La "Hummingbird House" dispone di 4 camere da letto, 3 bagni con una grande cucina completamente attrezzata, sala da pranzo, zona giorno, un ampio solarium che rende un posto meraviglioso per un caffè mattutino durante quelle fredde mattine costiere situate su 3 acri. C'è un grande ponte di 60 piedi con vista sull'oceano con posti a sedere e un pozzo del fuoco per godersi quelle belle giornate e serate costiere, e potresti guardare i cervi che pascolano pacificamente nel pascolo. Questa è una casa meravigliosa per famiglia e amici.
Questa casa si trova a un miglio di distanza dal MacKerricher State Park e dalla spiaggia, dove si può godere di una meravigliosa lunga spiaggia sabbiosa, percorsi pedonali mantenuti, molte piscine di marea da esplorare e sono in grado di osservare la vita marina come Sea Lions e Whale nella loro natura habitat. I never write reviews but I HAD TO on this one. I traveled to this home as a family with our adult children - six people in our party all together and this home was so accommodating we hardly wanted to leave for our planned excursions. The surroundings, adorable features within, foxes and deer running around outside and all of the cute decorations, board games, hand written notes with thorough instructions - made us feel very well taken care of. Even if this house seems a bit big for a smaller party - JUST CHOOSE IT and I guarantee you walk inside and say "thank you random lady with the positive review" while patting yourself on the back for making an excellent choice.

My two sisters and I stayed here during a bucket list trip to Ft. Bragg to visit Sea Glass Beach. It did not disappoint! The house is SO spacious! Each of us had our own bedroom AND bathroom! The kitchen is huge and there wasn't ONE thing we needed that wasn't there. Erika was so kind and wonderful to communicate with when we had questions...she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The house is decorated SO cute...lots of antiques and trinkets to see. Oh, and the hummingbirds! How fun it was to see different kinds of hummingbirds! Easy, easy access to and from town...we made several trips back and forth each day. Everything was very clean; I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in this area!!

It was a great house to have 2 of my children and 3 grandchildren spend time together before a move to Arizona. House was well equipped with everything that was above expected. Plenty of towels, extra key etc. Close to many beaches and town. I have never had a host leave a welcome gift for us. Nice to see some wildlife around the property.

It was a very beautiful cozy home! We loved staying here and would love to stay again. We were celebrating an engagement that happened during our trip and this was the perfect place. Our hosts were amazing!

Everything about this property was amazing! The amenities that Erika and her husband provide make you feel right at home and all needs met! Child friendly with lots to help entertain. Erika was very responsive and helpful. I even thought that I had "lost" my diamond earrings, let Erika know and she took time to look carefully for me (earrings were found in my things, just not "normally" where they are kept). We would definitely stay at this home again, thank you for a great but too short of a stay!

The home was roomy enough for our 8 adults. There were clear notes left at various places that came in quite handy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. If only we could have stayed longer. The communication was OUTSTANDING.

Surprised my husband and son with a trip up to Fort Bragg to do the skunk train and exploring the area came back to the rental had steaks on the grill s’mores birthday cake and just enjoyed each other. It was a beautiful location. Just wish we had more time there the wildlife was beautiful. There were 2 does hanging around the property frequently!

Incredible host, Erka went out of her way to accommodate us.
And the home is beautiful, with a view of ocean.
And Erka has more things for guests ( including a charcuterie tray in fridge) in addition to informational signs everywhere.
Definitely would like to return for longer stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! We were so pleased with the location and layout of this home, which provided absolutely everything we could hope for and did not disappoint. There was plenty of room for meals, games, and nightly fires together, while accommodating individual personal time as well. The hosts are amazing and provided so many personal touches, which made us feel so welcome. We cannot imagine ever needing to look at another place for future visits and hope to make this spot a part of many more family times together!

When arriving the outside was so unkempt I wondered if we should even stay. Then going inside, the house was so large, so well stocked and clean I decided to stay.
I don't know why the outside is not swept, weeds pulled, etc. The place has beautiful decks but there are dead potted plants all across the deck railing and other places around the house. If they are not going to be kept up -- why have them? Pots with dead plants and weeds significantly deter from the natural beauty of the area. The deck would be fine with out them. The exterior of the house really needs attention.

We had a wonderful stay here for the second time. Check in and out was easy. The house is comfy and very roomy. We love the big open kitchen. It’s a very short drive to the ocean and store. We cant wait to go back!

Erika was an excellent host and extremely responsive. She also provided us wonderful activity and food recommendations. The check-in process was smooth. The property was well maintained with an abundance of amenities. Many things we had thought to bring were already there. A great experience to be close to nature for those who cannot commit to a camping experience. Many deer are roaming the area and a great variety of hikes are within a short driving distance. Quiet enough that you can hear the waves from the patio area.

This home was perfect for our family, so many amenities and the layout of the house is such that it’s like two houses very separate spaces.
Comfortable beds, bathrooms had many useful products I felt if I had forgot anything they provided it.
Large deck and sunroom so spacious.

Loved the screen room, the beds were super comfy, very well stocked with everything. They even left goodies in the fridge for us!

Classic Lost Coast Experience
Property owners were very responsive & easy to work with. The home is a classic Lost Coast experience with deer grazing below the house as one looks out to the ocean. Family loved all the little extras & expressed a desire to return next year!

We rented Erika’s place for a wedding weekend. It’s location was perfect with views of the ocean. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is easy to find. We were originally supposed to do a horseback ride with Ricochet Ranch which is literally just down the street. Unfortunately rain caused us to cancel our plans. But the house is in such close proximity to the ranch we wouldn’t mind returning for a stay and rebooking a horseback ride—it’s so convenient.
When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the square footage of the home…it’s huge! The master bed/bath has its own wing. We had 3 adults and 4 kids ranging from 9-15 and there was plenty of space for all and a few more.
Erika’s home is well-stocked with anything and everything you may need to enjoy your stay. She even left us a bottle of wine, charcuterie, and snacks! So sweet!
We had one super minor issue that I contacted Erika about during our stay. She was so responsive and helpful it became a non-issue. We would definitely want to stay again, maybe when the weather is warmer and we have more time to enjoy the area.

We have a wonderful couple retreat in this great hummingbird house which is so warm and welcoming w magnificent scenery around us . These few days we really experienced this unforgettable experience retreat the hospitality of Erika and David. We feel that this is really 6-star house/hotel.

This house was perfect for our stay. We had our adult children, their significant others, as well as our 4 and almost 2 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone and we definitely enjoyed spending time on the deck. Will definitely be looking to stay here again!!!
