Excellent location and very good communication by the owner. Basic apartment. Everything is ok, but not luxury. Good value for the money, because it can fit a big family.

host was reachable and communicated required things, gave some tips before our arrival. location is very good.

unfortunately it was so dirty. the floor was full of dust and the bedsheets were with hair. Kitchen was not enough equipped.

Dim lighting. Description of booking does not advise it is up 3 flights of stairs. Difficult with lots of luggage. At time of stay the stairs were being painted although not the owners fault, we were not informed. Cold water still smelt like sulfur. Shower didn't drain well. Kettle base from kitchen was missing. Difficult climbing up to attic, not safe for children. Tight squeeze for larger people.

The location was great. On the main street for shopping, restaurants, and bars. Walking distance to many coffee shops, the harbor, and the church. There is paid parking on the street about $3.00 an hour, double check the parking signs because the parking is monitored closely. There is a lock box which was easy to access. Trash is behind the building and accessed down an alley.

The unit is up three flights of stairs which can be challenging with luggage. Minimal supplies ie, toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, bath towels provided. The third bedroom is a large loft with bed, sofa, etc. but is accessed through a very steep set of stairs, pretty unsafe for young children. Overall, place is fine, cost is reasonable, and the location is the best.

The apartment has a small kitchen which we used for several meals. It also has a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. They were very convenient once we figured out how to get them working. The location of this apartment is its best feature. We were within walking distance to several shopping and eating locations. The owner made great recommendations which we utilized and was very quick to respond to any questions.

The only issue we had was the size of the bathroom for a three bedroom. It was difficult for 3 adults and 3 children to manage having one small bathroom. With that said, the bathroom was very clean and everything worked properly.

The location is good, except for some kitchen utensils, the facilities of the house are sufficient. Check in and check out is very simple.

The house was not clean. There were hairs on the beds. Whatever was washed inside the washing machine, black cotton balls remained. Some places looked like they hadn't been swept in a long time, like the area under the stairs to the top floor.

We had a hard time with the lock box. It was late, cold and raining. Fortunately we stode under an overhang with luggage. Finally we got the box open. My sisters boyfriend believed that the last person to put it in put it in a little crooked and that caused the problem. Anyway we did get it, unpacked, had a glass of wine and everything was great. Fabulous location. Location was perfect. 1 block from being picked up to all our tours. Walking distance to Perlan museum which is a must see. Don't miss the ice cave! Walk took us about 22 minutes.

N/A. I don't believe the key problem was the fault of the host but just a mistake.

When information given on how to collect keys it would help if told which floor the flat is in. We had no clue so had to try the key on other tenants doors until we found correct one!

Location was great, picked up yogurt for breakfast. Had all other meals out. Could not find a better location, within a block of bus stop #9. Everything was as stated in the ad. Only caution was it is a 3rd floor walk up but stairs and hallway was good so not a problem for myself at 70 years old. Had a great time there. 👍

Minor. Lock was a little sticky, nothing that a cleaning with WD 40 would not fix.

It takes a long time for cold water to arrive from the taps. The WiFi password was not indicated in the apartment, I had to request it from the host.

Great location in walking zone of Reykjavik. Appreciated the number of sleeping spaces for our family of 5, as well as the living room/hang-out space. Didn't get to enjoy balcony due to weather/wind, but had some nice views.

Keys/locks difficult, both getting into building and apartment. Queen bed in main level bedroom not very comfy. Wifi info. wasn't posted in unit or check-in instructions - messaged host, but didn't get response until after checked out (though he apologized and gave discount to compensate).

Apartment was a good size and had all the amenities you could hope for - dishwasher, washing machine etc. Beautiful apartment in a great location in Reykjavik, Close to the local swimming pool!

We needed some help with the appliances but the owner came by and gave us a demonstration so no worries. The third bedroom had a slightly lower roof but quite adaptable.

Highly recommended. Just came back from Iceland we stay in Reykjavik 5 days. Apartment nice and clean on the main street. Close everywhere. Owner very helpful with everything. Defo we will back there.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of town - on the high street in-fact. Perfect for shops, bars and sightseeing. Parking available just outside if you don't mind paying (was about £15 for 24 hours) via a handy ticket machine on the corner of the road. Funky little speaker in the main room allowing us to bluetooth connect and have some tunes playing Rooms were spacious, although they are getting dated compared to the photos and if we'd paid more or spent more time in the apartment then there would be cause for complaint - see next section. Despite the cold weather out, and without having the heating on all the time, the apartment stayed relatively warm

So we contacted the owner and reported the following: Toilet leaked Shower head drips Shower pole loose No hairdryer WiFi didn't connect/work TV didn't work without WiFi Host said that they would bring a hairdryer - they never New WiFi password was provided - still never worked Nothing else was fixed during our time there Other things of note - the top bedroom was hazardous to get to with the very steep stairway and definitely couldn't carry a suitcase up them. 3rd floor apartment may not suit all if planning on going in and out throughout the day. Kitchen layout very odd - only power outlet was above the sink - balancing kettle on the window ledge to make a cuppa surely contravenes some H&S rule somewhere? Some guidance (a booklet or laminated card at least) would be good upon arrival regarding use of the heating, kitchen appliances, WiFi, emptying the bins, etc.

Amazing location close to a key bus stop and really close to shops and city centre

Didn't appreciate the number of stairs to get to appartment. Limited kitchen equipment which previous guests had left dirty. Bathroom not clean and some items of furniture needing repair but overall met our needs for a short trip.

- very limited amenities and kitchen equipment - could’ve been cleaner, especially some kitchen equipment shows a lot of wear and tear - the apartment is on the 3rd floor with narrow staircase and no elevator - it’s in the city center, so sometimes parking might be difficult

It would be great if there is a clear instruction of the Wi-Fi. For international travelers, sometime the first thing they are looking for is the Wi-Fi in the house.

Amazing location close to everything downtown but just far enough away from bars and restaurants so it was quiet at night. Kitchen with everything you need to make meals. Great balcony, TV, and music. Very homey and comfortable.

The location is central. It is near restaurants, shops, and a parking garage.
