The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast had an excellent selection of choiced in a really pleasant atmosphere with attentive staff. The burg, just a short walk away, was a lovely place for beer and flatbread one night and a more refined meal the second night. (And beautiful views too.) This was a lovely base for visiting friends in the area north of Giessen.

Exzellenter Service!

Hotel an Der Burg is located in a a quite part of the Town. I used public transport to go to and from the hotel and the bus stop was just a 2 minute walk away . The room, in fact the whole hotel, was clean, tidy and warm. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast had good choice and the staff were helpful and friendly. On the day I left, I had to leave early for the airport so I had to miss breakfast and they kindly allowed me to take some food for a "packed lunch".

The location was perfect! The hotel staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had a great stay. The rooms were clean and we felt safe. The breakfast was delightful and everyone was friendly. Look forward to staying there again.

We were very disappointed that the restaurant did not work. It is very difficult to find a place to eat nearby. There was not enough hot food for breakfast.

Staff named Melissa. She was really lovely. In general I found all staff working there to be helpful and friendly. The Steak house served nice meals.

The pillows were super uncomfortable. They were just flat. They were more like thin sheets than a pillow. Had to fold it into a ball in order to sleep. Please replace with proper pillows. Thanks

the staff was very friendly and attentive! we also had dinner in the hotel, which can pride itself with an outstanding restaurant…one of the best steaks I have eaten so far.
