Strange coffee mugs with no handles - too hot too hold. Arty but not very practical.

Though the staff member who greeted us did not speak English, he solved the problem with the translation program on his phone. This worked very well. The motel room was well laid out and quite modern especially in the bathroom.

I could not get my phone to cast but I think that is my problem as I am still learning to use it. This left few choices for what to watch,

Gute Lage, renoviertes Zimmer, gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen.

We stayed here on our Great Ocean Road trip. The room was great and the bed was SO comfy. Unbelievably close to a gorgeous beach. Easy to get to the main strip of bars/cafes/shops. Car park was clear. Highly recommend!

Ist gut zu finden

Der Rezeptionist sprach kein Englisch; mit dem Translator Chinesisch/Englisch konnten wir interagieren. Der Ton war allerdings etwas harsch, was aber wohl der Kultur in Verbindung mit der 1:1 Translation geschuldet war. Das Badezimmer war sauber, die Geschirrecke aber schon schmuddelig. Zudem gabs kleinere Spinnen mit Weben im Schlafzimmer. Die Betten waren ok, aber schon auch alt. Mich störte der Lärm: ich hörte den Nachbarn schnarchen & die Lautstärke: der beachfront war mir too much. Beachfront heisst: Zimmer zum Meer, davor verläuft aber noch die Durchgangsstrasse. & die Balkontür dichtet nichts ab!

Spacious room close to shops etc

Owner could not speak English. Used a language translator on his phone & kept saying how “cheap” we got it. Heard him use the same “spiel” to other guests, but from what I could see was a standard price. Room was very dirty. I returned 2 very unclean glasses from the bathroom, but no response apart from a shrug & no replacements offered. Bathroom was mouldy, bedside lamp dusty, red stain near the bin, not an old one…. No idea what that was… was also quite noisy & there was an awful smell surrounding the place… We will never stay there again..

It was close to the beach and shops Room was tidy and well facilitated.

Property manager couldn’t speak English could not communicate other than an app on his phone. Thick layer of mould in the shower . Booking was mucked up, We asked for a room with a balcony when booking, we did not get that… we had to stay one night in a box room with only a small window then we’re transferred the next night to a room with a balcony.
