Absolutely outstanding cabin to stay in! It’s just the right size, excellent location and most beautiful view of the lake that there is. Enjoying seeing the lake otters on the deck early in the morning and the blue Herron out and about while we were fishing. We had a great time at the cabin and out fishing. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning on coming to Lake Almanor!

The Red Roof Cabin was great for our vacation. It has a fantastic lakefront location with a beautiful view, nice dock, grassy yard and two buoys. The house is well stocked and clean. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about this property and the host. Everything was perfect. We had a spot for our boat, we went fishing and swimming off the dock, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking in, the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor deck furniture accommodated us for dining and for after dinner cocktails around the firepit. Ashlee helped us prior to arrival with suggestions on things to do in the area, but we ended up spending all of our time at the house and on the lake! We hope to be back soon!

The Red Roof Lakefront is a great place for a family or a couple to enjoy the beauty of Lake Almanor. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities you'll need. The views of lake are amazing, and the access to lake with the new dock was a plus as well. The Host were so gracious and very responsive. This is a great place to make amazing memories.

We just stayed at what may be heaven on earth.
The house is a perfect mix of mountain charm and modern touches. Perfect location to all local amenities and what a view to wake up to every morning. The expansive deck is great for coffee or dinner. You don’t need to leave the house!

Great views and location. This is the spot for kayakers, paddle boarding and catching monster brown trout. The host was great and we would stay there again for sure.

This property is amazing. The host is very caring evidenced not only by the thoughtful details throughout the house, but also by her personal outreach. The home is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous and well-suited for anyone who likes fishing and water activities - or just sitting and taking in the beauty. I do not hesitate recommending this property. I am grateful to the host for all she does to make for a seamless and restful experience. We hope to return!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views of the lake. The boat dock was excellent for our jet skis and would be great for a boat as well. Ashli, the owner was so accommodating and available for questions. Would highly recommend this vacation rental!

Your property is lovely and decorated perfectly, warm feeling , lovely deck , fire pit and table on the deck and great place for our family gathering and we will do it again and again to share with friends as well, it was simply the best and only wish we could have stayed longer, thank you thank you thank you!! We enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The house is located on the best side of the lake with an amazing view. Ashlee was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house had everything we needed. Even though the lake was low we were still able to tie our boat up to the buoy and use the dock as needed. We will definitely come back to this house when we come to the lake.

We couldn’t have been happier with the house. It was super clean and had everything we needed including soft sheets and crisp new white towels… I loved that! The dock was perfect to hang on and fish from. My 8 year old son caught his first fish! It was the best week away and we can’t wait to be back

Celebratory weekend with family
My husband and I were celebrating our 50th anniversary and so we decided to have a weekend away with our kids and grandson. Ashlee, the owner, had put up a banner and balloons for the occasion which was such a surprise and very nice of her to do. The house was spotless and comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Ashlee was very good. The weather was not too good to us, extremely windy, but we had a great time nonetheless and we would love to come back another time.

Red Roof Cabin
We happened to be staying during a time the owners were building. We were informed prior to our stay and were given the option to cancel our reservation.
The construction was of no consequence. They did there work and we were gone fishing most of the day.
Brian and Ashlee were consummate hosts. Available for any of our needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect getaway for my family. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Kids fished right off the dock, we enjoyed the paddleboards, took our boat out and just sat in the backyard and enjoyed the view.
Ashlee was an amazing host. All the little extra touches and her quick responses to any questions we had, made our trip easy and enjoyable.
We hope to stay here again in the near future! Thanks Ashlee!

Another Great Stay
We had another great stay over Memorial Day Weekend. The Gai’s are great hosts and the Red Roof Cabin is a gem. It’s very well stocked with a large deck, beautiful views, and activities included swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing and boating. What more can you ask for? We will be back again and can’t wait.

