Very kind staff. When I have arrived, I had an issue that needed some out of the box thinking. All got solved very smoothly, with the right expectations setting and then exceeding those on all levels.

The location and the view. Really nice breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Not that I did not like but it is just that I should have checked that it requires an inclined hike for me and my family to reach the accommodation from the train station. The staff helped us get a taxi which was helpful of them.

Loved the views from the terrace and garden, beds were comfortable, even had a garden. Not much of a view from the garden but with a dog I’m not going to complain about having a garden. It’s a very dog friendly place. Breakfast was good.

Wifi connection was bad in my room. Works on the terrace but I didn’t even have wifi most of the time. I thought I had already paid through booking.com except for the dog fee but aparently they didn’t charge my credit card yet and I was not prepared to pay that much on the spot (recently had my debit card of my main account blocked and not enough money on my other bank account and I didn’t remember the pin code of my credit card either). It worked out in the end but just be prepared to pay everything at checkout.

Fantastic view over lake Tegernsee and the surrounding mountains. Super breakfast buffet with everything you could want (except maybe live cooking and bubbles but we did not miss that). Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to junior suite which we took so we had balcony and direct view to the lake that was great. The property garden is well worth a stroll and the terrace provides for relaxing pass time with astonishing view

The sliding door to the toilet in the junior suite provides little privacy. Hotel is situated a bit up the hill so if you don’t arrive by car like we did it’s probably best to arrange for transportation somehow. Children are welcome but also nothing special for them to do there. But overall no big minuses

Location, very helpful staff, delicious buffet.

No microwave, very small kitchen, no boiler, very weak WiFi.
