The Center and the lodge are in the forest and the wild animals are your neighbours. We really enjoyed watching them. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great. You can also book Lunch and Dinner - I heard it was also very good.

We just spent 4 days/4 nights at the lodge and it was simply fantastic!! What an amazing place!!! We had the top room and the view was outstanding!! Loved the sounds of Nature!! Scarlet Macaws, Howler Monkeys, countless birds...a dream! The breakfast was served on the deck every morning and we had something different every day. We will be back!! It was super interesting to learn and see the Rescue Center as well. Pool was wonderful too....

This place is x-tra! Make sure to book yourself a plus night - we sure wish we had. Stunning views, calm atmosphere, wonderful pool and aras - what's not to like. Also there is netflix in the room, if you're feeling indoorsy as well. We also enjoyed the nearby town of Montezuma for going out with a beautiful beach and some whole foods/organic restaurant. Do try out the 'sano banano' :) Breakfast and dinner at the inn was also delicious and fresh and the meals varied from day to day.

Breakfast was very good, helpful staff and very nice hotel with an amazing swimming pool, highly recommended! We also saw many wild animals which is what we were looking for, very special! It is in a remote location so be aware of that if you plan on visiting other places although Montezuma is very close and easy to reach

The bed and bed sheets were super dirty, with stains and dirt all over them. I would have also liked to see more of the animals in the rescue center, although it is fair to ask that we keep distance, the guy was showing us photos of the animals instead of taking us a where we could see them

Amazing !! Staff and volunteers are welcoming and knowledgeable . Your stay helps support the cause. These young people are genuinely saving the planet. Cabuya is a beautiful fishing village . If you love nature and delicious food , stay .. you won’t want to leave .

The wonderful setting amidst fantastic wildlife. The scarlet macaws, howler monkeys, whitehead monkeys, iguana's. All this out of our very comfortable room with terrace. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

Nothing we complain about. The last part of the road getting there was due to severe rainfall a challenge, but we managed, making this part of the fun.

we stayed because we wen’ges to support rescue center. however, it’s really just a stay. rooms are spacious and clean. but you are in the middle of jungle, so a lot of mosquitoes, ants bugs, etc. breakfast is good but it starts at 8am, which is really late for Costa Rica. also, there’s not much to do in the hotel, so it’s kinda waste of time a bit to wake up at 5-6am and wait till 8am till breakfast, because at 9am theirs a tour around the rescue center. you do wake up so early from all the jungle noises around you, so not really an option to sleep in lol

you really do need a 4x4 to get to the hotel! the road was so bad that we had to leave our car in the city and get a taxi. we were told that the roads got washed away a week prior to our arrival. while we were there it didn’t rain much and we were able to get to the hotel by our car but it’s a messy road! which is really unfortunate, because hotel is generally speaking not too bad!

The setting was amazing, we were right in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was refreshing & the tour was so interesting.

Everything was amazing. They made a special and delicious breakfast for me every morning as I’m vegan and the space is just perfect. it was a pleasure to support such an amazing project

The most incredible place! Rooms: big, clean, new, hot water, goof wifi, tv with netflix, good air cobdition. Location: in the middle of the forest, you can see and hear the wildlife, quiet, special. Staff: the best, great service. One word: perfect.

Sublime and exceptional setting in the wilderness ! Breathtaking views over the forest and so many wild animals ! We really enjoyed the tour of the facilities as well. Great contact with the hosts when we arrived We had such a great time hanging by the pool

Breakfast was unfortunately not very good and held at 8.15 sharp (not possible earlier) on plastic chairs underneath a "tent" Volunteers of the center (22 people in total) hang around a lot at the pool during their free time and though they are not especially noisy, they are not particularly friendly either The pool is very enjoyable but the water does not seem very clean Overall the value for money is not great but you are participating in a project for the animals...

The over abundance of wild life. Like a tree house in the jungle.

Both nights many many bugs were on the floor, walls, and bed.

We took the premium accommodation which had an amazing view and great wildlife around the place ( aras flying every day by our balcony and around the pool, the tiny bats mounted on the tree by our bathroom, the wild Congo monkey shouts and cigales made the experience awesome). it was our best jungle accommodation during our stay. We chose this hotel for it’s a rescue center and we wanted to help this project ( aras’ reinsertion, caring for orphan monkeys,…). The pool was welcoming after a long journey or hike.

we did not find the atmosphere very engaging. The staff was doing the job but a little more would have been expected for the price: emptying the bin of the toilets ( we stayed 3 nights and not changed once - in Costa Rica, you do not throw toilet paper down the flush but in the bin). The volunteers do not smile nor say hello to guests which makes us feel unwelcome when the rentals are paying for 50% of the project. It may be good to remind them this point so the visitors do feel appreciated, especially for the price paid.

A wonderful place to stay to get back to nature, none of the crowds of Santa teresa . A surprisingly nice set of rooms and extremely friendly and great service. Breakfast is served to your room where you can sit and watch the Lapas fly around as. you watch the sunrise over the gulf.

Everything about this place was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend it. We had just come from Tabacon Thermal Springs Resort (stayed at the hotel) and while the Springs are out of this world, glorious and incomparable to anything, I actually enjoyed my stay at Jungle Lodge more. :) Elizabeth and Jeremy were so kind, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfy and accommodated meals to meet our schedule - a bit outside of theirs. The wildlife ..right there!! Howlers and Capuchin, Scarlet Macaws, deer, Loads of other birds, bats, hummingbirds, rufous necked wood rail, and some other lovely guests we met there, saw Humpbacks cruising back on the ocean vista horizon with their binoculars. All was just incredible. We really loved our stay here. The room was clean, airy, spacious and comfy. Loved our bathroom too! The staff was lovely and helpful. Food was great and tasty. Pool was great and refreshing too. View and vibe was perfect. ..and those Howler monkeys with their wake up call! Wow. Loved it all! Thank you so much Jeremy and Elizabeth!

We had to leave after 3 days :( We will come back and I've already recommended it to so many. One little upgrade splurge would be adding a few more soft, not so thick pillows to make the sleep better. Minor and not critical. All was lovely. Thank you!

A highlight of our trip. Waking up at sunrise hearing jungle waking up was phenomenal.
