Lovely village location. Property quite clean( a few cobwebs) but overall good. Plenty of plates/cutlery.

Single bed mattresses not as comfortable as the doubles.

The property is in a charming location, and we had a friendly personal welcome. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The property was spacious and well appointed with everything we needed to make a comfortable stay. It was very clean and tidy and was a short walk away from a well stocked village store. The walking around the village is easy and very attractive. It is also only a short drive away from the WWT at Slimbridge so is very convenient.

The stairs to the apartment are quite steep so needed to take care. The parking was always possible on the street but did vary where you could find a space. A dish washer would have been nice, but not essential. The heating is mainly electric storage heaters which I personally always find tricky, as they provide too much heat in the morning and too cool by evening, but can be boosted by electric convection heaters in living room,( unfortunately rather noisy.)

Both the hostess and the accommodation were lovely, the village is picturesque and all in all it was a lovely stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was a real home from home with lots of space for all of the family. Lovely host.
