This property was nothing short of amazing. The house was beautiful and the scenery was spectacular. The host was very responsive and went the extra mile to make us feel special and welcome. I highly recommend staying here with your friends & family. I can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I just stayed at this beautiful home for the 4th time. We absolutely love this property. It has really nice views of the water and wildlife, and yet it's near the restaurants and stores. It's so comfortable and has everything we need. The owner has always provided excellent communication to us. We're already looking forward to our next vacation there.

The Host is a gem! She has responded to inquires within minutes. The home is taken care of well . The attention to detail was appreciated. Any and all appliances were available including a Keurig and and regular coffee maker. Loved the gas stove with the grill plate. The dining area has a breath taking view of the run off cove. All sorts of birds are coming and going all day long. The gated community is very quiet. You can enjoy two very different options, either the top floor with a cozy baloney and views that extend across Rainbow Lake. The bottom floor is a secluded spot with all sorts of furniture options there for your choosing. The space is open to the shoreline which is steps from the home. It's a treat to be so close to nature.

Everything about the stay was wonderful: the location, the cabin was beautiful, the ownerse were very helpful. My only complaint was that, due to what appears to be an HOA rule, you are not allowed to fish the pond that the cabin is located on. The lake is close, but there was much more fish activity on the pond. I don't recall that being listed in the property listing. Everything else was great, and we plan on returning in the near future. This is a great place for couples and families alike. 5 stars.

This was a beautiful home with a serene setting. The downstairs deck was great for relaxing and viewing the pond. Views from the upstairs windows and deck were pretty amazing as well. Clean and well stocked. My family enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

The home is equipped with all the necessary essentials but also boasts a large selection of kitchen appliances and a pantry to make any foodie happy.
We thank you RuthAnn for providing a beautiful, comfortable home. The location offered a variety of options to enjoy the area; hiking, boating, fishing are all closeby. How amazing it was to see the outside world brought inside looking through the picture window from the dining area. Ducks and Geese, some mysterious creature that swam just under the surface. In addition, we got to enjoy a goose that found the outdoor porch railing to be a fantastic location to announce his presence! It’s going to be fun taking the time to comb through all the photos taken of our time there.
Looking forward to our return in September.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was quiet and private. Great big windows in the dining room to watch the wildlife on the pond. Close to everything! Our best stay in Pinetop!

This was our second visit to this Pinetop-Lakeside home. We were very comfortable in this well-kept house. It has a beautiful view of the pond, pine trees, and Rainbow Lake. It was nice to watch the wildlife and to fish off the dock at Rainbow Lake. We can't wait to stay at this rental again!

We stayed at this property for the 2nd time and are looking forward to going back. It is a very well-kept place with a nice view of the pond, pine trees and Rainbow Lake. We enjoyed watching all of the wildlife and fishing at the dock located on Rainbow Lake. We found it to be very relaxing!

The cabin had everything, and more! The pantry was fully stocked, which was nice to make meals at the cabin. Our kids, 3 and 5, had fun playing with the outdoor games on the bottom patio, as well as the large selection of board games and video games. It was also nice to be able to park inside the garage, because it snowed almost the whole time we were there. I bet this place is beautiful in the spring! Sitting on the patio and watching the ducks from the lake was a nice past time activity as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Nice place. Cost us about the same in fees as it did to stay. We had family stay actually in the lake in another property which was bigger and better location for less overall money. I’d recommend using Vrbo as a last resort.

The Rainbow Lake Retreaat House checks all the boxes. The home is beautiful. The property is in great repair and shpae. The location is spectacular and the overall feeling is one of peace, tranquillity and joy. My wife and I treated our son and duagther-in-law and our 2 grandchildren to a weekend getaway and we all had a magnificent time. You will too.

The perfect relaxing getaway
This amazing stay was as advertised (plus some) the perfect location, relaxing views, the best coffee or cocktail drinking balcony, walking distance to Rainbow Lake (where we kayaked & fished) AND the place - we felt like we were at home, cozy,comfortable, overly stocked kitchen, the bedrooms were cute and comfortable. Ruth Ann, the owner is the sweetest. She messaged us the day of check in to welcome us, left us homemade shea butter with a sweet note and then followed up with a goodbye.

