Great location, comfortable beds, short walk to the beach. Just needs a thorough cleaning. We loved our stay at the beach!

Location was great, nice quiet neighborhood. There was no cable as listed, the house wasn't as clean as i would have liked, dirty shower curtain, sticky floors and counters. We usually rent from VACASA, not sure we would use VRBO again. Loved the fireplace and the beds were really comfortable, we loved Depoe Bay

We make spaghetti the first night of our stay. The oven unexpectedly did not work. Son #1 tripped on the uneven flooring by the kitchen requiring a trip to Lincoln City ER for concussion and stitches. Even though the listing says there is sleeping for eight, one of our party of six had to spend the stay on the couch as there was no fourth bed for him. Dishwashing soup was a small tester of Palmolive for a week. There was no shampoo/cream rinse/body wash in the main bathroom. We may look for another VRBO.

Great house, has all you need! Easily sleeps 6 people, might be a bit tight for all to be in the same room at once, though. Walk to the beach is easy and a great little escape from the sand to let your fur baby shake off all their play before getting back inside. Backyard is great for relaxing with a firepit to keep you warm in the winter. Everything worked great, though the heater was hard to figure out and at times would either be too hot or too cold.

This is truly a wonderful little gem that is super accessible to the beach, nearby towns, and other sightseeing. It is on the smaller side and the "3rd bedroom" with the queen and sleeper sofa is actually the loft area upstairs and connects directly to the 2nd bedroom. It didn't bother us at all but wanted to point it out since it wasn't entirely clear in the initial photos.

Comfy stay during a rainy weekend
Clean unit and stocked with plenty of towels and plenty of kitchen utensils. Electrical outlet in kitchen couldn’t handle both the coffee pot and toaster to be plugged in together and it shorted twice (on wall with stove/oven). Wasn’t a big enough deal to get management involved. One full bath (downstairs) and a half bath upstairs. You could technically use the outdoor shower for bathing. Lots of games to play and movies to watch. Comfortable furniture in the living room. We were quite cozy with the fireplace going all weekend while it rained. There is not a central heating system in this home, just an overhead heater downstairs near the front door. A fan upstairs helped distribute heat to the upstairs from the downstairs heater. I appreciated the plentiful everyday items (napkins, tp, soap, coffee filters, etc) provided. Upstairs bedroom memory foam bed was the best. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again given the opportunity.

Older home decorated nice
Coral Cottage is rustic, decorated nicely for older home, some issues to be corrected, lockbox could not close, had to leave key on table after locking up, only one bathroom, 2 toilets one shower/tub, no grater, all other items included in full kitchen, pillows comfortable, plenty of sleeping arrangements. My twin and our spouses enjoyed our stay, able to get food arrangements ready for wedding reception in Lincoln City. Able to sleep between hectic wedding for my twin’s daughter.

Just on the other side of 101 is Chester's Markets, a well maintained and well stocked grocery store. We were unfamiliar with the Oregon coast and spent our time walking the beach, exploring the various state parks, and hiking at Cape Perpetua. Mornings were chilly and we had two days with some rain, but the cottage fireplace and heater kept us cozy. All in all it was perfect for us, and if we’re ever back in the area we would love to stay again!

The condition of the cottage was as advertised. The driveway length served us well as we had a couple of vehicles and a boat and all fit in the driveway.
The reason I rated the property management company a 2/5 is that we were called less than an hour from the property and told the cottage was not cleaned yet and to delay our arrival by 2 hours. We were driving from Bend, OR and had timed our arrival for the check in time. Only when I complained about the cost of the cottage per hour and having to sit somewhere and wait for cleaning did the property management person offer a slight refund for our inconvenience. Some type of compensation should have been initially offered and I shouldn't have had to bring up the cost issue.

The cottage has wonderful ocean views upstairs and downstairs,coastal decorations. The beds are cozy, except the bedspread in the upstairs bedroom was filthy, covered with dog hair. There was a lot of dog hair around by the living room couches and throw rug.But overall, it was a very nice place to stay, loved the easy walk to the beach.

This home had a small deck facing the ocean (2-3 blocks away) with a little view but you could easily hear the ocean, feel the breeze and it was fun to sit outside. Upper bedroom has a full sized bed and a futon. The futon is not comfortable for an adult. Property manager got us linens for this bed, after a phone call, as none were available. Easily parked 3 cars in long driveway. Home was cleaned nicely. Kitchen sink was clogged day 1 but property manager got a roto rooter guy out the next day to unclog the sink.

