On the water, big room, nice ce balcony, clean beds. Staff helpful. Brilliant sauna.
Opposite a very industrial part of Stavanger, mostly empty and staff seemed stressed. They didn’t let us eat the nice glass room on the deck because they would have to carry food in.

I booked it due to the location, and I was not wrong. Including nice weather, the location was just amazing.

nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Stavanger. Nice staff.
The hotel bedrooms need a redecoration. It all feels very tired.
Our second night was ruined because the staff allowed a wedding party to continue until nearly 2am along with the most awful “booming” music. I went downstairs at 0030h to ask if the music could be turned down, which it was almost immediately, but then it started up again 20 minutes later! We got hardly any sleep and I will be asking for a partial refund.

We stayed here as an alternative to Stavanger. It worked well. The small community and harbor around the hotel was pleasant and quite. The hotel is a bit dated; but comfortable and clean. Hotel staffing was limited but pleasant. We enjoyed the nice breakfast; but, decided to eat diner elsewhere in Stavanger. Overall we thought this hotel was a great value and will stay here again. But, it does take time and effort, and a car, to reach Stavanger.
