Convenient location close to the thermen and the city center. Staff is friendly, late check-in is convenient. The breakfast is complete and we were able to leave our bags at the reception so we could enjoy the city the last day without dragging our bags everywhere.

The breakfast room is a little cramped.

Excellent location (15 mins from Downtown, 5 mins from Carolus Thermen), clean room, ability to park your car and nice breakfast made our stay very comfortable! Special thanks to the hotel staff! All questions resolved fast and flexibly. We will definitely be promoting this hotel to our friends!

The style is a bit retrò

Quite a nice place really...breakfast suits those with a continental inclination but, as usual, falls a bit short if you are into cereals. Nice staff and good communications via WhatsApp for late arrivals. Do tell them in good time that you are going to be late...reception may be shut bur rhey have very good workarounds. Very easy to get to as well.

The only thing I could moan about was shower water temperature stability...as usual...not that good...keeps you on your toes.

Staff were very proactive in making sure our arrival went smoothly, even though we were later than expected and outside of reception hours. Breakfast had a bit more variety than the usual German fare. Easy walk to the centre of town.

It was an exceptionally warm part of summer, and unfortunately our room was therefore unpleasantly hot during the night, even with the additional fans and ventilator supplied. Bedding materials exacerbated the situation. I don’t imagine this would be an issue at most other times of year.

We travel quite a lot, both for pleasure and for work, and Unfortunately this is one of the worst experiences we had so far. The room was insanely hot when we arrived, there is no air conditioner in the room but a small, mobile “klimagerat” that should allegedly refresh the room. In reality, it is incredibly noisy and completely useless. We woke up in the middle of the night completely wet, with the machine “slurping the water” and felt obliged to open the windows (thing we avoided at the beginning considering how noisy the street was). But worst than this, breakfast was absolutely a disaster. There was almost nothing left when we arrived ( let’s say that the starting point looked also very scarce and modest) and, cheery on top of the cake, the milk was spoiled. In a word, way under our expectation, clearly not a 3*. It is just a perfect representation of a place managed by people who really don’t like their job. A pity.

Excellent staff, nicely furbished, cleanly kept, breakfast, parking on location, 5-10 mins on foot to Carolus Thermen.

The location right off a super busy road means that there's always loud traffic noise audible even on the third floor, which would have been ok with windows closed but in the building there's no AC, so we had to keep them open overnight. Another small remark is that the bed was much too soft for us.
