closeness of the beach, backyard next to the marina

Great location with very helpful personell! Apartment was nice!

We stayed at the beach apartments in summer 2020 with our toddler (20 months). The apartment was clean had all the basics. The kitchens don’t have much in the way of extra utensils but we were able to cook and eat in when we wanted. Cot and high chair were both decent quality. The location is great. The apartments are all around a marina so interesting views and 5-10 minutes walk to the pool (large and had roman steps for toddler to play on), beach and shops (even quicker on the free bikes that came with a child seat!). We ate in the local cafes and osteria and the local supermarket is well stocked. Larger supermarkets are not far by bike or car. The staff were brilliant and incredibly helpful.

Some reviews have mentioned that apartments are far from the pool and there is train noise. Yes the train is noisy if you’re on the balcony but they are infrequent and they didn’t disturb our sleep/we didn’t really hear them inside. The pool was a very very short cycle away from our apartment (which was one of the most distant ones) or just over a 5 minute walk through the marina. Note there are extra charges for bed linen/towels and air conditioning. Bring your own beach/pool towels (or buy them in one of the many marina shops!)

Very nice appartment, well equipped. We enjoyed tbe view on marina and the sea.

Unfortunately, the appartment was close to railway, which was little loud during nights.

It was our second holidays here. The place is wonderful. Our apartment was very nice with huge terrace. Communication with reception was very kind and helpful. Hope we will come back again.

There could be wider choice of kitchen equipment (dishes, cutlery and drinking glasses), it will be easier to prepare meals next time.

Portoverde Apartments are in amazing port. The place is very nice and view from our terrace was really incredible. Also interior of the apartment was very nice, main bedroom was quite big and equipped wit nex furniture. Second room with foldaway bed was smaller, but enough for sleeping. Two bathrooms were great for 5 people. Our apartment was on the outer side (Via O. Nelson), it was near to lovely beach on thi side of the port. But it was quite far from the pool. And about noise from the railway - yes, our apartment was near to it, so at midnight and early in the morning it was hearable. But we live near the A-road, so we are used to the traffic noise. For the family with babies or those who are habituated to sleep in the silence will be better the building in the middle of the port. With all of this will help you reception staff - they are very helpfull and kind. Although we were late by check-in, they were great and prepared for us smooth start of our holiday. I hope we will come back early.
