The owner is a very kind and sympathetic woman who gave us a big upgrade once we spent our first night at the studios.

The flat, which is half-underground, was very clean. Unfortunately it was also very hot/humid (early August). Since we didn't want to use the air conditioning, we had to open the very large window (floor to ceiling), which is only opening towards the court/street. This meant lots of noise from the street, mosquitos, and nearly no fresh air (although outside was fresh and windy). Mattress was old and soft.

The design and comfort

No mosquito net, killed many mosquitos before going to sleep.

The apartment was very clean and well maintained, plenty of room and storage space.

The front apartments were facing a very nosy through road. The maid was the only person at the property and showed us to the wrong room. When this was discovered the manager/owner was very angry and upset with us!

Very clean and nice apartment. Close to the town center and to the beach. Place was cleaned up on a daily basis.

Kitchen have a bit minimalistic equipment. There was no problem with making breakfast. Preparing dinner could be a challenge.

Great place to stay in the area, parking nearby is possible, clean, friendly and spacious apartments. Very close to the beach and the center of Paleochora. We really enjoyed our stay.

This won't bother everybody (we didn't mind) but it is worth noting that the apartments (some more than others) are next to the secondary school so during term time it becomes quite noisy at 8am and then break times and class changeovers.
