Friendly staff. Beautiful apartment with two large bathrooms. Clean, plenty of splace.

One of the beds was actually a converted couch. It was partially destroyed by customers that had used it to watch the TV, so when I slept on it, it was slumped in the middle and very uncomfortable. I called the staff and asked them to come and see in what conditions I slept. I showed them the "bed". The answer was: "oh, we're so happy it's just the bed. we thought you were complaining about the cleanness. We didn't even test the bed". And here I was thinking: wasn't the point of a hotel THE BED? Isn't like, you know, the REASON you come to a hotel to SLEEP IN A BED? And you don't test the beds? They also didn't offer any sort of compensation, until at the very last, when we checked out and they gave us free parking for the 1 day we stayed there (worth about 7 Euros, so I'll give this hotel a 7 instead of a 6 thanks to the guy at the reception). But this doesn't surprise me. In general, even after 33 years after the fall of communism, Romanian tourism is still affected by incompetence, immaturity and not caring about the customer.

Great location, Great breakfast, helpful staff, great value for money, spacious rooms with carpets, shampoos also nice, welcoming lobby, we had a very pleasant stay. Excellent vegan restaurant at a short walking distance down a pleasant side road.

The "sofa bed" was very small, does not fit an adult, or even a tall child. The housekeeping lady was very friendly and sweet, but cleaning was often done without care, and there were dirty water stains in the bathrooms. The hotel has a nice view but the balcony is over a main road on which drivers drive fast and noisy, making it virtually unusable. The other window does not open at all, so it is hard to let fresh air in. It is also kind of scary to walk by this road with kids, but there is no other way to go by foot from the hotel to the area, so we just had to hold them close.

The parking situation is bad, almost never any available due to limited number of spaces at the hotel, parking in the area is terrible. I had to park at a nearby hotel (Mariott) and carry all the luggage aprox 6-800m to the hotel. the rooms are oudated and in need of renovation, shower had terrible drainage, rooms are not soundproofed, all the noise from the hallway will be heard inside the room!

The staff is kind.

Very low value for money (85 euro per night). The wifi was so bad, it took me several minutes to load one web page (and got told there is nothing they can do about it). The room was old and not well maintained (dirty). The breakfast was very basic.
