breakfast was fresh, very high quality, and you could ask anything you want. The rooms where very romantic and spacious and high quality finish Close to the metro (12 min drive), the metro take you to Rome and all its wonders

breakfast was served, somethimes it took a while to get cofee, a self service machine for cofee would have been nice ! The window was open, and lots of noises of cleaning machines kept my wife awake one night. Closing the window did remove the noise.

Location was OK. Facilities were OK. Staff was trying I have to admit but they’re just not there.

1. Breakfast was terrible - first of all, there is nothing savory. If you are okay with having only sugar pastries for breakfast, you’ll be okay. If you’re looking for a proper breakfast you’ll be very very disappointment. On top of that, if you’re looking to have an early start and want to have your breakfast at 8.30am it’s impossible because their kitchen staff apparently only starts after 9-9:30am 2. No privacy - I left the sign ‘do not disturb/no cleaning needed’ but they cleaning staff still went in and arranged my room. They even left some socks (which do not belong to me). I complained at the front desk because this was very annoying and uncomfortable but nothing was done about this. 3. Dinner was equally terrible - I read all the great reviews across Booking and Google reviews about how good their food was. None of that in reality. I ordered rabbit for dinner, it was just non edible. I returned it and they gave me carbonara instead. I should just tell you I drove to Rome and had dinner there the next night, it was better worth of my time and money. 4. No iron in the room (even on request) - I needed to iron my shirt, they sent me to a laundry room down the street/next door, which is btw charged extra and it’s not even managed in house. So inconvenient and not aligned to 4 star service/offering you’d expect. These are just some of the unpleasant things I had to go through during the stay. My wife and I travel frequently to Rome and we will 100% not ever going back here nor we would recommend it. I am puzzled how they were able to get such a high score on Booking, it’s just not the reality.

We loved the carefully put-together design and general outlook of the Hotel. I felt that the work done here by the management comes from genuine care to highlight the traditional Romana culture. We felt the care of an Italian mama, without losing any of the current comforts of a hotel, such as smart connect TV/ digital key. The premises are maintained to a high standard keeping the traditional character of the Hotel but with a refreshed and modern setting. Any request we made was communicated and actioned upon promptly with a smile. Even though our stay was pretty short the area has an exquisite sample of a greek orthodox church Exarchic Greek Monastery of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata, since 1024. It is a hidden gem that we would love to revisit just to rest or as a base to explore the surrounding region!

These aspects not matching the price or the rather grand nature of the junior suite. hotel restaurant food very average. breakfast nothing special.

You can't ask for better service and excellent hospitality by the owner himself or the entire staff or the amazing food in their restaurant.. exceptional !! very pleased I choosed this place and will definitely return back ...try their Meat with red wine sauce .. and the 3 different types of pasta in one dish their also house wine is incredible

We did not have too much time to spend in the Grottaferrata neighborhood, but there were cute cafes on what seemed like every street. The Princessa room was outstanding; the bathroom and bathtub were wonderful; the bed was comfortable; the room smelled amazing. The breakfast was adorable and the eating area created a cozy atmosphere. The attached restaurant was amazingly decorated with great food, although it appeared that you were supposed to have a reservation in advance.

We reached out through Booking.com ahead of our stay, but we received no response. We tried calling the hotel, but no one answered the phone. Therefore, we were a little nervous about our arrival. However, check in went smoothly; I suspect that perhaps we did not get a response to our email due to the fact that we wrote it in English.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. My partner had to go back and forth to a local medical facility and there were no taxis or Ubers....so they drove us!!

The tavern and the cellars below will whisk you back in time. The rooms was comfortable with a beautiful, large bathroom and access to a balcony. All of the staff were gracious and attentive. Solid breakfast and sumptuous dinners.
