Pool, location and home layout

We found the home to be just as described! Homey and comfortable, with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location is perfect; on a very quiet street, yet close to everything 30A has to offer. Using the included golf cart, we were just a short ride to numerous highly rated eateries, as well as a five minute ride away from both the Publix and the Tom Thumb convenience store/gas station for ice and beverages. The pool and spa were perfect, with the screened enclosure keeping us bug free the entire time! Something we didn’t even think to look for, but after many other beach trips spent shooing away flies and June bugs, I can’t tell you what an advantage this was! There was so much space for everyone, and TVs in every room so no family entertainment fights! The arcade system on the tv in the side den was so fun, we had hundreds of games to choose from. We will definitely be back for another stay at Barefoot Bliss, I highly recommend it!

Lots of extras for the beach and cooking. If you are looking for a guest house/cottage this not it. This room is over a one car garage and was small with a tiny bathroom. TV and refrigerator in the room didn't work either. Nice pool but no lights in the pool; only two small light outside the master bedroom doors so we couldn't enjoy the patio or pool after 7:15 when it got dark.

The house is very lovely--well kept, nice furnishings, great outdoor space. The location is a short walk to the beach and easy to get to all the 30A stuff. It's also just far enough off the main road that it's very quiet. The inclusion of the golf cart and bikes is another great touch. Two families stayed here together, and we could've added a third very easily. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

The house is nice & big for a family vacation. The property needs lots of maintenance and landscaping. The house was not very clean...we had to sweep the floors in the bathroom (all) there was hair left in all of them. The cottage had not been mopped in weeks. Everything needs a good cleaning there was dust on all furniture, bed posts, & everything smelled musty. The kitchen backdrop was so greasy & stuff stuck to it.
Not happy with the cleaning at all. There were 3 huge roaches we had to kill upstairs.

We had a few issues with the cleanliness of some of the towels and bed sheets but the property management was very quick to address and fix everything. The response was immediate. Everything else was wonderful! The space was perfect for our family. This was our second stay and probably will not be our last!

The grill was also covered in mold.

This house is amazing. Loved almost everything about it. There was a learning curve for everyone with the pool/door alarms, but not too bad. Very clean and comfortable house. Plenty of room for all of us to hang together and also have our space.

Great place for a family reunion. We were six and all felt very comfortable with plenty of space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the golf cart was a big plus in the beach town. We needed a few little things taken care of and maintenance was there both times within an hour to fix them. Would rent again if in the area.

Wow! What an amazing property, just as described on VRBO. There were four moms and six teens. We stuck the girls in the bunk room and had plenty of room inside the house for each mom to have her own space. Plenty of entertaining space inside and the couch was so soft and comfortable. Enjoyed the Sonos sound bar for some inside dance shenanigans. The pool and hot tub and outdoor space was perfect. Golf cart and four bikes were an added bonus, but it was an easy walk to the beach without the golf cart. The weather in October was perfect, crowds at a minimum. Seaside not too far to get to (we walked one day, but realized bike/golf cart made more sense). The only issue was some miscommunication about prepaying for pool heat (they sent maintenance out to turn it on for us). Could have used more basics in the house (spices, additional trash bags), but overall, the house was spectacular and made my daughter's 18th birthday wishes come true. Would stay here again 100%.

Everything about our stay at Barefoot Bliss was delightful. Five adults, two teenagers, and an infant had more than enough room …and plenty of privacy. The house is beautifully decorated , and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. We found the golf cart to be great fun and useful for shopping and dining, but we we preferred to walk to the beach as it really is not far,
The screen covering the pool keeps out leaves (and bugs) but let’s all of the sunshine in. It was sparkling clean!! Vacasa was always ready to answer questions and help out in any way. All in all, our vacation was amazing. Can’t wait to return to this property. I highly recommend!

