Very nice, sunny, easily found with a handy parking building nearby. Super close to the big Notre Dame Catheral and its multitude of great cafes and restaurants. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, only 10-15 mins to train station when we were leaving. The bonus was a great little baker across the road for our bread & pastries - could smell the gentle waft of them in the early morning as the smell drifted in our bedroom window - yum!!

Stairs were steep and tight but this is very typical for accomodation in old towns. A small oversight I'm sure but there was no toilet paper in the main upstairs bathroom and only a small amount left in bottom toilet so it was necessary to immediately go out and buy some. Also kitchen soap dispenser was empty, both minor things. However the downstairs toilet seat is broken and was already broken on arrival, owners would have known that. The main problem happened when we used the shower, it leaked through the lounge ceiling. We put out a plastic bowl and lots of towels so no further damage except the ceiling. We emailed the owners (we didn't have a phone we could ring a French number on) but to this day we have never heard back. I hope they get it sorted because the apartment is great
