Stunning house in the middle of the mountains. Easy access to all the local villages. House was equipped with EVERYTHING that we needed. We even made use of the barbecue (foukou) on the property. Cannot recommend highly enough. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Evanthia for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

this property is unique in it's way to be traditional and authentic yet modern and comfortable up to nowadays standards as much as possible in the location. it seems that a nice designer skills went into developing this property - i mean everything was great, the layout alone made me want to own a vacation house like this. the inner yard is awesome, the pictures do not serve the truth to how you feel in the space, great architectural work. the village is small and not touristy at all, very cosy, gives you a taste at how locals live, which we appreciated. being a parent that cooks i really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen (i might only add a microwave as i often need to heat smth for the kids) also imho cyprus mountains are much better than cyprus beaches if you can compare, definitely worth visiting, and this location is very convenient - it is just near platres and troodos, which is great in terms of sightseeing

the parking is not obvious to find (i mean in my mind bus stop does not resemble what i saw in the tiniest, one should consider calling the owner before getting to it)), being not very experienced driver i had a hard time maneuvering the village streets as they are pretty narrow and people park so that you have just enough space to pass them by - meaning 10 cm gap to the parked car and to the opposite wall of the street (in the mountain village the edge of your line is a wall...)

Big authentic house, friendly host

There are no heating in the saloon and kitchen. When you come in the morning and in the living room temperature is zero it breakes all food impressions from the place and host. After request we get solution to our problem (kerosine heater) but it still requires supervision, so we can't return to warm house

The host was very polite, always available to talk and explain everything needed for the house. The house had everything we needed: woods for the fireplace, all the toiletries in the bathroom, kitchen facilities, fruits, coffee, Netflix, games, etc.

Very cozy, nice fireplace. The yard is beautiful in the evening when you turn on the lights.

The atmosphere of the house is really cosy, it is tidy and really spacious. Everything was great! Spacious kitchen, spacious rooms and the outdoor space is really lovely, like an indoor garden. The bathrooms were clean, and in general everything was clean.

But, we used the kitchen and the only thing that could be better is the cleanliness of the dishes in the kitchen, but I know there are so many plates to clean and most people might not use it.

I didn't like that it was missing some kitchen supplies as kitchen foil, clean new cloths and sponge for the sink and generally needs more kitchen supplies.

I know the village very well as my father was from this village and all my summer holidays had them there

The lovely hideout in the mountains! The house is very spacious and comfortable, full of inspring traditional decorations. There are everything you might need in the kitchen for BBQ or a tea evevning on a nice shady terrace. We really loved the patio with nice peach trees. It was great to geta cold wine present from the owner. If you're don't mind for a walk - I can recommend you to take a walk around local village and visit local winery. It is a defenetly good place, highly recommend.

Everything was great

A very cozy traditional house with an incredible inner yard. It has an atmosphere we will remember. The hosts were very nice, even left us a bottle of white wine on the table.

Traditional, cute village house, well equipped and maintained, very spacious. Local wine as a welcome gift. WIFI working well. Accessible with a key from a lock box. Public parking lot about 100m away, free of charge.

Actually not really an issue, but the village is more abandoned than we had expected. There are hardly any shops and only 1 restaurant (opened especially for us).

No breakfast - it was an apartment. I liked the space. The location was bleak in that the village is depopulated and there is only one v basic taverna. The local people were v kind.

Gorgeous house with an incredible amount of space and the owner was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and even set us up with a special reservation to eat kleftiko last minute.

Village beautiful but lacking amenities. only one restaurant (very good) and nearest shop 20 mins drive away. Be sure to stock up en route!

Their really isn't anything 'not to like' about this place. It is set in a sleepy beautiful village with everything you need. The accommodation will have you using the 'wow' word The restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. After entering the building first from our group, I had to close the door so my family could experience that first fantastic impression. Like me, they also fell in love with the beauty of the place.

The house was beautiful and looked even better than in the pictures. The hosts were friendly and helpful and thought of everything to make our stay great. We will highly recommend it to all our friends.

Very well appointed and stylish restoration of a traditional village stone house. If you want to really experience village life in simple but comfortable style with mod cons such as wifi then this is the place to be. Even had a nice bottle of local wine waiting for us. Big airy rooms and a lovely very private courtyard garden.

Mosquito's...did not expect these up in the mountains so be prepared.

The house is big, clean and ideal for families. The big stone patio is fantastic ! Ideal place to rest after a day. The village is quiet and with very pleasant neighbors. The hosts are very helpful, they welcomed us, answered all our questions and left for us some food and Proseco wine ! Thank You! From here we can get almost everywhere in South Cyprus: beaches, mountains, vineyards, historical places, event to Cape Greko. Who is bored laying down the whole days on the beach and sleeping in the noisy and crowdy hotels can try something different. I totally recommend this house and the village. But only with the car :)
