It is a absolutely beautiful location. The back of the house with the beautiful sound and inlet view is peaceful, relaxing and quiet. You would never know you were in the heart of Manteo. My son was getting married at the Roanoke Island Festival Park and this was the perfect home to rent--so close and convenient. The inside is decorated to perfection and is comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. A definite place to consider when renting.

Driveway is a little tight especially with a larger vehicle. However, it should not keep anyone from renting. There is some parking out front.

The location is terrific for getting to downtown Manteo--just a block or so away. The house has a lot of character and was very clean. The fridge was well stocked with water, creamers and other items. The coffee was abundant and delicious.

There are not pots for boiling pasta except for one very large one, so additional cookware would be nice. The weather didn't cooperate but that's out of anyone's control--we still enjoyed ourselves in spite of the rain and gale force winds. Just sorry we couldn't sit on the porch or patio and enjoy the view-
