The studio apartment was modern and fully equipped for our needs. They even had coffee, and some drinks in the fridge for our arrival. We loved the small balcony where we sat for breakfast, and for lunch when we were home. We were close to many fine restaurants and the fun lolo barbecue ones. There was a bakery around the corner where we bought our baguette for breakfast/and or lunch. We felt safe.

The beach right by the hotel was not too appealing. We walked to one only about 10 minutes away a little north of town and it was great.

Thiebold is a lovely host and met us at our arranged time to get the keys. It's a great little mini hotel with well appointed rooms on the Main Street in Grand Case. Very comfortable bed and the room was very sound proofed from road noise. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was great! The only recommendation I would make is to provide robes. After showering it's nice to just chill and dry off and relax without having to get dressed right away.

Amaury graciously met me upon arrival to walk me through the property, gave me details on the neighborhood, and exchange the keys. The apartment was very spacious with a perfectly equipped kitchenette and gorgeous bathroom, centrally located (or a short walk from everything I needed) and literally across the street from the beach. Bonus: Amaury and his brother own the delicious restaurant below the apartments. I'm already planning a return visit to SXM and look forward to staying at Sunshine Studios again.

The location was excellent -- as was the friendly, super-flexible and gracious hospitality shown by the two owners. LOVED it -- can't wait to stay there again!

Studios here are very clean and well mentained. Good position for Tuesday parades, close to restaurants.

A little bit too noisy. Right in the middle of Grand Case, close to the beach but no view of it, noisy till midnight because this is the main comercial road.
