A local bar/restaurant with a hotel attached. It was great! I took 2 rest days from the Camino and this place was perfect. Food...amazing, both in the bar and the restaurant. Staff.....wonderful! Bed/room...I miss it already.

A little walk from the main part of the Cathedral area (10-15 mins) but the quiet neighborhood is very close to the river park.

Excellent room and welcome . Lovely bar, easy parking close to hotel.

Wanted a meal - asked for the chicken and chips option - told it would be two hours so had to have a very enjoyable toasted sandwich. No actual breakfast - only very limited options in the bar.

We were persuaded to book this hotel on the basis of comments which we believed were from previous visitors. We were very disappointed with what we actually experienced. We understood the room would be big, which it was not , and there was no aircon. The weather was very hot and the room was very uncomfortable during the night. We had also seen that a big advantage of the hotel was its own restaurant. We decided to eat there as Burgos was a 30 minute walk away. We waited patiently in our room until 8 10 pm, but when we went down there were no lights in the restaurant and the young man tending the bar told us it was closed. We were not happy as we could not understand why they had not simply put a notice on the door that day to advise potential clients. The only eating establishment nearby was a pizza restaurant, which we were forced to use, and which was dire. When we tried to sleep, not only was the room like a furnace, but the noise from the bar terrace attached to the hotel went on until 10 30 pm. After that other guests returned to their rooms and we found out that the walls were so thin we could hear them talking for the next hour. We had finally fallen into a very disjointed sleep only to be woken at 4 20 am by the municipal garbage collectors collecting bottles and garbage which went on for half an hour. By this time we had had enough and decided to leave, no breakfast just go, which we did. The rate is not cheap and our advice to anyone thinking of using this hotel would be- consider carefully.
