The pool

Non air conditioning in our room....the overpowering stench of sewage coming up from the tub drain. Poor lighting. Not enough drinking water. Really a terrible night.

The people who stay here are awesome. Laid back, super friendly. Staff are helpful and work around your schedule. I note that the management is upgrading things. Our cooktop didnt work, we commented and right away a new (brand new) one was installed. If you are lacking something, ask to see if they have one. Great bird watching and iguana watching right across the street on the hanging bridge. Lots of little stores down the street to get your basics

The cooks did an excellent job. They were clean, professional and nice. The staff was very nice. Check-in and check-out were easy. My car was safe.

I did not like that there were no stores or areas of interest in walking distance.

I must say that the hotel staff was UNBELIEVABLY friendly and helpful. They were so professional. If it weren't for them. I would have hated my stay.

The hotel did not match the pictures as described on their website. The pool was drained and the rooms were musty and dusty. You're close to a main highway so you won't have a restful sleep if you're a light sleeper. The hotel is way across town and in one of the not so nice areas of Morelia.
