Good communication with the host beforehand, especially as I lost access to my emails and she had to resend al the info to another address. Location of the property was good as we needed to stay somewhere close to Lydney House where our friends were having a big birthday celebration. As such we didn't spend much time in the cottage, but have no complaints about it.

We had a fabulous stay at Manor Farm Cottage. The property itself was well presented with everything a family of five (plus their dog) could need for a week’s stay. There were plenty of supermarket and restaurant/takeaway options within a few minutes walk and Swaffham is a great base from which to explore Norfolk. Thetford Forest, Sandringham Estate and the beaches of Holkham and Wells were a short drive away, and highly recommended for days out. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive to our queries, fixing a wi-fi issue straight away and helping us to discover lots of great dog walks in the local area. Finally, looking out of your kitchen window to see a local peacock (of which there are several) strutting around on your lawn is an experience you wouldn’t get with many properties and guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

It’s hard to find anything to say as it was such a charming cottage. There were perhaps some small niggles but they would be very much down to personal preference. For example, I thought the pillows and mattresses on the single beds were far more comfortable than that on the double but someone else could think completely differently. Honestly, any negative comment I could make would be completely trivial compared to all the positives.

Location was excellent, Very homely well equipped and extremely clean, The bedding was so comfy and spotlessly white and crisp,
