It was everything I was hoping for. Quiet, peaceful , the mountains always lift me up and reboot my being. This was magnificent.

We've been staying in Cowboy Heaven cabins for nearly 10 years - they're always delightful, but this was the nicest yet. Our teenage son loved the loft, all of the appointments were top notch, and there was storage space aplenty (which is always at a premium). Veteran renters will know that what is and isn't "ski-in, ski-out" can be a matter of some debate... Not so here -- if this place was any closer to the slope the snow cats would ding it. It really couldn't have been better -- it's the perfect place for a winter ski adventure or a summer getaway. Five stars.

There are so many things to love about this property. The views are spectacular, it's dark at night for fabulous star gazing, comfortable beds, spaces to spread out, lots of storage so your luggage can be hidden, great internet connectivity and every appliance we needed. The hosts are highly responsive. It is a 15-20 minute drive to most meal/grocery options, so you'll want to plan ahead. Beautiful daily drive to Yellowstone for our family. Highly recommend the premade meals at the Country Store at the bottom of the mountain. Nice staff, too!

My wife, two older teen children and myself just came back from a vacation in Big Sky, Montana. First, Big Ski is beautiful with lots of restaurants and lots to do. We went to a great Farmer’s Market downtown which was huge. Tons of food trucks and craft booths. The cabin is about 15 minutes from downtown, under and hour to Bozeman (also fun) and about an hour and fifteen minutes to Yellowstone so it is a great in between location. Incredible views of the mountains as well. Acra and Chris were awesome hosts and super responsive (not that we had much need to contact them). The cabin is comfortable, clean, well laid out and well appointed with high-end appliances (sub-zero, Viking). The beds are comfortable and the hot tub was well maintained and great to relax in (we have one at home and love it). The loft had an extra bed (very low ceiling so not for tall people). Likely good for slightly older children but we did not use it since there were only four of us. All in all, we were were extremely happy and really enjoyed the cabin and the trip- we just wish we had more time (we had spent a few initial days in Yellowstone and 4-5 days in Big Sky at the cabin). Very nice and location tops. Great and seamless check-in; communication was excellent.
The property was abundantly warm so turning off the bedroom baseboard heaters will help if a normal/cool room temp is favored.
Only disapointment was that the wood stove was not a wood stove, but rather a gas burner.
Would stay here again.

Gorgeous view with great location to hikes, the town, and everything else that makes Big Sky so amazing. This was a summer getaway and it was fabulous. No complaints.

Perfect ski-in ski-out cabin
Property was as described and perfect for a family of 4. The accommodations were well maintained and appointed. We cooked in a few nights with ease. The drive to town and restaurants is 20-30 mins each way. No Uber here. Overall great experience.

Much needed oasis
Excellent location, beautiful cabin. Plenty of room. Enjoyed the kitchen filled with all the amenities. Only 15 minutes from downtown yet far enough to have cute foxes as evening visitors. Highly recommended!

Wonderful 10 year anniversary trip!
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the cabin. The location was great and wonderful mountain views! Cabin is just as listed and beautiful. Definitely recommend 10/10!

Wonderful Location
The owner is extremely responsive to any questions presented while we were at the property. The cabin was well stocked and had in-date bear spray in the unit. The weather was awesome for the majority of the week.

Great little cabin with great views
It was a nice stay. The cabin is pretty upscale and the views are from hear the top of the mountain. Much better than some of the other cabins nearby that might look into a stand of trees or something. We really enjoyed the stay.

We love this cabin! The hot tub, the immediate access to skiing and the views are amazing!! There was such easy communication with the property manager and check-in was super smooth. We will be back!

Amazing view!
We loved this cabin! We came for some early season skiing in December and the resort wasn’t fully open so unfortunately it wasn’t a ski-in/ski-out for us. Wish we would’ve known that in advance but luckily it was a quick drive to the parking lot down below. Had all the amenities we needed. Our hot tub stopped working the last few days we were there and despite communicating back and forth with the owner (he was very responsive), we couldn’t get it working again. So that was a bummer. We had a little (fat) fox friend visit us one night too! What a beautiful part of the country!

Cozy cabin on the slopes with great views
We loved the location and cozy feel of the cabin. It is truly ski in and ski out. The gorgeous hot tub is on the deck overlooking the valley. Managers were very nice while replacing the hot tub. The interior is rustic and charming. The kitchen is modern. Great for our family of 5. Nice bedrooms although the loft has low ceilings and is not separated from the main room. Our only complaint was a very uncomfortable couch. But we had a wonderful ski vacation and would come back.

Well Appointed & Cozy!
The cabin looked exactly as pictured - perfect. It was immaculate - well appointed and maintained. The owners were very thoughtful; loved that they provided all the necessities (laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing supplies, etc), along with a generous welcome basket. I highly recommend and would stay again! Thank you for a great stay!
