De quoi passer de bons moments ! Jolie maison avec de grandes pièces, très bien équipée, calme et des Propriétaires charmants et accueillants.

Week-end en famille sur 3 générations qui s'est très bien déroulé. Nous avons apprécié la grandeur des lieux et la diversité des espaces pour pouvoir se réunir tous ensemble ou s'isoler en petits groupes. Douches et WC pour chaque chambre est un +. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (trop froide), mais avons apprécié le spa. Destination à conserver :)

Tres chouette maison, très agréable avec plein d'activités pour s'amuser. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amis. Les propriétaires sont gentils et très discret. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Activités disponibles pour toutes catégories d’âges. Informations utiles a savoir les propriétaires sont sur place (gentils et discrets)… leur habitation est mitoyenne à la location. Pour accéder à la salle de jeu (génial pour les plus jeunes) il faut juste ressortir de la maison ; elle se trouve sous le logement des propriétaires. Merci à Steeve et Gina pour leur accueil.

Zeer ruime woning, alsook de buitenruimte. aangenaam om met een grote groep elk een eigen badkamer (met wc) te hebben. de keuken is ook goed uitgerust: borden, bestek, glazen, tassen alles is meer dan voldoende aanwezig. ook bij minder goed weer ga je je niet vervelen: de speelkamer viel in de smaak bij de kinderen! bij mooi weer: BBQ en zwembad... vakantie :-) er zijn ook enkele fietsen, en in de buurt is er een fietsroute (VP26-Mohon-Trinite-Porhoet) huis is echt op de "boere buiten", je kunt in alle rust genieten. in de buurt te bezoeken: Josselin en voor de kinderen is er ook een pretpark op minder dan 1 uur rijden: kingoland. bedankt Gina & Steve!! wij komen terug !

Très bonne location tout y est même en Cas de mauvais temps. Il y a tout ce qu il faut dans la cuisine on a jamais vu ça autant de vaisselles et autre. on a apprécié le bar le salon les chambres avec chacun sa salle de bain. Le jardin et le spa. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires Seul point négatif les chambres du bas sont un peu moins confortables car bruit lorsque les propriétaires sont levés bruit de pas et télé besoin d insonoriser et les salles de bain ont besoin d un rafraîchissement mais ca n empêche que l ensemble est parfait et on s y sent bien. Je reviendrais. Je me souviendrai de mes 50 ans. Merci à vous deux et pour les bouteilles de cidre à notre arrivée. À bientôt.

Steve et Gina nous ont accueillis chaudement dans leur gîte, la maison est parfaite pour un week-end en groupe. Comme dit dans les précédents commentaires, ils habitent dans une maison mitoyenne, donc attendez-vous à les croiser souvent, mais vu leur gentillesse et discrétion cela ne devrait vous poser aucun problème. La literie est parfaite, une salle de bain dans chaque chambre, des canapés à ne plus savoir quoi en faire et une salle de jeu complète, tout cela a sû compensé le temps mitigé de notre week-end !

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the old farmhouse. We were four families with seven children under seven and found the house size and space perfect for our needs. Phil and Jenny gave us some great tips for outings which all worked really well, the lake and bouncy castle park, Kingoland and Josselin were all great and we sat tripped to Carnac also. The house and kitchen are well equipped and there was plenty of space for the children to play inside and out, the games room went down very well. The staircases are quite steep but the children managed them fine after instruction (we didn’t have tiny toddlers with us). The pool was a bit chilly but did improve as the weather warmed up. Jenny’s massages were a wonderful addition. We had an amazing holiday and the property worked really well for us. Thank you

Accueil sympathique et gîte très agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Phil et Jenny. Ils nous ont réservé un accueil très agréable à notre arrivée. Au maximum nous étions 14 adultes et 4 enfants en bas âge, la maison est vraiment très spacieuse et permet de ne pas se marcher sur les pieds. La literie est de bonne qualité. La météo ne nous a pas permis de tester la piscine mais le jacuzzi a été très apprécié. Une bonne adresse à recommander.

La maison est magnifique, avec 6 chambres avec salle de bain. Extérieur super, avec piscine et jacuzzi. Propriétaire au top, très sympa. Très bon moments passés, à refaire.

Location conforme au descriptif, 2 nuits passées entre copains, bon petit we les propriétaires sont à l'écoutes, discrets et très gentils. Nous avons passé un bon moment. La prestation de soins est à faire!! et super jacuzzi :)

The Old Farmhouse is a truly lovely place to spend a holiday. There were 12 of us from Kent, none of us young, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the house and its facilities such as all 6 en Suite bedrooms, lovely dining area and bar, lounge, and kitchen. The WiFi and games area are also lovely. The pool though chilly was clean and needed as was the hot tub. The Brittany area is worth visiting, a great landscape. Finally, we have to mention the owners, Phil and Jenny, a really lovely couple. They were always on hand if needed, cleaned the pool etc daily, friendly, chatty , offered advice and even joined us one evening. A hearty big thank you to them, they have a truly lovely place.

