Lage: direkt an der Haupteinkaufstraße, nah an Ubahn und zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Hotelpersonal spricht nur wenig englisch. Etwas schwierig in der Kommunikation. Frühstück auf Plastikgeschirr, Qualität hat nicht überzeugt, obwohl die Auswahl groß ist. Kaffee schlecht!

Отель очень удобно расположен. До метро примерно 500 метров. До центра города 1 км. Современный отель, номер был чистый, удобный. Рядом много кафе и небольших магазинов, центральная прогулочная улица Пекина, площадь Тянаньмень, Запретный город все в пешей доступности.

Very convenient location，our rooms are on 8th floor and the lady name 祁雪彩 did a great job as a room attendant !

the room was big and had its own dining area. the rooms were newly furnished and very modern. housekeeping was prompt and refilled the necessities. the bed fortunately was very comfy and didnt give me any backache problems. i liked everything including the window which could be slightly opened to let in fresh air.

Beautiful rooms and especially the bathroom. There was good natural lighting in the room and daily cleaning. Wifi very good and fast.

The breakfast wasn’t good. Bread and fruits were not fresh, coffee didn’t taste good. I would like more cheeses, bread and western style breakfast.

Great place to explore Beijing. Right next to one of the main pedestrian areas, with lots of shopping malls, stores and restaurants. The room was big and the bed were amazing, super comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful.

We were trying to order a transfer service for our arrival. I sent two messages to the hotel via booking.com, but decided to call instead, having not received any answer from them. They would greet in Mandarin and swiftly hang up the phone when we started to speak in english. This happened several times, even throughout our stay, when making internal calls to the reception. They came up with an excuse that their phone had problems, which didn't make much sense to us, as we could perfectly hear them. During our stay, we didn't meet any receptionist capable of speaking English (hence the phone problems, I presume). They make use of an online translator, which made communication very difficult, sometimes impossible. This happens all around China, but in a 4 diamond hotel (the equivalent to a 4 star hotel), you would expect better. But the most comic part of our stay and the most difficult to understand was that the hotel had an awkwardly low ceiling (exception made of the reception level). To make things worse, we were accommodated on the last floor where the ceiling was even lower: my husband is 1.96m tall and could not stand upright in the corridors or bathroom. When we asked (right at check-in) to be moved to a room with a higher ceiling, we were told that all rooms had low ceilings, which wasn't the whole truth: we found out by ourselves that the floor below ours had a ceiling a few centimetres higher. The head receptionist just couldn't care less about helping us out. This hotel is aiming the chinese market. Nothing against it, but it would be more honest to assume this from the outset and avoid unpleasant situations with non-Mandarin-speaking guests.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the city center and to a metro station, very easy to reach. It is also close to some roads with shops and places to eat that are not frequented by foreigners. The hotel staff was super nice and helped with a lot of problems I had during my trip (the initial hotel I booked, not with Booking, closed months ago and did not inform me, plus my luggage was lost at the airport and it was supposed to be sent to this initial hotel. The staff helped me call the airport and change the address.). I was helped by Bonnie and Lily who both speak very good English. The day of the departure I was also helped to call a taxi to the train station. The rooms are big with a comfortable bed and very very soft pillows, they give you free bottles of water and other amenities such ad combs and toothbrush if you need (for free but only upon request). It is also quiet. The hotel also has a bar and a separate restaurant but I have not teied either.

I wish breakfast was always included.

A few words about the hotel where I stayed in Beijing. Let's start with the fact that for me the main criterion when choosing a hotel was the availability of fitness. Okay, we filtered out all the unnecessary choice fell on this "4diamonds". After choosing a room category, 7% VAT and 13% service charge were added to the price, and this is already 20% of the total amount and the price sharply equaled the top "5diamonds" Well, I read the reviews, it seems they write that the hotel is good. After 100% online prepayment, I receive a message by mail, the hotel is undergoing renovations from 9am to 6pm, we apologize for the inconvenience. Since I did not plan to hang out at the hotel at this time, I ignored this alarm bell, especially after 100% prepayment. Okay, I come, I check in, I make a deposit of 400RMB, then I asked to show me gym and what I got a logical answer to, but didn’t they tell you that the fitness was being renovated? What a twist! Although booking.com indicates that everything is available and in stock. This is at least a discount of -20%. I remind you that this was the main criterion for me when choosing a hotel. Actually, what did we get for this fabulously inflated amount. There is a beautiful view of the city from the window, see the photo on the wall with air conditioning. The staff speaks English, yes I am happy for them, but I did not come to practice English. There is simply no disposable toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, what the hell is this "4diamonds"? By the way, wi-fi did not work either, although there was a connection. In general, sheer disappointment, sheer negative.

The hotel is near to shops and a kilometer or 2 away from the center. The staff are all kind and accommodating. They can communicate well in English.

The room is a little stuffy and has ‘old’ smell. I am not sure if it comes from the central vent or maybe because the hotel is old already. I just bought room spray from the nearby store to remove the smell.
