Petit déjeuner et la gentillesse du personnel

Tout était bien

Per prima cosa devo dire che la gentilezza, la premura, la cura e la simpatia del personale (diurno e notturno) sono la vera perla rara di questo albergo: è veramente difficile trovare personale così gentile e problem solving. Altri aspetti positivi: la posizione (sulla via emilia) e la possibilità di mettere la macchina in garage al chiuso.

La struttura tuttavia non vale il prezzo che si paga. La colazione non è a buffet come promesso, ma a "buffet servito" quindi è vietato servirsi da soli nemmeno ci fosse ancora il covid. Inoltre la (scarsa) qualità dei (pochi) cibi dolci e salati offerta è molto "da spesa alla Lidl" nonostante un ottimo parmigiano ed un ottimo salame. La dotazione per il bagno è buona, ma la doccia ha il telo di nylon (che costava mettere una normale chiusura trasparente?), l'acqua calda ci mette 5 minuti ad arrivare e il pavimento dei bagni è terribilmente scivoloso al limite del pericolo a camminarci scalzi. Infine l'aria condizionata (almeno nella mia stanza) era antiquatissima e non funzionava: anzi, avevamo (a metà aprile) i termosifoni a tutta manetta senza possibilità di auto regolazione (mi faceva fatica chiedere alla reception e ho dormito a finestra aperta per compensare).

The hotel staffs were kind, friendly, caring, and full of hospitality. That really made us feel comfortable. Parking place was prefect that it was a garage, near by the hotel, and free for charge. The breakfast was nice and beautiful.

Building might be a bit old. But it was perfectly clean and tidy.

Only the location

The room was very hot and even if AC was included in the facilities they said it didn't work and asked as to open the windows. We had to sleep with the windows open which was noisy too. The breakfast was simple and the worst thing was that they didn't allow us a self-service which was very bothering and not comfortable at all because you feel that they are watching and counting what you eat.

Excellent location and very convenient at the entrance of the town near the train station. The owner is so warm and welcoming. He gave us the places to visit and bars, restaurants and shops to go to. We did all and we were not disappointed. The town is so charming and it's not really on the tourist trail so you get to experience a truly local vibe. I would come and visit the town again and would definitely stay here.

We loved the breakfast and the location was perfect. It was quiet for night time and easy to find.

Very nice people at reception and breakfast. Big room and big bathroom with bath and shower and everything very clean.

Wifi was very low in my room, I had to share my 4G connection from my phone.

We had a lovely overnight stay in this beautiful little city. Albergo Morandi is perfectly located, close to restaurants and sites. The reception was excellent, friendly and welcoming with good advice on where to eat, what to see and where to shop. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast had a lot of choice of sweet and savory food with local specialties. Parking was convenient, covered and secure.
