We were looking for a house for four adults that was essentially located so we can get to the beach into North Shore easily. This house was so beautiful. I felt very comfortable staying here. Every morning, coffee the deck so I can enjoy the view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this vacation house. The home is lovely, the view is stunning, and its in a nice quiet neighborhood. It's an older house, so the layout is a little odd upstairs with bedrooms and bathrooms (bedroom with bunks had an attached full bath, bedroom with king had no attached bath, bedroom with queen had a half bath with a door to the hallway full bath), but the bathrooms have all the modern amenities and the mini-splits kept the bedrooms cool overnight.
The kitchen was fairly well equipped, except for a shortage of plates. We appreciated the beach towels and beach gear. Unfortunately 3 of the 5 chairs were broken, but there were wicker mats, towels, an umbrella, all of which came in handy.
We spent 5 days here with our 2 daughters, ages 14 & 18 - who both appreciated having their own room. We would definitely return to this house again!

Wonderful house and neighborhood. Super clean and spacious. Beds were very confortable. Kitchen had everything needed. More than plenty of towels including beach towels, and other stuff like beach chairs, umbrella etc.
Loved being able to go to the farmers market next to Safeway. Fendu French Bakery and Off the Hook Poke are a must.

This property is simply remarkable in its design, amenities and location. It literally nurtured our souls with the beautiful stained glass, furnishings, views and location. Every necessary amenity is provided and are all high end. It is high and deep into the Manoa Valley so if you are fine driving to the beach, this is a great option. Nice place to come back to after a day of excursions or to just hang out all day. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home built in 1931. The stained glass throughout the home was so impressive. We had a wonderful stay here. The location was great-we drove everywhere easily. Kitchen well-equipped, plenty of towels and linens, closet full of beach towels and chairs. Super windy weather (not vrbo’s fault!), and a lot of unidentifiable banging, and the doors could use some WD-40. We had a little bit of trouble getting the deck doors to close, but finally figured it out. The vrbo staff was amazing in her response times before we ever got there (had to make a couple of date changes and ask a question!). We didn’t have any reason to contact her during our stay-everything was as described. There is a coffee maker, hair dryer. Bring your own shampoo and bar of soap. We would highly recommend this place!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

My adult daughter & I took my dad to Hawaii for his first time so he could visit Pearl Harbor. (Pearl Harbor should really be on everyone's bucket list!) This was the perfect place for us, as it had three separate bedrooms and toilets for each of us to have our own. We also hate eating out at every meal, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked so we could cook a couple of meals ourselves to eat outside on the wonderful lanai, enjoying the spectacular view! There really wasn't anything we needed or would have changed. It's the perfect location & an easy drive to just about anywhere on the island. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for thinking of everything for your guests!

We were delighted with this house in Manoa. Its location was unbeatable and the house itself was even better than the description. It was beautifully decorated and furnished (the stained glass windows were magnificent!) Beds were comfortable, we had ample linens. The kitchen was well stocked and there was even beach equipment in the closet. We hope to return many more times!

This property looked better than it did in the photos. Stunning view from the patio. It was a narrow little street but the neighbors were great and helpful. The on island property management staff was very good with questions we had. I liked that we could use the beach towels and sand chairs. Lovely home.

We had the family staying here for UH graduation. The property is gorgeous. 4 of us were very comfortable here and it was a great spot to have friends over to visit. Will rent again for future events on Oahu.

Close proximity to Manoa Valley amenities and relatively easy access to all parts of the island. The breathtaking views and gorgeous stain glass windows delighted our senses. What a beautiful home! The perfect location for our first visit to Hawaii with easy access to Waikiki and a perfect view of Diamond Head from the balcony. We were visiting relatives in Honolulu and needed a family friendly place to stay for 10 days. This house is in a charming, older part of Manoa. There are three full bedrooms upstairs, and 2.5 baths upstairs. The unit is vintage, but well maintained with some updated features in the kitchen. There was plenty of space for a family to relax and not feel cramped. The one thing to be aware of is the parking situation. Rent as small of a car as you can! The streets are narrow, the parking bay for the unit is small. Also be aware it can be extremely windy. Don't leave things on the lanai to dry out... they will blow away.

Most things worked well at the property. These things could use attention: Fan in bedroom without attached bathroom is very unbalanced and potentially dangerous. Pull light in closet in bedroom without a bathroom attached doesn’t work properly. We had to unscrew the light bulb to turn it off. It would be nice to have an umbrella on the deck as it was very sunny and hot to sit outside.. It would be helpful to have some instructions on how to use the TV as there are three controls and it was difficult to work out which did what. Mahalo!

The house was awesome! So comfortable and clean. We walked in and instantly felt relaxed after a stressful day of travel. We had no problem locating items in the house. The kitchen & kitchenware was very clean - unlike other rentals that we stayed at. It's close to things, which is super convenient. The neighborhood is great and the view from the deck is amazing. We would have spent more time on the deck, but the wind was unusually strong during our stay. Also, a few of the boards on the deck were loose, so when we were out we avoided those areas. Definitely keeping this place in mind for our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Manoa house. The house was neat and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Other than only have one wash cloth for four guests, we had no issues. Amanda was very helpful and brought more wash clothes. There are restaurants and grocery stores close to the house and it is only 15 minutes away from downtown. I would certainly recommend this location. The neighbor across the street was very friendly and helpful. Driveway was small and would be more suitable for a standard suv. We had a full size suv and it worked fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manoa Valley Duplex. It was just far enough from the hub-ub of the busy city center but not too far to be a problem. We loved the house, the beds were very comfortable. The lanai has a great view and lots of seating. The parking is tight (much like most of Hawaii) so a smaller rental car is a better choice. This location had easy access to the rest of the island, grocery stores etc.

