The apartment was excellent, spacious and had everything we needed or our stay. The location was perfect it was close enough to walk to everything you want to see in Edinburgh.

I cant think of anything which could have made this stay better.

Ideally placed in new town

Bathroom drains not working. Broken baseboard leading to bug access in bedroom. Electrical not up to par. 3 of us had hair tools that no longer work. Sonder blames us for the problem

Excellent location and comfortable stay! Christina at reception was super helpful in orienting us to the property and to the city. Spacious living area with comfortable seating for four. Kitchen seemed well equipped for cooking, but we didn't cook. Dishwasher and Laundry in the unit with detergent pods provided. Our unit was on the top floor and had a gorgeous view from the terrace. Beautiful sunsets! Walkable to transit, sights of interest and dining. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean and sunny.

USB outlets next to the beds would have been great for phone charging.

Very nice flat in central New Town of Edinburgh. Tram and buses right outside, but also entirely walkable to key locations including Princes Street and the Royal Mile.

The washing machine was broken and we had trouble with dishwasher, but a repair person was sent quickly to fix the dishwasher. It would be nice to have a brochure in the flat that details how to use the appliances, thermostat, etc.

I booked a 7 night stay and checked out after the first night. The unit looks nothing like the pictures, it’s filthy, I had allergy attacks from all the dust, the ceiling is shockingly low, and there’s absolutely no light in the unit. I tried contacting Sonder and never got a response.

We originally had a two bedroom unit, however that first day we had no hot water or heating due to an electrical issue. Abby at the front desk moved us to two separate efficiency studios which was just fine and appreciated as the issue would not be fixed for several days. We were thankful we did not have to move to another hotel and we thank Abby for that. We also found lots of restaurants and cafes in the area and were able to walk to everything!

Espaço e limpeza

A large and really well speced appartment. Easy to walk to from Waverley Station. Excellent location to walk to city centre, transport stops and Stockbridge/Dean Village. Fully equipped, comfortably furnished. Everything worked as expected. TV had Chromecast. Great garden views from all large windows.

When Sonder takes over the booking process, it can become somewhat uncomfortable. It is just the way they do business. They request a lot of personal information, including photo ID over the internet, and send persistent and unsettling reminders if you don't provide it. If you resist supplying this personal data and arrive during staffed hours, then it proves unnecessary. Friendly desk staff had no difficulty completing our check-in.

The room was spacious, amenities were plentiful and the beds were comfortable. It was really nice to have the various coffee makers, and great toaster. Plenty of room for the small fridge and microwave/oven combo a great idea for a short stay. Staff were extremely friendly (Abbey from Vancouver - super helpful!) and location fabulous

The walls are quite marked with scuffs of luggage and there were some holes in walls where door handles would hit the wall. The hall way leading to our room - 304 - was quite scuffed and appeared “unkept. Likewise, there were many tiles in the secondary entry that were missing giving the appearance that is was not maintained. I have stayed in many hotels and air Bnb’s - and I do believe the the appearance of the corridors and public areas need to be maintained - even for safety (missing tiles lead to trip hazards). I also would have like to have known that the windows at street level were “opaqued” so one could not look out. I understand that this was done for privacy for the guest, but when I was booking I would have liked to have known this as I would have chosen a room where I could have natural light that was unobstructed.

Nous pensions naïvement avoir réservé un hôtel "classique" avec une réception constamment présente, un entretien quotidien et, surtout, au moins une fenêtre dans la chambre. Première surprise quand nous avons été contacté pour transmettre en ligne nos pièces d'identité (+ demande CB) par un organisme extérieur à Booking. Deuxième surprise à la relecture de fond en comble du détail de la réservation où nous nous sommes effectivement rendus compte, à la toute fin de la description, que notre logement n'avait pas de fenêtre et que, outre une réception présente jusqu'à 18hrs, toute demande était dématérialisée. Nous pensions avoir réservé un hôtel et non un appartement sans fenêtre et sans "éco-système".

We were assigned a ground floor room next to some constantly working machines (air-conditioning?) situated outside, in the garden. They did not look nice (booked a garden view), were quite noisy and the people visiting the garden could peek into our apartment. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception anymore, so we could not ask for a room swap. That was an annoyance as we stayed there for 9 nights. For noise-sensitive people garden side is worth booking though, as the hotel is situated at a quite busy road.

Few kitchen utensils not there ( like bowls, cutting board big non stick pan ) also ,microwave . No window in the apartment was a bit strange.

Plenty of space, lots of light, quiet, proximity to city, Earnie’s, and shops. Helpful staff and access to extra supplies of essentials.

we rent the one-bedroom apartment. the room is very nice, clean and quite huge which has one bedroom, one bathroom and one living area connected with kitchen. the apartment provides everything in the room that making our stay really comfortable. we really appreciated to stay here and will choose Sonder again for our next trip in Edinburgh.

Very satisfied But this is heating. It hasn’t been activated for two days. It‘s super cold to sleep at night. This kind of hotel apartment has managers here to make people feel that you are going home. It doesn‘t feel like no one is managing it. It seems that it is aimless and the heart is very unreassy.

The heating failed to warm the room.

Amplitud, equipamiento, ubicación

I liked the location. It was right off the airport tram stop, making it very easy for a non-seasoned traveler. It was about a 15 min walk to EVERYTHING. The castle, the royal mile, Dean Village, and Stockton.The kitchen was delightful with everything needed to cook meals. I appreciated all the caffeine options - much needed when I had jet lag. The bathroom was clean and bright. The shower and linens were devine. I did some birdwatching in the courtyard, which was equipped with picnic benches and had access to Queen's Street Gardens.

The carpet was stained in the bedroom, it kind.of.gave me an ick feelingThe living room sofa wasn't particularly comfortable, and the bulbs were dim. I would have liked a top sheet, too. I would have loved the code from the courtyard to Queens St Garden. We got stuck in there and had to beg a resident to let us out.

Location brilliant, walkable to most things. Plenty of space, comfy bed. Luggage storage easy.

El apartamento no ofrecía limpieza de habitación ni desayuno. Sin embargo, cuenta con todo lo necesario para prepararse un café o un té al llegar. En nuestro caso resultó muy práctico.

Quizá algún producto de limpieza, escoba y bayeta en el apartamento para poder hacer el mantenimiento de la limpieza en una estancia corta.

房间非常舒适！也挺大，厨房设施非常齐全，连洗衣球都有，可以煮饭洗衣服。 位于新城，离Waverley Station步行距离10分钟，5分钟路程有Sainsbury's超市，中西餐厅，离旧城也不远。 这是我们这次两周英国之旅最满意的酒店。

唯一缺点就是大厅的灯光太黑，加两支白光灯就完美了。
