The cottage is small but it is perfectly formed. It was beautifully clean when I arrived and the property manager went out of her way to make sure all was well. Although it is next to a town road the traffic did not disturb me at all. The bed was really comfortable and I slept very well. Parking on site is a complete bonus. I would book this cottage again.

Absolutely loved staying at this cottage with my mum for the weekend! Home from home and such a peaceful surroundings. The community were so friendly and welcoming and the town has everything you need, not far from other gorgeous places and perfect hub to spend a weekend or even much longer, away from the hustle and bustle. I brought my foldaway mattress to stay downstairs but there was already one there with bedding which was lovely. We really appreciated the milk and biscuits to have our first cup of teas, and all the lovely little touches that made our stay extra special. Such a beautiful place. Loved the sound of the peacocks and the birds.

The only thing I would change if being picky is the kettle, I know it may sound silly but there is not a filter or gauze on the spout and the water is very hard water so the teas made were gritty and pieces of limescale came out into the water. All other amenities were fantastic and plentiful, but the teas and coffees we looked forward to were a little tainted. This seems picky as it didn't detriment the stay whatsoever.

Comfortable bed, comfortable sitting room, hot shower, beautiful garden, on site parking, close to town centre and within 5 minutes drive of both Tesco and Waitrose.

It was ideal for us as a base to visit old friends and family

Proximate to the main road, fine during the day but noisy at night

Nice and clean, good outside area, walking distance to town & shops.

Stairs a little difficult to negotiate with a suitcase - not really suitable for older, less mobile people.
