Small and lovely!

The property was amazing. It was right on the beach, the staff was so accommodating and the food was stellar. We loved that the property was small and boutique style because it felt less touristy. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our parents. Our stay exceeded our expectations.

The wifi was spotty, but that was for the entire island. Unfortunately it is not a place you could work remote from, but that is a bonus if you are truly trying to disconnect.

Mawimbi truly has the best beach on Holbox. I enjoyed breakfast every morning and speaking with the friendly staff everyday. There are more than enough seating options on the beach to choose from and I love the vibe of it being a smaller hotel. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We booked a room with a balcony but no view and I'd say I'd probably be just as happy paying less for a room with no balcony since the beach is literally steps from your room. Also great location to walk to the center of town. Can not wait to return again.

The beach is noisy from bars on both sides of the hotel up and down the beach but of course Mawimbi can not help that. Everything else was perfect!

The breakfast was fantastic as was the location, right on the beach. The room was bigger than we needed, but we knew that when we booked as it was the only room available. The shower was awesome! We would stay here again and again and again. Absolutely amazing!

We didn’t like the same guests “saving” the best beach beds every single day, but that has nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with entitled people.

Super nice and cozy hotel with individual touch run by lovely staff. Best beach section on whole Holbox island, which is very well maintained. The bar serves delicious food and drinks. Hotel room was big and clean with nice attention to detail.

Miwimbi is an amazing hotel. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The food and service Exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, in walking distance to everything but not in town.

There is very spotty internet, but they tell you this, and you are not there to be online.

Breakfast was excellent and so fresh every day!!

Location was great, breakfast was amazing, best beach

Had a great two nights stay. I stayed in room Tortuga which is small, but comfortable and has its own great size terrace. The staff were friendly and attentive. The property is in a great location situated on the beach with a wonderful palm lined view. Lots of chairs/lounges and close to center of town. You can walk (approx 10 mins) from to/from the ferry to the hotel if you don't have a lot of luggage and streets are dry. I highly recommend and will likely stay again!

Could have better breakfast options for the included breakfast, but I did still enjoy the breakfast!
