Beautiful place for some quiet time away

My husband and I enjoyed a couple of days at the A-Frame Lake House. Great place for a small number of people. The house was cute and comfortably furnished - the king size bed in the master was fabulous! The kitchen was generously supplied with coffee pods and creamers for the Keurig as well as other kitchen equipment and supplies including plenty of dishwasher pods. There were bathroom essentials if you forgot yours, and laundry supplies to wash your clothes as you come in from the lake.
The crown jewel, however, is the backyard. The deck is fabulous whether you’re having coffee in the morning while watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds sing, or taking in the spectacular sunsets across the water in the evening! The backyard is huge and well manicured, great for kids and pets alike. The yard is fully fenced, however, the gate to the dock needs one more crossbar to be more secure. Great dock, my husband caught two nice catfish in a short amount of time. Night crawlers were even provided!
Ladonna was a very gracious host, providing a nice welcome letter and clear instructions, and was very quick to respond to us. I highly recommend the A-Frame Lake House and hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect get away with superb TLC and lots of special touches. An easy, laid back place for relaxation any time of the year. Bring some bug spray though, as there were an abundance of lake flies (not sure what they were but that’s what we called them).

This is our third Easter at Cedar Creek Lake and third property to stay in. This views from the back deck on this place can not be beat! It was stunning. The property is older, but very well maintained and stocked. The best stocked property we have ever stayed in; don't worry if you forget something, it's more than likely already there! The location was great; easy and quick to find. The dock area was fantastic and we spent the whole day out there. Swimming, fishing, enjoying the views. Thank you for creating such an oasis!

We had such a nice time at this property. We stayed for a week for spring break (my husband is a teacher). A few notable things:
I worked from there for two days. I had no problems with WiFi, including Teams calls (though I didn't try videoconferencing). My husband also had no issue while grading student assignments.
Our dog adored the large fenced yard. The large back yard overlooks the lake, and it is gorgeous. We loved being out there. It was a reasonably secure environment for our large dog who wants to escape but also doesn't want to swim. If you have a dog that wants to jump in the water to make an escape it may not work for you, but it worked well for us. There was one spot on the bottom edge of one part of the fenceline that needed attention, but speaking with the property owners I have every confidence it will be addressed long before you book a visit.
The property was so well-stocked! There were K-cups, S'more makings, frozen treats, bait for fishing, abundant high-quality toilet paper, a wide variety of seasonings ... too many things to list. It was great.
Having a king-sized bed is a must for me and my husband, and the king bed in the master bedroom is a gem. My husband has restless leg syndrome so I am miserable if a bed shakes; this wasn't an issue. It is softer than we were used to but clearly a good quality mattress.
The property shows a bit of wear, but that in no way affects its function or detracts from the beautiful location. We loved it!

Our stay @ the lake house was the best, The place had plenty of everything you needed for your enjoyment.They had all the spices for a cookout, plenty of games for entertainment everything you’ll ever need and some. LaDonna you’re the best host ever. My family of 8 had plenty of room and we’re already trying to see when the next time we can come back to this beautiful, peaceful lovely place because it was the best cabin we ever stayed at.

This is our second time staying and LaDonna is the best hostess! She allowed us to check in early and everything was exactly as expected. You can't beat the views and it was so nice to relax for 4 days.

My husband and I rented this property for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house is clean and EXCEPTIONALLY well stocked. There is plenty of parking if needed and the lake views are incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the evening sunsets, cooking meals, drinking wine by the fire pit and going for walks and runs in the neighborhood. We also loved the fenced yard for our Labrador retriever. She enjoyed exploring the yard and swimming in the lake. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided clear information on the property. I highly recommend this property!

This house was so great! Fit all 4 of us and two dogs comfortably. House was fully fenced in with plenty of room for the dogs to run and the host had everything we needed. It was the perfect family vacation spot and we would LOVE to stay again and again

Peaceful getaway
We stayed here for a high school fishing tournament and everything was perfect! We had plenty of room for the boats and the boat ramps are just a short distance away. They thought of everything and the sunrise and sunset is beautiful from the porch or the couch! My crew really loved the fully stocked coffee bar! The beds are all really comfortable! All in all this place is in a great location and everything the town has to offer is just a short distance away. If we are ever back on this lake this is where we will stay!

