the hotel is near a main road, it was really noisy and we couldn’t sleep at all. - no one informed us that breakfast finishes at 9 am - in the end, we cut short our stay and left a night early

Beautifully furnished and decorated room. The food at both breakfast and dinner was superb.

I was surprised that breakfast was only hot food and toast. It is very unusual not to have cereal, and fruit and yoghurt would have made it exceptional