Perfect location. Its out of the busy downtown but just a short drive away to Waikiki. 20 minutes from Koko Head and Diamond Head. The views are spectacular from the deck off of the back of the house. You will see the mountains, Diamond Head, Downtown Honolulu with peaks of the ocean between the hi-rise buildings.

Charming historic cottage in Manoa with views of Diamond Head. Comfortable and classy interiors, three full bedrooms, and fully stocked kitchen and supplies for a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and being to sit in the evenings and enjoy the views and the rainbows.

Paradise
The location had a wonder view of the city.
The place is very quite. If there was one change to make - it would be that i wish there was more room for parking. it's pretty tight if you have anything larger than a mid-size SUV. But, love that everything was very close to the location.

Enjoyable Stay
The house fulfilled our family’s needs very well. We expected an older home so we were prepared. There are the creaks especially with the doors (maybe planing doors or oiling the hinges might help?). A few more hooks in the bathrooms would be helpful and garbage cans in the bedrooms would be nice. We didn’t have enough towels but the team responded quickly and delivered them to us! The bedrooms are equipped with individual air conditioning units and one of them didn’t reflect the setting, much colder than the 74 degrees we had it set on so we turned it off and used the ceiling fan (which swung a lot if it was set at a higher setting). We had a toddler with us and were concerned about the hot tub in the house but it had high steps to access it and a heavy covering so it wasn’t an issue. The location of the home was very convenient. The most enjoyable part of the house was the nice deck and beautiful view of Diamond Head!

The home is beautiful, the beds are comfortable. Not handicap accessible, all restrooms are located upstairs. Parking for visitors or friends is hard. The lani is great with a fantastic view, however you must wait until the sun goes down, no umbrella for use due to the high winds. I would consider placing a larger TV in the living room, very small TV located there. Pretty much has everything you need, grocery store is 4 mins away.

I was born and raised in Honolulu, so I'm very picky about where I stay when I travel back to see family. This place was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable, the location was really convenient (if you have a car), and most importantly, the space was clean and well maintained, but in a way that felt more like a home than a rental. Our family (5 adults and 2 kids) was very comfortable the entire time. The only thing I would warn a potential guest about is the fact that because it is an old house, there are a few sticky doors and creaking sounds that can be pretty noisy at night.

A Dream House in an Incredible Location!
This house was incredibly beautiful and comfortable for our family gathering with tasteful, personal touches that made it feel more like a home than a rental. The pictures in the listing are very accurate, and everything was very well maintained. The beds, in particular, were very comfortable. The location was fantastic- very central, without feeling 'in the middle' of things. The view is stunning. I was born and raised in Hawaii, so wasn't doing a lot of 'touristy' things on this trip, and sitting out on the lanai, even when the rain came through the valley, was so calming and gorgeous. The only reason I am giving this listing 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are a few things that might bother some people. First of all, it is a beautiful, old house, and as with all old houses, there are creaks and groans and sticky doors that sometimes made a lot of noise in the middle of the night. Additionally, while the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cutlery, etc, the cupboards were bare when it came to things like oil or sugar- those little things that make it easier to cook. Of course, that may change as more people stay here and buy those type of things and leave them there. Bottom line: if you are looking for a place with real character and a great location, this is an excellent choice.

Beautiful House and Relaxing Stay
The house is truly beautiful and had plenty of space for 5 adults to spread out. We appreciated how well the kitchen is outfitted, with all the dishes and utensils you could need. The neighborhood is very residential and quiet, and it was a nice place to relax in the evenings, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the lanai when the day cooled off.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, with very nice pillows and linens, and we all slept very well during our stay.
There are actually 2.5 baths, not just 2 as in the listing, which worked out really well for us. They are all located upstairs, which might be an issue for people with mobility issues.
The carpet is looking a little worn, and there weren't quite enough small amenities--the only kitchen supplies were cooking spray, salt and pepper, and there were only two bars of soap for the three bathrooms--but these were small things. The keyless entry gave us a little trouble as well. Sometimes it worked without a hitch, but sometimes it took 5 or more tries for the code to actually engage the deadbolt and unlock the door, which was frustrating, but never kept us out.
All in all it was a very relaxing stay in a comfortable, beautiful spot.

The house was functional for our stay, however the house is not handicap friendly. The house is split level and there is no restroom on the lower floors. Bedrooms are all upstairs. Views are beautiful, location is good, need a GPS to find it though. No printer if you want to print documents, no tissue on lower level(s), and though there was everything you need to prepare and eat food, there was only a salt and pepper shaker. We purchased some additional ammenities, but I don't know if the cleaners are allowed to leave anything. So bring your own spices, sugar and coffee creamer. White carpets, no yard, functional rooms with A/C in each room, no garage use, very limited parking (I had an Escalade and I had to park in front of the garage door and I was in the street. Very clean, well maintained, good property managment company (Turnkey), I spoke with them while I was there. Nothing in walking distance, including grocery or restraunts. Must have a car for this property. No beach or recreation ammenities.

My family of 4 including 3 generations enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the views from the lanai of Diamond Head, downtown Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean can't be beat! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors friendly. Although the AC worked well, we opened the windows and the trade winds cooled the home down considerably. The support from TurnKey before, during and after was much better than the company whose name begins with an "A and ends with a B". The keyless check in process was smooth and the tablet provided in the home was great! We're looking forward to a return stay!
