Sun, sand, waves, seashells, raindrops, love and laughter!!! This was our 4th year in this house and we are already booked for next year! The location is great and the views are awesome. Lucky Bag is perfect for all ages from our 17 month old granddaughter to my 86 year old mother. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and decks with plenty of rocking chairs made for a relaxing vacation.

I rented the place for my extended family for a total of 7 adults. The place easily accommodated everyone and dedicated bathroom for all. The quiet street it sits on and out the back door and on to the beach was perfect. The kitchen had just about everything you need for cooking. Ther check in process was seamless. My only critique was 1 roll of paper towels and no beach towels. Regardless I highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our recent stay here! The furnishings were lovely and drew from the coastal environment. Everything was spotless upon arrival. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, and the dual refrigerators are such a great feature! Everything was easy to use and the owners left detailed instructions/notes re: all the amenities - we appreciated that so much! The location/view is wonderful, and the porches are delightful. We already booked our return stay for next year.

TideLife Vacation Rentals was perfect from check-in to check-out. They have excellent communication skills and were most helpful with everything. Renting from TideLife you truly have a vacation and there Is no need to bring toilet paper, bedding or other such items. We loved our rental, Lucky Bag, a walkout to the beach and all the amenities it offers. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was amazing and incredibly well stocked, even for an accomplished cook. Multiple coffee makers helped us keep up with our grandchildren. Simply put, we couldn’t have rented a better place in a better location. Lucky Bag will not disappoint.

We rented the house with some other couples and their infants to celebrate our daughters 2nd birthday. We had family come into town and some other friends locally come visit us for a party on the beach.
The beachfront location was excellent and the downstairs carport provided a nice spot to set up tables for food and drinks.
The house was very clean and there was more than adequate fridge space and cookware. The two refrigerators provided enough room for all of our beverages along with food for the weekend.
We definitely enjoyed the house, and would consider renting it again. My only complaint is that there was not shampoo/conditioner/body wash present in the bathrooms. Based on our previous stays at rental properties, this is usually something most properties have (especially at this price point).
Overall it’s a 9.5/10 from me.

Beautiful property, direct beach access, kitchen super well stocked with dishes, cooking and meal prep accessories. Beautiful decor, quality and tasteful. Everything was very clean. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

The property was absolutely perfect for 13 friends! The house was very spacious and comfortable while being steps from the ocean with a short drive to dinner. We were disappointed beach towels were not provided. However, the VayK gear was a perk! I would highly recommend this property.

This beach house was fabulous. Excellent location in Pawleys Island. Check in was easy. House was very clean on arrival. Good wifi that enabled multiple people to work remotely. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need for cooking. Something to note is the house is right next to a public beach access, so there were people coming and going. Not at all an issue for us but something to known. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for another visit!

Securing the rental and first deposit went fine. In August when balance was due, a check over the phone was arranged, or so we thought. Upon arrival, we were told they never got our final payment. Therefore, getting this cleared up and into the house was quite disturbing especially when I discover the person who took my checking account info in August, keyed it incorrectly and then NO ONE ever called or notified us in any way that they had not received the balance. That we found unacceptable. Not sure we’ll use TideLife again even though this house was always a favorite. After 41 years at Pawleys’s, this was a first. Considering there was a hurricane, we expected to at least hear from the company but we had to reach out to them. And we’re told they’d make the effort to get us off the island on Thursday but would reimburse one day only. Since our checkout was Sunday, we opted to stay without water and power for 36 hrs. After returning home, we reached out and they subsequently offered 10% off a future stay, not for this one. So when I say I’d not recommend the property, I’m actually saying TideLife. The property is great.

This was our second summer at Lucky Bag. There was plenty of room for everyone from our 7 month old granddaughter to my 87 year old father. Love the upgrades to the house. Comfortable beds, comfortable sectional sofa, and comfortable swivel chairs in the living room! Wonderful location just steps from the ocean. Already booked again for next summer!!!

This was our first year renting an oceanfront house and it was well worth it. The house was plenty big enough for all 8 of us and very clean and modern. I guess the only drawback was, that it was right beside the public access to the beach, so there was some foot traffic and people set up right beside us a few times. Other than that, a totally positive experience!!

We booked this trip prior to the renovations, so we’re pleasantly surprised to see all the updates upon arrival. We had a great week in the house. The layout and size works perfectly for our extended family and we have planned to return next summer!
The house was well stocked with anything we needed for meals and the long table made a great setting for our meals.
The house sits next to a public access walkway, so naturally the beach is more crowded than other areas away from this access…but on Pawleys “crowded” is hardly even the right term. Never more than 1 row deep. The beach in this area of the island was dredged up in the past couple years, so it is very wide and has tons of shells/teeth for those that enjoy the search. My wife found over 130 shark teeth in our weeks stay!! The only minus to the beach dredging is that the wave break was a bit harsh for our 4 year olds outside of low tide. But that’ll level out over the years to come.
Highly recommend staying here, and we plan on coming back ourselves!

Need more chairs on the wonderful porches. Views are great and it would be nice to relax and enjoy them. Especially need more rockers on the front porch that have always been there and now are not! None on upper porch.New railing on porches are very nice.Missed having the grill!Site lines to back out of driveway a little scary.

The main floor was well laid out and the 2 fridges were a plus. It needs a garbage disposal in the sink and the internet was so slow ,I thought it was dial up.the location beside the public beach access made for a much more crowded beach. The ocean side porches were adequate but the street side were much too narrow.

This is a large house with plenty of space to spread out. Nice decks on both floors. Interesting layout as there is really not a master bedroom as all bathrooms are entered from the hall. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and two refrigerators made storing everything quite easy. Living room furniture is nice but really doesn't seem to fit a beach house.There is plenty of parking. During the busy season you need to be aware that you are right next to the public access so it could get crowded in front of your house.

Great Beach location
We were in town for a wedding and wanted to extend our stay and get in some beach time. This property was perfect. It is right in the beach with great access to a very large beach. Also very close to a supermarket, golf and some great restaurants and shopping. All the bedrooms are large plenty large enough for your stay. The dinning room and living room have an open concept. This provides tons of room to hangout and visit with many people. We will certainly be coming back to this location.