Great place for a family getaway
Quiet street with no parties. Great for families. Large pool, bikes, golf cart, Roku and gaming system. Comfortable for a large group with a separate carriage house for someone who wants more privacy. Very clean and well equipped. Great stay!

Great place for a family vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Bliss. The home was very clean and check in process a breeze. We enjoyed the pool and the large family room in the evening. The beach was a short golf cart ride away and Seagrove/Watercolor not far on bikes. We'll definitely consider staying here again next spring break.

This was a beautiful home to stay in. My family loved it. Only suggestion I would have would be to update patio furniture and be a pet friendly place as we think of our dogs as family.

Gorgeous property
This home was very spacious and close enough to the beach and down town seaside. Everyone had plenty of space as well as privacy. It was hard for all of us to play games together or relax together, but it was not a deal breaker. The pictures do not do it justice at all.
Some issues we had, the pool overflowed during one of the rains and we had to have maintenance called several times because the sauna and lights would not work. We had about 4 nights that we could not swim as we did not feel comfortable swimming without lights at night. The patio lights were not sufficient for night swimming. Maintenance was not able to fix the issue while we were there.
The cottage shower leaked every time someone showered. So we had drenched towels every day from that. The maintenance guys said they were aware of that issue already but we did not get a heads up and it did not seem like it was going to fixed while we were there. Which is understandable. It was more of a pain than anything.
We truly did like the property and close proximity to everything. As long as those items are fixed, we would totally book again in the future.
The bikes and golf cart were a huuuuuuge plus.

This was our third time renting in the area, having previously rented in Watercolor, and this home was a better in every way. We thought we might miss the resort amenities offered with a Watercolor rental, but we didn't at all. What a find!

Great Family Vacation Spot
Pool was wonderful as well as the Jacuzzi. Short walk or bike ride to the beach.( Although it is not handicap accessible). The town of Sea View had Air Stream little restaurants to get a quick meal and dine outside. Golf cart was enjoyed by all!

Wonderful home, very nice details and FULLY stocked for everything!
I would have given it a 5 star overall but the pool heater was not working and the spa wasn't working either. It apparently was not working the week before as well and they were waiting for workmen. That is all fine but I feel that I should have been notified ahead of time that those amenities were not available, as those were one of the reasons we chose this house.

We loved the house! It accommodated our family well. We had to leave early and only got to stay one night due to the hurricane, but I would stay here again. Just check the weather before you go, because there is no refunds, not even a partial refund on this if you have to leave no matter what the circumstances is, even if a hurricane is coming. Still loved!!

Perfectly Appointed
Barefoot Bliss was a perfect getaway for our group! The house had everything we needed (perks like the gourmet appliances, Vitamix for frozen cocktails, chairs, umbrellas, etc.). We did not have pets, but for a “pet friendly” house, there was barely evidence that pets were allowed.

The house was perfect for our group. It met all of our requirements- close to beach, golf cart, great pool and hot tub and separate area for the kids. Wish there was more seating in the living room for everyone to hang out but otherwise it was great!

Nice but pool issues
House is very nice. Good location and the included bikes and golf cart is fantastic. We had major pool issues that kept us out of it for 4-6 hours two days of our 7 day stay due to algae issues and the need to shock the pool. Disappointed because we had several people who prefer the pool to the beach. There was also a piece of plastic in the pool area inside the brick that was raised and caused my 75 year old mother to fall at the pool. Luckily it only cut her lip! Would give a great rating for the property if we hadn’t had such a disappointment with the pool

Nice house
Very nice house. Interior was very functional, very clean, and spacious. The appliances were very high quality and all were functional. The cards around the house explaining how things worked were outstanding (something every rental should have). The golf cart and bikes were a nice addition.

Amazing Property
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Barefoot Bliss is in a very quiet neighborhood but just a short golf cart ride away from all the restaurants and beach. Our family of 8 had plenty of room and utilized the heated pool every day. The property is clean and had everything we needed. We had a problem with our golf cart and it was resolved within hours.

