We enjoyed our stay! Grateful for the quiet evenings and close enough to get into New Orleans anything else you want to see while visiting.

Conveniently located to everything we wanted to see. The owner was friendly and helpful. We had to buy a few things for our stay there, such as paper towels and dish soap. We also wished there was a larger couch so that we could all sit together in the living room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent home, with cool nightlife options nearby and a short ride from the Quarter. Spacious, well-appointed 2-BD, 1-BA with full kitchen. Important: This is not a shotgun home…each bedroom offers full privacy. Host offered quick and effective responses. There’s also a porch, grassy side yard, and off-street parking. Neighborhood was fine — we waked to several places at night — and no concerns if you’re using Uber.

The host is kind and responsive and his team really helps make your stay comfortable. Book your transportation through the landlord if you can it makes a huge difference! We will definitely stay here again.

The property was really nice. We were within 15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was absolutely perfect. The owner and manager are nearby to handle anything as well as being friendly and helpful. So clean. So spacious. So easily accessible. Great location with zero concern for parking. Easy access to the French Quarter, but even better access to great local food. I would recommend this property to anyone...including my mother. Already planning how to go back. If you have opportunity to stay here, take it.

Very nice place, accurate as pictures shown on the websites. Floors were not very clean and we would’ve loved actual hand towels. Other than that, zero complaints.

The property was as described. We appreciate how clean everything is and the owner is quick to respond to all of our additional questions. Our family of 6, including one super active toddler, needed an affordable place to stay during Mardi Gras weekend, and this place fits the bill and was perfect for us. Even with a full house, it did not feel cramp at all. Will consider re-booking this in the future.

Listing was very accurate. There was always a Private parking spot. Houston was very helpful and communicate quickly.

We spent the weekend in New Orleans and we wanted an affordable, but nice place. We chose this one, we didn’t know it was going to be upstairs until we got the checkin info, which is ok, but a few months ago I would have had a hard time with stairs due to a recent knee surgery. The place was very clean and smelled great. It had a full kitchen with a stove, oven, table and fridge. There is a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar provided which is wonderful since we are all big coffee drinkers. We met the lady who cleans the places within the first couple of hours of being there and she was extremely nice and even offered to take us to the store when we asked where one was at. We ended up meeting the owner also who was very nice and asked how everything was and was very open to suggestions if we had any, which we did not because everything was great. I read in the reviews that the neighborhood is not the most glamorous and could be considered the hood, it’s true haha, but just like the other reviews state, we had 0 issues there. We even have a brand new sports car, and we are usually really careful about where we park it and leave it, but nobody touched it. This is a great place to stay if you want something affordable, clean, that has character and a great host.

Surprisingly quiet and chill environment

This was a great trip that we had and the house was amazing! It was a great place we loved it!!!!

Everything was great! Except for the fact we had to knock on the door if one of the owners long term tenants. He tried calling the owner to get us the code. Owner didn't answer or call back. Owner didn't return our emails to give us the code. Thank God the tenant knew the maids number and she gave us the code. Other than that everything was FANTASTIC!!! When you are visiting. You must go visit Ellen at Stuph'D!! Great Beignets!!! Made with pure love!!!

Was like staying in a hotel room but with more space and privacy.

Everything was great from the beginning to the end. The property owner was very respectful and very generous. Every time he saw us he spoke with a smile. We felt very safe!

This property and the property owner, was a very good, and unexpected stay of quality surprises. The property was very comfortable, neat, clean, and inviting. The property manager was on top of any issues that came up, and was very attentive to our needs as guest. Would highly recommend this property.

The beds were fine but there was not really a kitchen- no kitchen sink, stove, or kitchen dishes. It would be equivalent to a hotel stay- fridge and microwave only.

Don’t judge a book by its covers, very nice and clean stay. No kitchen but not far from French quarters to eat and enjoy your time.

This place was perfect for what we needed. Beds are comfortable. Location is not exactly the safest so it’s best to take a car after dark. But we felt ok walking over to the Marigny in the daytime. Host is very nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

The house was beautiful, convenient, nostalg

It was a great place to get sleep for the night.

On first impression, we were a little concerned about the neighborhood because all of the houses appeared quite rundown. However, after being in New Orleans for a bit and seeing the city, we realized 90% of the houses there look weathered. We met quite a few neighbors and they were all very friendly. The drive to downtown was quick and we slept great in their beds despite them being a little squeaky. The owner was quick to communicate and very helpful when we had questions. The house has a “kitchen” but no stove or sink in there. It’s just a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker but we weren’t planning to cook so that didn’t matter to us. For the price, it was definitely a great place to stay. It was nice being in a regular neighborhood versus the touristy areas and we just needed some place to lay our heads at the end of the long days exploring without breaking the bank. This fit the bill perfectly.

When We got there the air was off so it took alil bit to cool off. There was no stove OR SINK but they had dishes, smh! There was also stairs but at the bottom of them, it was blocked off. None of those things were in the description. Also, the door had a code but every time we got back, the door wouldn’t open. There was a “special” way to open the door I guess cause we had to hold the door and then put in the code. It was close to the strip and the beds were comfortable. No TVs in the rooms or WiFi though.

The host communicated well, was easy to reach, and accommodating! We had a few airport delays and he was super flexible and understanding. The property was as described, clean, and there was plenty of street parking. The beds were comfortable and the decorations really made it feel like a home away from home. There is also central a/c!!!! I was told by a local that the neighborhood wasn’t great but everyone we met in passing was super nice and we had zero issues. This may be an odd plus but I have to mention the water pressure in the shower and temperature were perfect (I hate mediocre showers). There is no kitchen if you care but there was a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen utensils. We were only 3 miles from the French Quarters and lots of tasty food! I’ll also mention that the property is upstairs if you need handicap accommodations. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip. The host definitely made this trip easier and less stressful. Kudos to him!