We had a lovely holiday at The Old Farmhouse. The layout of the house works well for multiple families and there is plenty of space to play outside and inside with the games room, bar area, gardens and paddocks. The house is well equipped- we found it easy to eat in and enjoyed making use of the BBQ when the weather allowed! Unfortunately the very British weather meant the pool was very cold and with children ranging from 18 months to 6 years old we didn’t manage to use it as much as we would like. The adults made good use of the hot tub but were a little confused about whether the kids could use it as it said no under 14s but in the guest book others had referenced children using it. Finally the WiFi was poor- I think this could be marketed more clearly as it states WiFi but in today’s world where the children and adults rely on it, it would be good to have full access to the internet rather than just in the games room which wasn’t always practical. As I’ve mentioned this could just be made clearer upon booking. All in all a nice property that might benefit from pool heating and WiFi to encourage future visits.

The Old Farmhouse was our venue for a superb 10 day extended family holiday. Hosts Phil and Jenny were warm, welcoming and informative, attentive but not intrusive. The accommodation is outstanding, 6 large bedrooms all ensuite which allows privacy when required, three large communal areas kitchen, lounge and bar/dining area which comfortably seat a large number of people when eating or socialising. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, plus there are plenty of fridges and a freezer in the kitchen and bar area, which easily cope with the demands of a large family/group. The standard of cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding, with excellent attention to detail. The outside area has a very pleasant pool and hot tub area - fenced and locked so safe for children of all ages, 2 spacious patios ideal for a BBQ and beautifully tended gardens - again, fenced all round so very safe. The Games room provides ample entertainment for everyone in the unlikely event of rain. Wifi available if required. The local area is interesting, Josselin is a town worth visiting more than once for a stroll or to eat. Ploermel has an Activity lake with plenty going on. Carnac is slightly further away but well worth a day out to visit the Megaliths and enjoy a meal at nthe seaside town of Trinite-sur-Mer. A superb holiday was had by all, everyone thought the accommodation was great value for money.

Passé un très bon weekend entre amis chez Philip et Jenny. Une maison agréable, propre, spacieuse et bien équipé. 6 chambres avec salle de bain, le top! Une cuisine bien équipé, un bar chaleureux! Et la cerise sur le gâteau, c'était le jacuzzi, juste génial, dommage nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, nous sommes au mois d'octobre quand même et en Bretagne!! A beautiful old farm house in a stunning location. Fantastic amenities from the ensuite rooms to the swimming pool and hot tub. The best part of my stay though was undoubtedly the friendliness and hospitality of Jenny and Phil. I would return to stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent space and very well equipped

We were a large group of people (13) and The Old Farmhouse was just amazing. Every room has an en suite bathroom, there is loads of space if you want down time. Outside the pool and hot tub were lovely and kept the children amused for ages. There was also bikes to use and a games room. Jenny and Phil were wonderful hosts very helpful and easy to talk to and give advice on places to go and things to do!!! Can't wait to go back again!!! Throughly recommended!!!

We were three families (6 adults) and currently have a total of 4 small children. The house in rural Brittany around a 5-minute drive to Mohon and about a 20-minute drive to the nearest ‘larger’ town. There is a near neighbor across the fence from the pool. The house is very large & the six rooms are split into three lots of two. This meant our small children could be far enough away from each other not to wake each other, and also gave us our own space. The communal spaces were very large, certainly for a party of our size, and could easily accommodate a few more. The house and garden are both very well equipped. We cooked and ate nearly all our meals in the house and didn’t come across anything we could have done with or had missed from home. The house is in good order, the beds are comfortable and the lounge, games room and bar are all great. Notes of caution Firstly, on arrival we were asked for £300 security deposit – this is to be expected from a holiday let, but it would have been helpful to have this clearer on the website or to have been reminded as part of the booking process. There is no ‘damages policy’ and so we were left unsure what would count as reasonable wear and tear and what might be charged for. Secondly, we had issues with the hot tub, despite its size only four people can use it at once for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. Whilst we don’t own one ourselves, I’m assured this is unusual. Ideas of spending long evenings drinking cocktails in the hot tub were short lived. Having misunderstood the guidance on the first night, we felt sufficiently ‘warned’ by Jenny and Phil over the next couple of days that we stopped using it, feeling the joy had been slightly sucked from the experience. Thirdly it’s worth noting that the pool is lined rather than tiled and not heated and so it can be very cold. We visited in August and although we had some bad weather its temperature, even on hot sunny days, meant we rarely used the pool. Finally, don’t underestimate the impact of having Jenny and Phil on site. Whilst they were nice and did largely keep out the way, they would clean the pool and hot tub themselves, usually between 9 and 10 am. We all agreed that we felt like we had ‘mum and dad’ living next door, and were, perhaps, less able to let our hair down than we would have liked. We had a lovely time in this house and it does have a lot to offer, so provided you’re careful with the things above it makes a good destination.

Fabulous house, clean and very well equipped. Games room great with young guests, weather lovely when we stayed so full use was made of the hot tub, unfortunately pool still a little cold although there were a few dips in it. Toddlers well catered for with little cars and trike its a great house to stay in with a group, only prob was that it is not near restaurants but there were 14 of us so able to entertain ourselves with a bbq, full use of the bar which has wine/beer fridges and also pool table. The bonus was each room has it's own bathroom a real plus. Couldn't recommend highly enough and hope to make a return visit sometime.