Poor Management Company
Overall the house is very nice, great amenities, garage full of sand toys, golf cart and bikes. Excellent location! Our concerns are about the cleanliness of the home. Upon arrival we had a white substance on our bed duvet, the floors were full of dog hair and sand, stains on some of the other bed linens and a bowl of Mac n cheese in the microwave that wasn’t ours! We were told we’d receive a credit for having to deal with the white mystery stain on the bed duvet but haven’t received a credit. The icing on the cake was the pool chemicals were off, the pool guy had to shock the pool to get it right. By then we’d been swimming in the pool for 4 days and 5 people went home with nasty ear infections due to swimming in an inadequately chlorinated pool. Super disappointed about these issues, keeping a clean home to rent isn’t a big request.

This house is awesome. Comfortable, beach chairs, gold cart, pool and hot tub made a perfect touch as we could not get into the ocean for 3 of the 7 days. We will rent again.

Can't say enough good things about Barefoot Bliss! The house was exactly as advertised and the property managers went out of their way to explain the various technology, appliance, pool operations. The pool and hot tub come with a remote to allow you to turn the hot tub on and off, as well as control the lights for the pool. All four bikes were in good working order, as well as the golf cart. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with basically no traffic. From the house to the beach is approximately a 7-10 minute walk. The golf cart was great to take into downtown seaside for dinner. There are multiple Alexa pucks in the house, as well as a Sophos to play music in the living room. Everything worked great, was clean, and made for a perfect vacation. Thank you Barefoot Bliss!!

Quick getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We used the pool/hot tub daily and it was a quick walk ( 5-8) minutes to the beach - which was somewhat secluded. The coffee pot wasn’t working and we couldn’t find the remote to the hot tub BUT we called the property manager and they quickly came out with a new coffee pot and helped locate the remote! Beds are super cozy and property was well maintained. Screened porch was nice for morning coffee in a quite neighborhood. Nice time

House worked great for our family. Easy walk or golf ride to beach. Beach toys, chairs in garage and family games, puzzles in cabinet. Heated pool and screened in patio were perfect. Instacart avaliable for groceries and most restaurants offered pickup. Great vacation house.

This is a super home to rent for bringing a family of several or kids and teen friends. There is a lot of room for everyone to spread out, a great central area for eating, and super squishy pillows for a great night’s rest!

50th Birthday Beach Bash
We stayed at Barefoot Bliss with 3 other couples to celebrate my birthday. The home was perfect. We each had a private bath, the kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance/dish you need, all small appliances available and two refrigerators! We enjoyed the front porch every morning and the heated pool and spa every evening. The golf cart made getting to Seaside a breeze and Publix is SO close! We loved it and would stay there again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Beautiful home, great location, but ....
We very much enjoyed our stay. This home is beautifully decorated, the kitchen was stocked well, and the interior pics are very accurate. it was perfect for our group of 9. The patio furniture and outdoor area need attention. Kids enjoyed the pool even though it was cold. It appeared to keep refilling with cold water possibly due to a leak, so even though it was supposed to be heated, it really never got warm. it would have been nice to discuss the pool alarm in the check in email. It was a bit of a learning curve. The couch and gazebo in back yard was unusable, it was so dirty. The ice maker in the house wasn’t working. The washer would stop mid-cycle but was easily restarted. The golf cart was a huge bonus and the neighborhood was quiet. However, the road to the beach is closed due to bridge construction so be sure to ask if it is reopened, if this matters to you. We have to go out of the way using a temporary road not on the maps to get to beach access. If some of these amenities could be improved, I would have given 5 stars!

House great. Management company slow to fix issues.
House could not have been better! But when golf cart had a flat tire and the pool controls did not work it was hard to reach the management company and the tire issue took 2 days to fix. No information in home about simple things (bike lock combination, garbage pick-up day).
Minor issues to be sure but easily fixed.
