Friendly people, clean room, warm, fun sweet jar, quiet.

My room was an attic room. A bit musty particularly the pillows which was not so pleasant.

The Location was good for access to the Old Vic Theatre

There was no table next to the bed on one side and there was no mirror close to a power socket to be able to dry my hair.

Ondertussen onze vaste uitvalsbasis geworden tijdens verblijf in Londen. Dichtbij alles en toch rustig gelegen. Grote kamer en badkamer (heeft wel beetje onderhoud nodig). In de onmiddellijke omgeving prachtige adresjes voor ontbijt en diner. Ik zou niet twijfelen. PS ze hebben ook lekkere biertjes én geen hinder van geluid in de kamer.

Posizione comoda, 10 min dalla metro e tanti autobus che ti portano in centro proprio sotto l’albergo. Il proprietario ha anche un bar dove puoi bere birra e mangiare qualcosina, tutto molto buono! La stanza è piccola ma accogliente e pulita.

Bagno un po’ da aggiustare ma pulito.

Cama cómoda, aunque la colcha es un poco pequeña para dos personas, ya que solo ponen sábana bajera. Cercanía al museo imperial de la Guerra y línea de metro y bus no muy lejos. Chucherias de cortesía en la habitación, también agua, leche, tetera y cafetera.

No pasaron a limpiar en 4 días. Trato a los huéspedes inexistente. Precio excesivo.

Room was unique, and the facilities were great.

Lovely staff and really liked the access to such a nice, cosy pub downstairs. The room was clean and great facilities available. Comfy bed and the location was in a good area with nice local pubs, and within walking distance to the London eye and other cafes.

Due to being on a main road, there was a fairly frequent stream of sirens passing by every once in awhile. Wasn't a huge issue for us as we're quite heavy sleepers.

The location was perfect. Close to the center, just a 20 minute bus ride away from the Big Ben, and very close to the underground station. The staff of the pub downstairs were very polite and they kept our bags both before check in and after check out. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and felt safe.

The shower was problematic, it wouldn’t drain and we had to take very short showers so the water wouldn’t overflow.

The staff was extremely nice and relaxed, our room was well-equipped and clean. We were even supplied with drinking water and milk for coffee (machine in the room) at no extra charge. We also loved that there was a 10% discount for hotel guests at the bar, which is a lovely place to spend time.

The room was very hot, probably due to it being on the top floor and because of the heat from the fridge right outside the door - but there was a fan, so it wasn’t too bad!

the fridge outside our room was so loud, we had to ask to have it turned off, the shower only the rainfall head worked the bath was exceptionally slippery the room was large enough to take a table, we needed to work and there was nothing suitable

The room was wonderful. It was very spacious and I loved the decor. Even though it was above the pub and the window overlooked the beer garden the noise was not a problem. Staff were great and it was really nice to be over the lovely pub and to be able to go up the stairs to my room. Ideal for my needs. Location is excellent too and the neighbourhood is very nice. I will be back

`Brilliant, central location… welcoming staff… amazing food onsite.. large spacious yet quiet room. For the staff +++ praise!!! Everything was a pleasure to help and never a chore! The delicious pizzas in the bar were heavenly and the icing on the cake!

Keep in mind you are over a pub so although it's convenient, it was noisy until at least midnight when the pub closes.

There was loud music coming from the downstairs bar until 00:00.

The first thing to compliment is the room itself, it's spacious, warm even during the colder days and the curtains do an amazing job in keeping the noise out during the night, even when people are drinking downstairs. The staff is also extremely welcoming and approachable in a way you don't usually find in hotels. The food is really good, the pizzas saved me from going hungry more than once. The place itself is a ten minute walk away from either Lambeth North or Kennington station, the latter of which is open all night long, meaning that the hotel is extremely accessible at all hours while also being quiet for a good night's rest after a night out in Soho or Camden and you're getting all this for a price comparable to a much smaller and less comfortable room in a more central location that wouldn't really be that much faster to reach. Spectacular value, really spectacular.

There is one thing that lets down in the room I stayed in and that is the Wi-Fi. It works, the connection is ok, but for some reason it's really hard to connect to it. I'd find myself walking around the room, cellphone in hand trying to get a connection. This would usually only take two or three minutes, but it really sticks out when your feet are all sore from walking around all day and you just wanna get to the hotel and relax. Other criticism are more contextual: only way to get to the room is a relatively narrow set of stairs, so people with mobility issues are unlikely to have a good experience with that staircase; the shower leaks a bit from the bottom, it doesn't drip on you or affect the shower's functioning in any way, but I can imagine someone getting peeved with it. Very minor things.

The location is definitely the main advantage here, as is the staff. Westminster was 20 minutes by foot and in case you needed to get somewhere further, there was a bus stop on the same street or you could walk 10 minutes to the Elephant and Castle station. Staff was very welcoming and helpful, whatever we needed they immediately took care of. The pub downstairs was very convenient in case you'd just wanted to grab a drink after a long day, or to have a warm meal. We appreciated the extra water and milk in the fridge, as well as the kettle and coffee machine in the room. We liked the neighbourhood of the hotel as it seemed calm and inhabited by locals.

We stayed in the room right above the pub where the heating was covered by a table with coffee machine so we had to ask staff to help us figure out where it is and how to turn it on. :) (However that wasn't an issue as I said they are very nice and helpful.) It took about 1 hour until the room was properly heated (both in the room and in the bathroom) so keep this in mind if you are staying here in colder months and are prone to feel cold. The windows in the room were very old and the wind blew through them so we had to use extra towels to seal them a bit. There is no wardrobe to keep things in. The shower drain needs to be cleaned as the water was draining very slowly. However, the disadvantages didn't bother us that much as we only came here to sleep and the most important ones could be solved quite easily.

The room was nicely furnished, good quality bedding and towels. comfy bed. Very clean bathroom and good facilities including a coffee machine. We had a nice pizza with wine from the pub downstairs.

Toilet was clean but had a bad stain in the basin which was a bit off putting. Bleach needed?