Tranquility at its finest
This property was so relaxing and peaceful, exactly what we needed for our vacation. The owners have provided lots of amenities for your stay, everything from spices and condiments to fishing supplies and bikes. Perfect getaway
Everything about this rental was perfect! The house is gorgeous with an even more gorgeous view of the water. The owner had so many amenities in case you happen to forget anything. We will definitely be renting this again.

Peaceful and private
The house is very nicely decorated and fully stocked with anything one might need. It overlooks a pond below the Rainbow Lake where we watch ducks and geese come and go every day. The whole subdivision of homes is very nice and well kept - gated, too.

Well Stocked, Updated and Clean Home
Well stocked, clean, and updated home, a short walk to Rainbow Lake. Beautiful view of the small duck pond in front. It worked well for two families of four with small children. The outside / yard space is very small, and the home is very close to its neighbors. We never figured out how to access the storage space with bikes and inner tubes, unfortunately.

Pinetop-Lakeside Refuge
We left behind Tucson’s brutal heat wave to enjoy a few days in Pinetop-Lakeside at this delightful pond-side home. The two decks, both facing the pond, allowed us to be outside for the first time in weeks. All the necessary amenities made our stay extremely comfortable, especially the nice king size bed in the MBR. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals after a stop at Safeway, a short distance away. All in all, a perfect getaway for a few heat-weary folks. Thank you, Ruth Ann!

Perfect Getaway Cabin
Perfect getaway. This cabin is absolutely amazing . The view is so beautiful and the upper and lower patio area are perfect. We played games and enjoyed the ambiance around us. Just a short walk to lake and all kinds of fun lake toy rentals. We caught many fish off the shoreline. We all had a fabulous time here.

Perfect in Pinetop
I don’t usually post reviews but this property is absolutely fabulous! The best place we’ve ever stayed in the pines. The house is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay feel just like home. Plus the view of the pond and lake make this the perfect place to enjoy the high country. Ruth Ann has been wonderful, friendly and so much help from the moment our reservation was accepted. We’ve already booked another stay!

A wonderful stay!
What a wonderful stay! This property has easy access to the lake, wonderful views of the pond and lake, not to mention front row seating to the wildlife visiting the pond. It is spacious. There were 8 of us and it fit us all comfortably. It came well equipped, plenty of towels, linens, fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Everything we needed and more. The owner and property manager were also very warm and attentive. Thank you so much for making our trip great! Would love to return in the future!

Mother’s Day Weekend 2020
We had a wonderful 3 night stay! This home has a spectacular view of the lake from the kitchen table as well as from the covered outside deck! It was really relaxing watching the ducks & other wildlife on the lake. We had everything we needed for a special weekend with our family. Thanks!!

Perfect Pines Getaway
I booked this beautiful cabin for a 3 night Spring break getaway with my wife and 3 kids. The location of this neighborhood is perfect, we were within 15 minutes of restaurants, stores and entertainment yet the neighborhood feels secluded.
This cabin is in a small, new neighborhood that is gated and nicely paved which we appreciated due to all of the rain during our visit.
We were impressed with the views from the large picture windows on the back of the cabin and from off the back porch.
The cabin was very clean and well stocked, we were indoors most of our trip due to rain and we found the cabin very comfortable and very much like a home away from home.
This cabin has a beautiful well stocked kitchen, a gas fireplace that we really enjoyed during the winter storms, a nice entertainment center with satellite television, blue ray player with movies and a sound bar. The master bathroom is wonderful with a large walk in shower and a bidet. The beds were comfortable, the master bedroom has a sleep number bed. There were plenty of clean towels and linens.
We have some great memories made at this cabin and hope to return in the summer months to enjoy the warmer weather and take advantage of the amazing lake access.
The communication was seamless from start to finish, I spoke with the owner Ruth Ann several times and with Tamie who was very attentive to every need, both were wonderful to work with.
We have stayed in many vacation rental homes through the years and this cabin is in our top 5. We look forward to staying again.

Loved the location
We really loved the place! The view of the lake and access to it! House so warm and cozy! We really like that anything you need you will find it in the house. Not far from Sunrise ski resort.
We are thinking on renting this lovely place again!
