Kitchen is shared with others. Lovely room with ensuite. Nice pool and the breakfast was great. Staff friendly and went over and above to make our stay special.

Felt like home from the minute I entered. The onboarding process was very smooth with all the steps clearly laid out to enter the estate and the guest house. Wonderful conversation with the family, delicious breakfast, thoughtful snacks, elegant interior design. Su is also very kind and helpful. Great location away from Joberg and closer to several well maintained hikes. It's everything you would expect from a well run family guest house and more.

The need for a code to enter and exit the estate everytime but that is understandable.

Hester has created a phenomenal experience, with a beautiful property, elegant finishes, and extremely capable and professional staff. Small touches throughout our stay made this experience top notch for our stay. Hester was the consummate host with the perfect level of engagement. The guesthouse was perfectly situated close to shopping malls, tourist destinations and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be doing so again the next time we’re in South Africa.

We loved everything about our stay. From the amazing breakfast, to the hospitality and Hester's recommendations for nearby eating/shopping spots. The guest house is very clean and beautiful.

I honestly could not find any fault.

I had a wonderful and relaxing time staying with Hester and Maria – kind and generous hosts who do a great job of taking care of their guests. The guesthouse is a private oasis that overlooks a serene garden and sparkling pool. Situated in a large secure estate, perfect for taking longs walks and bird watching with miles of gorgeously maintained gardens and paths. Inside meticulous care has clearly been taken to provide a luxurious, comfortable and relaxing environment with everything a guest might need, thoughtfully in exactly the right place. All furnishings are high quality and everything is kept very clean on a daily basis. Great internet, generator and a comfortable desk and chair in the room also makes remote work possible. I highly recommend staying at Fleur de Lis guesthouse and am looking forward to my next stay.

There was really nothing that I did not like

Everything was tops, i got lost though the shared location took me to a street before the right one, however i did call Hester and she was willing to assist. I really enjoyed my stay there, keep up the good work Hester and your team. The load shedding arg, however i am glad that Hester organized some lighting and generator to accommodate the load shedding.

We absolutely loved Fleur de Lis! Out of all the guesthouses in this area we have been too, this one is by far the best. Hester and Maria makes you feel so welcome and at home. The room is very luxurious and has everything you need for a night away. Breakfast was out of the ordinary and a pleasant surprise. Would definitely be returning in the future.
