Easy as a pit stop in a trip - close to the motorway. Clean room, nice dinner and good breakfast. Staff welcoming. Pet friendly (note: dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room)

The room could be improved by adding air conditioning, mosquito net at the window and maybe replacing the floor carpet

The hotel room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was perfect for us and our guests. The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. COVID restrictions were followed to a high standard by staff. The room was clean and tidy and cleaned daily. It's family run I understand which gives the feeling of genuine pleasure to have guests and gives the guests a direct link to owners, which is brilliant. The family meet for breakfast every morning in the breakfast room, which again is giving accessibility to guests.

It's purely personal, but I like guest rooms, especially in these COVID times, to have tea, coffee and chocolate drinks in bedrooms with a kettle. This then gives choices to guests to mix in the communal areas, or remain in their rooms for a relaxing hot drink. No other concerns regarding the hotel.

I would prefer to get a bottle of water in the room, but there was none. Otherwise, value for money.