Great Stay! Awesome view and all the little touches!
Beautiful home and backyard that leads right to the water! We loved that the back wall is all windows so you have a great view of the lake inside the home and out. Two areas for a fire pit and great deck to fish off of or hang out on (we tanned on the deck in the day and fished at night!). Floats and kayaks were available to use and we used both! We stayed in October and the water was a bit chilly but it was great to have the floats and kayaks included. When we arrived I told my husband we forgot the fishing poles and bait to fish with and there were poles in the closet and bait left for us in the fridge! I was just so impressed by this, it made it feel like the host really thought of everything!. We also got a cute welcome bag with everything we needed to make s'mores which was also so thoughtful. The dogs were welcome, which is a must for us when booking, and they loved it too. They just lounged in the yard all day and played with the neighbor's pups too! Linens, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy too. Can't say enough good things about the place, we will definitely be back and bring the rest of our family! Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Construction next door
House was fine and clean but there was construction next door. They were cutting down and burning trees. The noise, smoke and ashes were so bad we couldn’t even set outside. We left a day early. Owner was apologetic and offered us a free night if we come again.

Beautiful sunsets!
This house faces west and we had amazing sunsets - especially after a thunderstorm moved through. If I could give the "communication with property manager" question more than 5 stars, I would - very responsive and a ton of detail provided!

Perfect for our Spring Break
My family wanted a quiet place to enjoy spring break and they needed water. We were lucky to find this spot right on the lake to relax and unwind.
The kids played on the lake while we watched from the balcony or the dock.
The windows are wonderful and the unobstructed view, simply beautiful. We are in love with the sunsets!
House was well equipped (beyond expectations) and there was a generous amount of linens.
We took our sweet old dog and she was safe to run around and explore the yard as the fence is secure and safe.
My favourite thing inside the house was the sign in the bathroom.
I will DEFINATELY be returning soon. ❤️

Wow! Beautiful location and home.
What a lovely place, we could not have chosen better. Wonderful communication with owner and manager. They were so quick to get our dock lights on when we could not figure out. We are not the most mechanically inclined women. Everything you need and more for cooking! We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our only negative was we had to leave the stunning sunsets! Thank you, we will return (very soon we hope).

Great find
We rented this lake house to celebrate our son's 18th birthday. My husband and son love fishing and trying out new lakes. The house was perfect, the dock was close and the view was just beautiful. I loved all the windows, our daughter loved the jetted tub. The guys caught plenty of catfish. We would definitely rent this place again. I am thankful we found this place.

We have stayed in many rental vacation homes. This one was most well stocked by far and what is there is nice quality too! It made our stay that much more comfortable. The location was awesome and we look forward to returning in the summer time!

Just as wonderful as the first stay
This was our second time to stay at the lakehouse the weekend and days leading up to Thanksgiving. The weather was great, and we enjoyed our time outside with a fire and lots of fishing. The house has everything you need. We cooked several meals and watched shows in the evenings. All the beds are comfortable and everyone slept great. Wonderful place for families and friends! (The fenced yard makes it great for furry friends too!)

House is lovely, clean and has everything you’d need. Convenient location is very close to stores and restaurants but far away enough to live the lake life. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Our dogs loved the big fenced yard. The sunsets were beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Great location for what we needed
The house and property was just what we needed to attend a wedding of a friend. The house had everything you would need and was well kept up. The only comment I would make that would have made it better is to use unscented soap for the laundry. The sheets had a very fragrant smell and some of us have allergies.

Great View
This property was excellent. It was very clean and well stocked. There is a nice view of the lake, and sunsets. The water is shallow enough around the dock for adult swimming and the lake has a nice clean sandy bottom by the dock. I highly recommend this property.

This by far was one of the best stays via VRBO. We've stayed in a lot of different ones, but this place was clean, had more then enough stuff to ensure a happy stay, and having access to the boat dock made having a boat so much easier to enjoy. GREAT place to stay
Where do I start? This house was everything we needed and then some. I’ve never felt so comfortable away from home. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING! Prime location right on the water, lots of “toys” (kayaks, fishing poles, worms, etc), and a fire pit for after dark. When we were ready to call it a night, there was a sectional sofa for the 3 of us to watch a movie as a family. The beds were comfy with great linens and pillows. There were more than enough towels, extra blankets, and an assortment of toiletries provided. There was even laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided, so we could wash our dirty laundry on the morning of departure, and head home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. The host was very welcoming and responsive to my messages. I really can’t say enough great things about this place. On our last night, we sat on the dock comparing calendars trying to figure out when we can book this property again. The worst part of the trip was packing up the car to leave. None of us were ready to go.

Spring Break
We had a great time staying here. The dock is awesome! We sat out there and enjoyed the table and chairs and it was great docking my boat up. We used the fire ring and had smores down at the water. Internet worked good as college kids had to do some school work.
Close to restaurants and shopping needs.
Would reccomend this place for your next lake visit.
