Schönes Ambiente und tolle Lage. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück.
Der Service war ziemlich unaufmerksam. Haben nach einem Wasserkocher gefragt, dieser sollte uns aufs Zimmer gebracht werden - ist nie passiert. Beim Roomservice fehlten Weingläser zum Wein. Das Restaurant war per Telefon kaum zu erreichen. Beim Frühstück musste man dem Servicepersonal regelrecht hinterherlaufen, um einen Kaffee zu bestellen (wäre kein Problem, wenn es eine Kaffeemaschine zur Selbstbedienung geben würde). Salz und Pfeffer sollten wir uns selber von an einem der anderen Tische suchen.
Lowlight war eine sehr laute Hochzeitsfeier im Hotel inkl. Rauch, der aus dem Hof in unser Zimmer zog. Selbst, als wir die Rollläden runtergelassen hatten, war der Bass noch so laut, das an Schlaf nicht zu denken war.
Es ist absolut verständlich, dass es bei einer Hochzeit auch mal lauter wird und nicht um 12 Schluss ist - es wäre unseres Erachtens nach aber schön, wenn das Hotel das bei der Zimmerplanung berücksichtigt hätte und uns ein Zimmer auf der anderen Seite gegeben hätte.
Das Hotel ist wirklich schön, der Service jedoch für den Preis einfach nicht zufriedenstellend.

Gute Lage, auch wenn das Ziel Kalsruhe ist. 15 Minuten bis Karlsruhe Zentrum, mit dem PKW. Parkplätze vorhanden, aber man sollte vor Ort den Platz reservieren lassen. Super Frühstücksauswahl und es wird auch auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Herrlicher Spa-Bereich.

Alles gut wie immer, einzig im Winter kann man leider kein Abendessen einnehmen, da Hund dabei.

Das Zimmer (eigentlich das ganze Hotel) wirkte zu überladen mit den wand-grossen Bildern und den vielen bunten Akzenten, wie z.B. Teppich und Sessel.

Very depressing spa area, dark, low ceilings, too much bulky old-fashioned furtniture, everything is just ugly. It feels like a dark autumn day in there, even when it’s sunny and bright outside.
Air conditioner in the room was noisy, pillows are fluffy but not supportive at all, blankets feathery, dusty and too hot. Everything feels dusty, heavy and old. Ugly furniture, carpets, art. Pretentious but no taste.
We couldn’t wait to get out of there and get some fresh air.

Pillows were too soft. Furniture is outdated, I understand that this is a classic hotel but still modern touches can give it a more premium feel.

Bed was comfortable. Very nice bar and common areas, including the breakfast area.
The room was not clean, dust everywhere. The sofa had a big stain on it.
The breakfast was rich but had not a lot of options (only 3 buffet hot options to choose from).
All in all, this is a nice cosy 4* Hotel and it would have been perfect if it was clean and somehow cheaper.

Delicious breakfast, fresh and plentiful. Tasty coffee, bread, scramble eggs, cake, all.....

It's very central, very close to the Marktplatz and next to the tram which can take you anywhere you want (btw which makes no noise, so don't worry about it). There are 3 parking options. Open air, co spot (8 spots) and underground parking. The breakfast was awesome ! The room was very spacious. The kids slept in add-on beds in the living room. Room service dropped off chocolates for the kids every day. We haven't used it but there is a kitchen. The hotel provides pots etc if you wish to cook. We had a huge terrace with a gorgeous view.
I heard from an employee that guests get a free daily pass for the tram, but the receptionist appeared to be unaware.

Delightful rooms, Pool- & Spa-facilities and delicious food. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. It's our perfect overnight stay on the way to Switzerland. We've stayed at the Erbprinz before and we will definitely come back in years to come.
