The setting was a delight, the house has been superbly restored, our room was comfortable, we loved the pool, enjoyed our breakfasts and appreciated the lovely views across the valley. We were made welcome from the start and were always well looked after.

Andrea is an exceptional host and the property is a little gem. Fabulous breakfast choices and more food than we could eat. Pool area was great and wonderful views of a beautiful area. Restaurant recommendations and bookings were looked after by our more than generous host!!

Everything I promise it was perfect. The bed is so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, Barbara’s baking is so good. I cannot wait to come back.

The property is beautiful, very well kept. comfortable room and beds, great pool and very attentive hosts. Andrea and Barbara tried their outmost best to make us feel comfortable and welcomed, with Andrea’s super recommended restaurants and Barbara’s many efforts with gluten free dishes every morning. We stayed at Podere Fontanino for 4 nights on an Italian road trip. We liked everything about this special place. Andrea and Barbara are the perfect hosts. They speak good English which was good because my Italian is poor. They are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Barbara is a wonderful baker - the food that she produces for the wonderful breakfasts is amazing. The grounds of the property are lovely and relaxing, with a fantastic infinity pool with perfect views across Tuscan hills. Andrea would love to have more people from the UK visit Arezzo and his lovely place. We certainly hope to return one day.

We enjoyed an exceptional holiday at Podere Fontanino. The owners are always available, have great suggestions for restaurants and trips, and are very kind and considerate, always trying to answer any questions, looking after their guests and fulfilling their wishes. We very much enjoyed this personal atmosphere. The property is big and luxurious, the pool with its bar a fantastic asset and breakfast is absolutely delicious, with homemade sweets and savouries. The location is ideal, too - there are no neighbours and the panoramic view from the infinity pool is spectacular. At the same time it‘s only a 10-min drive to beautiful Arezzo, which is very convenient. We‘ve had a wonderful time at Podere Fontanino and will certainly come back. A big thank you to the owners!

The place is absolutely beautiful through and through. The view is amazing and the rooms beautiful. Pool area with the bar was most relaxing. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel special. Andrea gave us tips to places to visit and restaurants and made sure everything ran smoothly every day.

Podere Fontanino was truly special. The location is beautiful and a short drive away from Arezzo. Breakfast was divine every day and the pool with the views and bar perfect. I highly recommend this. Much more special than any 5 star hotel. Thank you Andrea and Barbara.

The view was amazing, the pool was amazing. My kids adored the chocolate cake. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, the delicious home made specialties. Andrea and Barbara were very nice people. You took good care of us.

Andrea the host was very kind and helpful to make your stay as good as it should be. The room was comfortable and the view from the pool amazing. the breakfast was perfect, nothing extra to wish for.

The service, the breakfast and all the facilities were great. Andrea is a great host. We travelled with our 3 age little boy and he was the happiest of the family. It is close to Arezzo, Cortona even to Siena .. Very ideal location to travel around..

The accommodations were wonderful. The room was very comfortable and inviting. The proprietor and his wife are very welcoming and most helpful.

The minute we arrived the owner was ready to give us a glass of very good wine, some bread, and some coldcuts. He recommended terrific restaurants right nearby; we tried two - the closest one makes fabulous pizza, and the one that's a km away serves amazing meats. The breakfast was far more than we could hope to eat and had every kind of breakfast food you could ask for. The hosts made their own pies and cakes and there were typically four of them each breakfast. All foods that are available locally are sourced locally from organic sources - only the oranges used for fresh-squeezed juice came from outside Tuscany. The host speaks English well and was very helpful suggesting places to go - we would not have seen the Roman bridge without his recommendation. Even the parking lot he suggested we use in the city was perfectly located, The place is about ten minutes south of Arezzo center in a semi-rural area surrounded by beautiful hills - its a calm and serene place to relax after a day's driving or museuming, This B&B is a great value for the price.

As we were ready to leave, the owner asked us sincerely what he could do to make our stay better, and we hemmed and hawed and scratched our heads trying to think of something to improve, but we really couldn't think of anything that was within the realm of reason.

The ideal place to experience the real Tuscany without the crowds of tourists and yet ideally situated to reach the places of interest within short time.

The room was sparkling clean with unique design and a lot of attention to details. The infinity pool has incredible views over the hills. The breakfast is something special with a lot of surprises each morning: local dishes and homemade cakes. But what makes this place so great is the host, who is very responsive, friendly and happy to welcome you and to offer suggestions during your stay. Perfect accommodation if you want to visit Tuscany.

Everything was just on point. Andrea is such an amazing host and you can immediately tell that he manages this property with love and passion. Location and atmosphere are great.

The only thing i did not like was that i could stay there only one day because it was fully booked. I would have loved to stay one extra night!!

We visited a lot of places in Toscany but this place is pure amazing! Owners are so nice and kind, truly hard workers who created a special place. Breakfast is so delicious, I recommended carrot and chocolate cake ☺️ Thank you for this experienece and great tour guide! We definitely coming back 🤌

The house was beautifully restored. You can see the love in the details. The garden is so peaceful and has an amazing view of the valley. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits, cakes, homemade bread etc. Andrea and his family are super nice and they welcomed, treated and spoiled us as family. They even invited us to a home-cooked meal and pizza from their own pizza oven. Whenever we had a question (of where to go, where to park etc.), Andrea helped us immediately. We could not imagine a more perfect stay and we will definitely return.

This is a lovely property set in beautiful surroundings with a gorgeous infinity pool. It’s small capacity is real plus making the experience more intimate. Andrea and Barbera were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as special as possible!