Red Roof Heaven
This is a marvelous place in a special spot!! Two large view bedrooms w/tvs, and bunk rm. Kitchen: every thing you would ever need, like new! Lots of sitting space in living room. Large lakeview deck. The dock was handy. The fishing was great! There are 2 or 3 special restaurants a mile more or so away. Also a great little market with the best meat you will ever eat is close to the restaurants. The cabin hostess is easy to work with. Red Roof Cabin is special!!

Wonderful vacation home.
Well kept and stocked with all the essentials. Nice and clean bathrooms.. wonderful laundry area. Kitchen has the best view to enjoy while you prep the meal. Nice seating on the deck to enjoy the coffee and s’mores with friends and family.
Best view to wake up to with mountains, lakes, forest and cabin itself . Look forward to our future stay .

Extremely beautiful place in a perfect setting. The owners made our stay wonderful. You’ll feel the love when you communicate with them. The fishing was excellent and the boat dock was a last minute addition since we came too early for it to be installed but they pulled it off. Thanks again Ashlee

Fantastic trip!
Excellent experience at the Red Roof cabin during a fishing trip. The location is perfect, the house has everything you could need, and Ashlee took care of making things as easy as possible for us. Renting paddle boards and kayaks made the most of the waterfront location, and the sunsets were great. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Cozy cabin at Lake Almanor. Spectacular Views
We really enjoyed our stay at Red Roof Cabin. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay including a great deck and stunning views, not to mention being near a couple of really fun golf courses. Overall, a wonderful getaway for two couples. Ashlee is a very thoughtful host and was available for any questions. Would recommend.

Perfect
Despite covid-19, smoke and fires in California, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to get in some fishing, kayaking and hiking at Lassen Volcanic National Park (blue skies). The cabin has everything you could need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Would highly recommend!

The Red Roof Cabin is a beautiful gem on Lake Almanor. Ashlee was an incredible host, always just a text away if we needed anything. The cabin has everything you could dream of, the most comfortable beds and linens, modern appliances, and a lovely cozy cabin charm.

Perfect Cabin on the Lake
Wow! My family and I loved the Red Roof Cabin. The photos don’t do it justice. It is on the lake at a perfect spot. Ashlee communicated with speed every time I had a question. The sheets were clean and the home spotless. We never ran out of things to do on the lovely green lawn. The deck had a large table for outdoor eating as well as a fire pit to roast marshmallows. We definitely didn’t want to leave. Thanks Ashlee!

Where do I begin.........I've known of the red roof cabin for years!!!! We have stayed at various cabins on the lake over the last 20 years....and this past January I was finally able to secure a week on the lake at the Red Roof Cabin!!!!! It was spot on perfect........we loved everything about it!!!!! Looking forward to another week on the lake next summer at the fabulous Red Roof Cabin.......The owners Ashlee and Brian are incredibly sweet ......Loved that we got to meet them when we were checking out!!!!!!!

Awesome Lakefront Home!
Red Roof Cabin exceeded our expectations in every way! We were a group of five, including three teens, and we had a wonderful time during our stay! The cabin was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful details for guests throughout, starting with the welcome basket when we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need, which made cooking for the week super easy. The kids loved cooking together and playing games at the table. There were soft bath towels, toiletry dispensers in the showers, and comfortable bedding. The views were incredible and lake access so easy, just across a lawn area to the swimmable dock. We rented the available kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for the week and it was fun to be able to head out right from the dock. The deck has a large dining table and fire pit that allowed us to enjoy lots of time outside. An extra bonus - the red roof makes the house very easy to spot when you're heading home after some time on the lake! We highly recommend this charming house for a fabulous vacation at Lake Almanor! Thank you Gai family for sharing your house with us!

Great Vacation Home for a Lake Getaway
My family and friends had a great time during out stay at the red roof cabin. Great owners who were easy to communicate with and provided excellent instructions. The house and property were well maintained and clean. Many amenity's were provided above and beyond our expectations. Rated 5 Stars and would defiantly stay again.
