My fiance and I stayed here for a weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary. This apartment has everything you could ask for. It was very clean and comfortable inside and the deck makes for a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening meal. You can see the ocean from the deck! It's also walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and only a ~20 minute drive from Salem. We loved our stay here!

We loved the location on the public stairway. Lovely neighborhood. Quick walk to restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful deck with a wonderful view.

I am appreciative of the owners detailed description on how to find this property as I probably never would have found it otherwise. It is tucked away on the hillside of a beautiful inlet on the coast. The view of the water and Boston skyline from our balconey/porch was amazing. The setup was perfect for a couple, any more than 2 wouldn't fit well. Was kind of like a mother-in-law suite with a small stove, fridge, and sink. We used the fridge to stash "beverages" and snacks found on our adventure into Boston and Salem. We were unable to catch any of the local food in Swampscott but acess to a lot of good restaurants within 15-20 minutes especially in and around Salem, ones in Boston were a bit farther past the airport. Highly recomend for a weekend/week get away for a couple.

I have family in Swampscott and wanted to be near. This was the perfect location! Super cute neighborhood. You can walk to cafes and restaurants in minutes and take a stroll or jog along the paved sidewalk near the bay. My daughter said the apartment reminded her of a European flat. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It made our visit with family super convenient. Will definitely be staying here again. We are from Texas and aren’t used to Massachusetts winters, so we found the apartment a little cold. Other than that, we had a great stay.

This property was perfect for two people! It’s located right in between Salem, Ma and Boston, Ma., so it was great to be able to explore both in one trip. The property itself was very clean and Ivan was quick to respond to any communications we had. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect for our purpose of a quick girls getaway. Partial view of water and sailboats off the porch. Very quiet area and nieghbors. Property was clean, a fresh coat of paint would make it look better. Ivan is a terrific host, he let us drop off our luggage early while the cleaning crew worked. He also brought us extra towels and paper towel when we requested. We would stay again if we came back to this area.

The place is very nice. It has a great view of water. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Swampscott. We were close enough to do day trips to Salem and Boston.

It was very hot the week we were in Swampscott. The breeze off water was nice and cool. Relaxed on deck.

Ivan's little place is tucked away in a small alcove just a few hundred feet from the shore. Great view to wake up to in the morning and very nice neighborhood worth the evening walk back from dinner or grilling on the deck after a day at nearby Salem. The only downside was the stairs required to get to the apartment but aside from that. A perfect little getaway with easy access to Salem and the Boston area.
