The idea of an oasis really does exist! If only we’d known how chilled and inviting this place was we would’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend to have 2 nights or more here.

Pool was amazing. Excellent breakfast and dinner. It is the place where we definitely would go again. It is a bit off-road but it is easy to reach and the road is really nice and interesting to drive on.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The ecolodge is well positioned within olive groves and fruit and vegetable gardens in the oasis region of Skoura. It is a welcome retreat to the hot and arid countryside in summer. It is definitely an oasis of coolness and tranquility, with many trees and the constant sounds of birds and animals (and a swimming pool). The staff are very friendly and polite and try to make the guests as comfortable as possible. The food is well provided and delicious.

We stopped here for only one night on our way along the road of the Kasbahs, but actually should have stayed longer to explore the beautiful surroundings. The farm can be reached by normal car via a bit adventurous piste, but there signs everywhere and Google Maps also works well.
The accommodation is spread over several bungalows in a beautiful, flowering garden, surrounded by fields that are farmed organically. Our room was on ground level, very spacious and with tastefull decoration. The hot water in the spacious bathroom also worked very well.
Dinner was delicious and the staff very warm and friendly, as were other guests. Breakfast was outstanding, with a buffet including many homemade products and several teas to choose from, something you don't find almost anywhere in Morocco. We haven't used the pool as it was quite fresh in April, but it was very clean and nice located in the garden.
One remark: It is better to bring cash, as card payment is sometimes not possible depending on the internet connection.

The pool area was lovely and also relaxing. Really beautiful gardens to walk amongst. I liked the fact that the four of us shared a bungalow type property but with separate facilities like showers. The food was good and they were fairly sensitive to the limitations of what I couldn’t eat. We had access to a lovely roof terrace in our property which meant great views of the mountains
What I found difficult in nearly all the properties we had on our tour of Morocco were the showers. It would have been great if they were contained instead of open to prevent splashing .

The location is great for having quietness and peace. Too bad we did not stay longer. The pool was clean and my son enjoyed it. The location has pleny of games for the kids. A place to relax. Dinner was very good.
If you need internet, keep in mind that you will only have it in the main building of the hotel which make it also nice as a relaxing hotel
Perhaps because we were in ramadan time, although breakfast has a lot of variety, they were running out of many stuff and it took a lot of time before they restocked the food.

beautiful place, very nice people, really good food!

very nice location and quietness, proximity to many nice sites to visit
The owner/manager was not giving too much care to us (1. starting with some remarks at Checkin, 2. constantly mentioning costs/taxes/how to save any drop of water - and at the end billing me again the room rate which had been paid on Booking and 3. to finally keep us locked outside the lodge when we were returning from a dinner outside at 9pm…).
now, regarding the « eco-lodge », I am wondering why we have some industrial cheese at breakfast while some local goat cheese producers are around the corner. the food quality is far from exceptional and in low quantity. don’t even except a welcome Moroccan tea as it is the case everywhere else in the country! there are many other options way more local and friendly!

Fabulous safe fun beautiful.
Room a little cold. But to be fair it was winter. Had to put fire on. Which was nice. For me.

Really a nice place, even in winter I could feel the beauty of Oasis Skoura. Kader,Said and all the staff are very friendly, they made me feel at home in just two day’s trip. I will definitely be back here as I have agreed with them. In short, if you want to experience the unique Moroccan style and the most local cultural atmosphere, you are right to come here!

Cozy cabin feel with a fireplace! The restaurant is one of the nicest we visited and had the best breakfast. There were lots of great amenities within the natural landscape of the walls of this estuary, with a beautiful pool, spa, games and lovely hikes and walks with great views of the mountains. We would highly recommend at least 2 night here to enjoy everything this ecolodge has to offer.
Skoura is located in an oasis just before the Atlas Mountains and the ecolodge is located about 7km outside of town making it a little bit difficult to get to for a one night stay. As mentioned in other posts, it's a wonderful place but to really appreciate what this place has to offer, we wish we had planned on staying at least 2 nights.

This is such a lovely place, and is worth making a special trip for. In addition to the glorious pool, the spacious and tasteful rooms, the homemade toiletries, and delicious tagines, the fabulous Said made our stay extremely memorable, making us laugh and ensuring that we had a great holiday.
The wifi needs an upgrade!

Sawadi is an idyllic place to unwind, especially after exploring the hectic medina life of Marrakech. Situated in an oasis in Skoura, Sawadi is rich in greenery and hospitality. Kader and the rest of the crew go out of their way to ensure a comfortable and welcoming visit. Ryka's breakfasts are a treat and Said's infectious giggle and top-notch service will have you immediately smiling. Kader gave me a nice tour of the grounds and we picked the tastiest apricots from the small orchard. The rooms are beautiful and the common area features an amazing table and chair set that could easily be in the set of a rock and roll video. This place is beyond beautiful and I recommend staying a few nights to soak in the tranquil setting and explore nearby sights like Kasbah Amridil. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, Sawadi.
As a place focused on ecology and sustainability, I hope Sawadi will consider making filtered water tanks available for guests to use in lieu of purchasing bottled water. I've stayed in other houses abroad where this was offered. I hope it's possible in Skoura.

We had a wonderful time at Sawadi. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. It is heaven on earth and unexpectedly green in a wonderful oasis setting. All products for dinner and breakfast come from their own farm which is 4 hectars large. Super super friendly staff and French owner. Just perfect !

The pool was good. The Palm Grove area which this property is on the edge of is fascinating, well worth a walk around alone or guided.
Its interesting to be in an area with so much water but on the edge of a very dry desert.
Although our rooms were large and in fact we had 2 rooms plus a shower room, there were no comfortable chairs to relax in just beds. On an outside large balcony area there were two fixed loungers but they had no ability to be adjusted to for example sit more upright.
If you are going out on regular day trips, bear in mind that the track to the lodge from tarmac roads is very long and slow. We loved the isolation, but if you want to go for example into town , although not far its perhaps a 20-30 minute trip.

the property is located right in the middle of the oasis, a little piece of paradise. strongly suggest to try their hammam and massages, amazing. great food made all with their organic products. a fantastic place to go disconnect and relax. the place is extremely family friendly, has a swimming pool, volleyball court, ping pong and hammocks. you can also purchase all of their food and beauty products.
some of the road to the property is unpaved as it is in the middle of the oasis, so once you’re in i suggest you stay until you need to leave. the staff speaks mostly french, not so fluent in english.

This was one of our Highlights during our journey through Morocco.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed the time in this beautiful Lodge. The houses are surrounded by a beautiful garden, a paradise. The employees where really nice and accomodating. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious and rich. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we could see, that everyone, espacially the children, had good time at this Paradise.
One night is to short, better book for more nights.
We couldn't pay with our credit card, because the system was not working. So it's better to bring cash.

We stopped here for a few days on our family road trip around Morocco. Catherine and her staff have an absolutely magic place here and will do all they can to ensure you have an amazing stay. The property is lovely, all built in traditional materials and architecture and surrounded by the vegetable garden where everything cooked is grown.
The ambience is relaxed and magical, allowing you to rest from Morrocos hustle and bustle. There are plenty of games and activities for the kids, the pool is amazing and you can explore the surroundings and have a taste of the countries rural life.
Thank you for this amazing stay Catherine, Kader, Said and all the Sawadi staff ❤️
