The place is very cosy, well located and the owner was very accommodating with a late check out due to a delayed flight.

The taxi service from the airport that they advise you to take is more expensive than the government one which is 1500$.

Room a little hot and we can open the window. However, the fan did the trick.

I would strongly recommend this place to my friends. The beds sleep well--I even checked the IKEA pillow and mattress labels because I slept so good. The interior design looks modern organic/beach house. GOOD WIFI. A cleaning lady is present during work hours. The location is great, near the main street. No noise complaints. Fresh room. Some musquitos are inevitable. Outstanding hospitality fromt the host: she offered excellent taxi recommendations, fast replies, predicted possible obstacles and offered solutions, very nice. Access to kitchen facilities was handy for our breakfast/lunch. We enjoyed the picknick table on the balcony. Host allowed us to relax at the balcony and use the wifi after check-out hours, as we waited for our next ride to arrive.

Though the toilet/sink was fine, the en-suite shower didn't work well. It only gave a few droplets. The host said this was due to the low local water pressure (which the host could not do anything about). My travel partner and I arrived at night. We would've liked to have been able to shower immediately at night. If the 'shower malfunctioning due water pressure'-problem is common, we would've liked to be alerted about this in advance. We put our sweaty bodies in a clean bed. The next morning the host told us we could use the upstairs shared bathroom shower. (I wonder why she didn't she tell us in advance the bathroom is available upstairs? I could've showered at night?) Showering upstairs in the mornings went fine. We renegotiated something with the host and were satisfied afterwards.

The apartment in the first floor we got was very well and pleasantly equiped. We were most grateful for the flexibility of the host to let us stay longer before our flight departure.

Nice spacious room, cozy common area with equipped kitchen (cooker, oven, microwave). After check out, I could keep the key to leave my luggage in a cupboard under the stairs and pick up my bag later and leave the key inside. Communication with the owner through WhatsApp was good and fluent. Good wifi.

The room with bathroom had no pressure on the water (no water at all) so I had to use the common bathroom, which had good pressure and good hot water. Noisy outside during the night and the closed windows didn't really keep out the noise. Best to bring earplugs. I didn't have them. :(
