Upper bunk beds are not easy to access. We took the stairs away since they were not fasten to the beds.

A very nice cosy place for a 2 days' rest after going around the island. Very clean and comfortable. Nice view.

Modern cabin with great view.

When you have modern cabin, expect to have all possible equipment, but... There are no "little" things that makes your stay comfortable. Instead of that, there are rules I have never seen before in Iceland. Take the garbage outside of Holand ( place where are the cabins)! Ok, where? We are foreigners and really don't know where to place it. Than, put dishes from washing machine to its usual place. I agree, but we have to wait at least hour for that. That means, no breakfast. There is no sponge to wash it manually, nor washing gel. We should be relaxed in our vacation, not to wake up early in the morning to respect the rules. If I knew what to expect regarding rules, my choice would be some other accommodation. So, inform us about rules before booking!!! Friendly advice and solution: add cleaning fee to the final cost. It would be more expensive but much easier. Professionals should clean the place, not guests.

We stayed in 2 of the Hrimland Cottages and they were amazing. With their own hot tub, and spacious living area with 3 bedrooms and washer and dryer. They were spotless and clean, and well appointed. I would highly recommend these units.

Dishwashing soap in the unit would have been helpful

It was clean. The appliances worked. The surrounding area is beautiful and the nearby town is very nice.

Warning: this house is on a construction site. It is in an unfinished subdivision. There are units being built three quarters of the way around it. Drilling and engine noise starts at 8 am, diggers cranes trucks dust etc. Outdoor seating consists of one small picnic bench- if you actually had 8 people stay here they would have to eat in shifts, same goes for the couch seating. There are no face towels and exactly one hand towel in the bathroom the size of a face cloth. The kitchen comes with salt pepper and 6 coffee pods and is equipped with no other consumable, not even paper towel.. The cooktop is in the middle of the counter island, over the dish drawer, in right where the stools are put for people to eat at the island - makes accidentally touching the hot surface very easy, Weirdly, every bed is a single bed and the rooms are too small to push them together because there are built in night stands in between them. The hot tub is indoors but requires you to keep the door to the outside open when in use -ensuring that bugs or cold or rain come in - why would anyone design things that way? Why not just put it outside like every where else in Iceland?

New house with incredible view. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a washer and dryer that worked well, we did several loads!

Only drawback was that the roller shades in the bedrooms didnt completely block out the light.
