Ingolfur and Marcella were amazing hosts. Their hospitality made us feel at home so far from our home. The hot tin overlooking the ocean and the serenity and peaceful surroundings made our stay exceptional. The breakfast each morning was great. The coffee machine was fantastic.

This host Ingólfur is outstanding guy, helped us to find the best Mountain Bike trails and other things in Grenivik. The hot tub was very nice and located in magic view for the sunset in the front of the house. We can recommend this 100% in every way. Looking forward to come back.

We were pleasantly surprised by the mountain/sea view of the guesthouse, especially the sunset view on the terrasse at the end of the day is quite phenomenonal. The owner was incredibly nice and served us an excellent breakfast. For the short distance from Akureyri, it's a totally different experience, calm and cozy.

Our stay was incredible! Beds were comfy, room was clean and fresh, location is so special (beautiful nature around and a very nice small bay). The host is super friendly and helpful. Ingolfur (the host) helped us with the car, when we had some problems in the morning. This place is the paradise and escape from the busy workdays. I will definitely recommend to stay and relax here!

This is a most amazing place to stay you can find. Everything was just perfect. The place, the location, the hot tub with the most spectacular view ever. Beautiful place with a hot tub looking over the ocean. This is a little bit out of the way (30 minutes up the fjord from Akureyri) but was worth the drive for the beauty and peace in Grenivik. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was very friendly and helpful. He made us Skyr with berries he picked in the mountains...so good!

Staying here was definitely a highlight of our trip to Iceland. We loved the decor of the guesthouse, the room is spacious and well furnished, breakfast was delicious. The host is very helpful and welcoming. Plus we loved the skyr!

The host Ingolfur where very open to every guest in his guesthouse. He was very interested in everyone's trip and gave good advises where to go and what to do taking into account traveler interests. In the breakfast he was telling interesting stories and answering our questions, so breakfast took as much longer as usual, but we were happy to talk. His breakfast menu was mostly from local community and even his mother was cooking delicacies bred and special historical cookies. Also the extra was hot tub which where kindly offered to use by host. Far away our best guesthouse in our trip regarding facilities and of-course the very open and kind host. Thank You once more, Ingolfur!

All good here. Pleasant comfortable room, with all facilities. Great host who loved to talk about his country and customs, the local area etc. Good location.