This property is in a great location - the only thing good I can say about it. The property was filthy inside and out and something needed repair/attention every place you looked. I wonder when the blankets had last been washed, the upholstered furniture belongs in the trash. The soap dispenser in the dishwasher did not work and explained why there were dirty dishes in the cupboard - finally just threw in a pod rather than attempt to use the dispenser. Multiple building code violations - electrical, legal bedroom and many more. Fencing ready to fall over and propped up with boards. Beautiful large Sitka spruce in back yard had branches that would surely fall on your car during a windstorm. Three bedroom 2 bath description is misleading - the 2nd shower is outside and no shower on the 2nd floor at all Bathroom sink clogged and took a couple of hours to drain. This place is not shabby chic - just plain shabby. A lot of work needs to be done to make this property okay at best.

Lincoln Beach is a great location, only 30 min from Newport and other destinations. And two blocks from the beach. The cost of the rental was really high given a some of the inconvenient features - having to walk outside to get to a second shower area and the need to connect a rolling dishwasher to the kitchen sink which meant that the sink is unusable and the large unit blocks the narrow galley kitchen walkway. Additionally, the hardware and upstairs unit seemed cheaply built. The door knob to the upstairs bedroom immediately fell out with one turn.
When we first arrived we were disappointed to find the house with grime and black dog hair all over and especially noticeable in the downstairs bedroom floor. I was grossed out so wiped down the floors myself. We got in around 7pm and the house was freezing cold and the electric fire stove did not work. We called the first thing in the morning - around 7:30am, but did not get someone to fix the until 3pm. There is another heater right by the stairwell, but all the heat does up to the second floor and did not warm the downstairs living areas.
I don’t typically share feedback when staying at a place, but was disappointed enough that I had to share so others don’t rent this place without knowing all the downfalls.
I gave the property manager one star because when I called to ask for someone to help with the heat. The person who answered the phone was noticeable annoyed to be called at 7:40am - despite offering 24hour service. I had her on speaker and the the other adults staying with me also commented on the rude annoyed tone.
When we first arrived we were disappointed to find the house with grime and black dog hair all over and especially noticeable in the downstairs bedroom floor. I was grossed out so wiped down the floors myself. We got in around 7pm and the house was freezing cold and the electric fire stove did not work. We called the first thing in the morning - around 7:30am, but did not get someone to fix the until 3pm. There is another heater right by the stairwell, but all the heat does up to the second floor and did not warm the downstairs living areas.
I don’t typically share feedback when staying at a place, but was disappointed enough that I had to share so others don’t rent this place without knowing all the downfalls.
I gave the property manager one star because when I called to ask for someone to help with the heat. The person who answered the phone was noticeable annoyed to be called at 7:40am - despite offering 24hour service. I had her on speaker and the the other adults staying with me also commented on the rude annoyed tone.

Two blocks to a 'hidden' beach, cozy layout with gas fireplace and ocean view, this cottage was pleasant and refreshing. Well-stocked kitchen and adjoining dining area were well thought out. Dog-friendly couches in the living room are OK, but perching upstairs to watch the ocean was the best!

This house was owned by my family in the 1960's. The home is much better furnished now and remodeled upstairs. House is still a bit cold, yet it's a beach house and there's heaters. Plenty of room upstairs for adult kids or another family. Good size kitchen with big utility room to unpack. The backyard is a plus. Ocean view from living room window and only 5 minute walk to beach, not 10 as stated. Excellent beach. Great neighborhood for walking. Still fun place when it's rainy. Very close to good restaurants.

Fantastic Getaway!!
This cottage is a great location and cozy place to stay! The cottage is well equipped, especially the kitchen as we cooked all of our meals there. The beds and bedding are clean and comfortable. So easy to walk to and from the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Issue with house cleaning and they sent out a supervisor to inspect. She was polite, listened, observed, and she stayed and thoroughly recleaned entire house while we went out. Our complaint was handled quickly and properly. We had a wonderful time. S’mores in the fire pit, walks and kite flying, shopping at the funky little shops. There was plenty of room for us and we had a wonderful time.

Great place for a family!
Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was within a short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was fully stocked, cute decorations and clean. There were a couple minor issues; no kitchen garbage can, freezer handle loose, and some needed furniture cleaning.

Cute... but.
Great and cute house. I feel as If the bathroom Listng was a little bit off. It said it had two showers, there was only one in the house and the other one was outside on the back porch. We did not notice the second shower outside until our last night there. Only one shower with hot water “in” the house.
The dishwasher situation was a little bit different. There were instructions for it. Instructions were not clear to tell that we had to move/roll the dishwasher to the front of the kitchen sink so that it could be connected to the Faucet in order for it to run. You could not use the sink and the dishwasher at the same time because it was occupied. It was also hard because we did not know when the dishwasher had started or it had ended. Or if it was even working.
There were a couple of little things also, but these two were the major concerns.

Lovely and quiet getaway cottage
We spent a long weekend in this cottage and the five of us loved every minute. The cottage is comfortable, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Fully supplied kitchen (including an awesome coffee maker), so we cooked all of our meals here and even baked some cookies. Easy to settle right in, ocean views from almost every room, and nice quiet neighborhood to walk in and access the beach. Grocery store across the highway and many other options nearby. Great place!
