great Host

No sign or number of location but typical for Costa Rica

basic but well equipped apartment. very warm welcome by Luis (and family), the personal contact was great, making use of the big garden, lending the bbq, and the amazing view (day and night) from the viewpoint-terrace was the perfect place to reminisce during the last days of our 5 week trip. Grecia was quite nice, where Luis recommends some nice activities,visiting Féria del agricultor was a great experience. convenient/close to the airport.

for two adults and two kids the apartment is quite small, but the very big outdoor space makes up for that. I would not recommend the sofa bed for adults

Property’s location is fantastic if you have to be moving around Grecia downtown . Blanc haus is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, the area is very calm.

The gate at the property entrance is a little bit uncomfortable to open but nothing major.

Exception my friendly host. Very respect and responsible. Bestvstsybo have had in Costa Rica. I would definitely recommend.

the directions were not okay. if we didn’t have wifi we would have been stuffed. we booked because it looked peaceful and central. we could bbq and play pool. we arrived and they were okay. bbq was upstairs and in water so we had to bring it down. then the pool table was not operational. and then we wanted to have a hot shower and nothing !!! my partner had travelled 9 hours and all we wanted was a hot shower (cold rainy season in the mountains). we called Luis to be told there was nothing he could do. so I asked if we could shower in his house he said no !!!! shocking. so I said i that case you need to refund us. he said leave immediately. it was 10pm. we were trying to find an alternative and they called the police because we didn’t leave immediately. it not our fault but they made it our problem we eventually found a taxi but they had called the POLICE when we asked for time to find alternative accommodations. all in a matter of 40 mins. i am on a very limited budget. my partner who is Tico doesn’t earn much. if we pay for a service which in my opinion is a lot for What it offers. then they must give us what we paid for. so I wasted my 10% saving on an awful experience. it was very upsetting.

I wish every place I stay at was like that. 5 stars, would definitely stay again. The property is amazing and the bed was so comfortable.

We had very comfortable stay! Meeting the owners was fantastic, they shared with us all the fruits the land can provide. Extremely friendly and down to earth. The facility have everything we needed. A blender to make a mango juice straight from the garden too.

Very nice hosts helping with everything you need. The house and the garden around is wonderful, a perfect stay in total! We can only recommend it!

We had a great stay. The family that hosted us is fabulous, very helpful and kind. The place super comfortable, even hot water:) we could use the garden and there is a terrace that has amazing views to enjoy sunrise and sunsets ! Many trees with fruits and flowers, just beautiful place!

Wow! The best level of hospitality ;) Our host was very friendly and helpful. House is very nice and comfortable with all of you need. And this breathtaking view from tarrace :D We really regretted leaving this place.

The little house was perfect for one couple and it was a convenient 40 minutes to the airport for our flight without staying downtown. The grounds were beautiful with a great view of the Central Valley.

It was a cute studio apartment. The property was amazing and there was a wonderful terrace that over looked the Central Valley of Costa Rice.

A lovely small fully separate studio flat, comprised of one room (bedroom/dining/kitchenette), a bathroom and an outdoor patio space. Set in beautiful grounds right next to the main house where the host family lives. The family are very friendly, super helpful and overall great hosts. There is a gazebo with a beautiful view of the mountains. The flat has a comfortable double bed, a hot shower, a fan, all necessary kitchen equipment, a table. It's possible to wash clothes at the main house. The WiFi is strong. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot in the mountains around San Jose.

One small thing that would make the place even nicer would be a mosquito net above the bed or in the windows.

We have stayed at 12 different hostels, hotels and cabins on this trip and Blanc Haus rates #1 for comfort, privacy and value. A fully furnished apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a very nice bath with a real hot water shower. The grounds are beautiful. The owners, a delight.

Located about a 20 minute walk from the center of Gracia, it can be a bit hard to find - because it’s a private apartment located on the estate grounds of a lovely home. Call the phone number listed and luckily Luis will meet you at the gate.

It was very comfortable. Very accessible to centro Grecia. Very private and quiet. The view from the Terrace is spectacular.
