We had a great time and the house was everything we had hoped for. Private yet close to everything. Awesome view of the mountains and the pool was very refreshing and clean.

Okay. First things first. That photo you're looking at, with the crazy pool and the mountains in the background? That's the Hummingbird Villa's large, beautiful pool (and hot tub) and the actual view, which is Zion National Park. Not shown: the dozens of hummingbirds, mule deer, and friendly little lizards we saw every day there during our stay.
Anyhow, this place is exactly the terrific creature comforts counterpart you want to a rugged trip to Zion. The park itself is crazy close (it's literally a ~10 minute walk to the Visitor Center entrance, which happens to be next to a great brewpub), and the rest of Springdale's restaurants and shops are all within very easy reach.
But you want to hear about the house itself. So! Huge master bedroom + bath. 3 other very comfortable bedrooms. Robust AC. Lots of hot water. Big smart TV in the living room. Modern and well-appointed kitchen. Crazy views. You're a 10-minute walk from Zion, and a 2-hour drive to Bryce. Ample parking, if you're in a group with more than 1 car. Just off the main road, so convenient but still very private.
So glad we stayed here.

We had a wonderful time!! Everyone enjoyed themselves and the close proximity to Zion and Springdale. We loved hiking in the morning and relaxing at the pool in the afternoons.

Perfect location!
This property was conveniently located right outside of Zion visitor center. We walked there daily. The shuttle made it easy to go into town since parking was hard to find in town. The house was clean and spacious and had several areas for tv, games and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside. The space was perfect lounging or watching sunsets. Great views!

Best vacation
My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult daughters and their significant others. The house could not have fit our needs any better. The rooms were comfortable and clean. But, the best part was the large dining table over the counter from the open kitchen. We had our “Big Chill” dinner preps going, sometimes grilling. No, the best part was the very short walking distance to the entrance of the park - easy shuttles, hardly any wait time. Wait, the best part was relaxing on the patio after a hike with the gorgeous view of mountains in the distance, while some of us went and soaked in the small river behind the property. Oh, I forgot another ‘best’ was on the same patio at night, watching the expanse of the stars in the sky. However, the very best part of our week was being with family in a lovely home where we felt at home.

Excellent location
I can’t say enough about this rental. The house was fantastic, the location is incredible, the views are awesome. The hosts were generous. I would give it 6 stars if I could. It was, hands down, the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was worth every penny. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Zion.

Amazing
This property was exactly as advertised. It’s clean centrally located and the views are spectacular. We were able to walk everywhere and the kids played in the river that runs along side the property. There’s a huge yard and like the name, hummingbirds everywhere! Everyone had a great time

Hummingbird Villa was perfect for our family!
We all had a great time at Zion and the Hummingbird Villa was the perfect beginning and ending to every day. The property had everything we needed and is perfectly located just outside of the park entrance. Bonus was the local deer neighbors. Would most definitely love to come back (maybe when it’s a little cooler) 😊

Our extended family of six adults and four kids under nine all loved this property! Walk to Zion, plenty of room to be together, and if you wanted, some alone time. This was our second time staying here, and I am sure it won’t be our last!

perfect for large families
this was our first time visiting Zion our trip consisted of elderly parents and small children, the home was perfect because we were able to enjoy the enclosed yard we BBQ, played a family game of volley ball, corn hole and even attempted to fly a kite. the views from the sitting area were amazing. plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen easy to cook for a large family. beds were all comfortable. air conditioning worked great. plenty of parking. short walk to park entrance and shopping areas. i would definitley recommend to my friends and family

A treasure!
This property is nothing but wonderful! I've stayed at many short-term rentals and this is probably my favorite. The house itself is amazing. It has everything you could want and so much more. Let me just say that there are motion sensor night lights in the ceiling! It's these kinds of details that make this property so special. The location can't be beat. Sitting in the backyard is so beautiful and relaxing. You will not want to leave. Its a short walk to the park entrance and great restaurants. The diversity of the neighborhood just added to our experience. Our son and our dog both got to meet cows for the first time! We all can't wait to go back. Next time with friends though, because the house is huge.

Stunning!
If I could give out 10 stars I would. Everything was perfect. The property was stunning, the location was less than a 10 minute walk to Zion Entrance. The kitchen was better equipped than most other property rentals we have used. Great communication and easy check-in process. Coffee looking at the mountains, listening to the Virgin River gurgle down below. I didn't want to leave!

Zion Haven
My family and 2 dogs LOVED the hummingbird villa, the pictures don’t give proper justice to this magnificent property. The location is amazing, there was more than adequate space for the 5 of us and our dogs to spread out and have quiet time if needed. The Zion backdrop in the yard is breathtaking. Great communication with Erin, we will definitely be coming back!

A fabulous stay
This property was perfect for our family reunion, and we will definitely plan to stay again. It was the second time we used the property for a family gathering. The owner was most accommodating and was quick to reply to questions. The owner allowed for a pet family member to join in, a fabulous bonus. One of us was in a wheel chair and was able to enjoy the stay as well.
This visit was during a cold spell, and we wished the fireplace would have had more of a flame - mostly for the ambiance, as the house was plenty warm. Perhaps it had not yet been turned up for the winter. The only less-than-perfect comment is that the water wasn't as hot for showers or washing dishes as we would have liked. We were all water-aware in the desert, and may have not waited long enough. It really wasn't a problem, and the owner did have signs explaining about the process for hot water. It did not lessen our wonderful stay!

A great 60th birthday celebration
We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday here along with our 6 adult children. The accommodations were excellent, and the proximity to the park entrance was perfect. The house was very spacious and everything we needed was provided as stated. The views from the backyard were fabulous, we began each morning outside drinking coffee taking in the wonderful scenery. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house in the perfect location for Zion!
The house was just as shown/described - big and beautiful! Easy walk in and out of Zion and the brewery, outfitter, etc at the visitor center (as well as to other outfitters/restaurants in town.) It was perfect for our group and nicely set up for multiple couples/families, with gorgeous views.

This was a relaxing visit for me and my family. Great view of the mountains, high quality beds, linens, sheets and towels. Kitchen fully furnished with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Alison was extremely responsive and helpful.

Location, seclusion,and comfort.
Hummingbird was an oasis in Zion, the pictures, though stunning, don't quite do it justice. The afternoon view from the back deck, the proximity to the park, 5 min walk, to the park entrance, and the space in the house: places for all eight to be together and places time and talk throughout the house. The landscaping in the backyard makes for a feeling of privacy that was unexpected so close to everything in town. Thank you, Alison.

Best Way to See Zion
This property was fantastic. We were a family group of 7 & what a terrific venue. The location is perfect for walking into Zion & using the shuttle buses or grabbing a meal nearby. The house is very comfortable w/ a large kitchen area, plenty of very comfortable beds, & gorgeous views from the deck. It's also very quiet and secluded after a day of hiking. And access to Cliff Rose hot tub was just what we needed. Zion is a family favorite & so now is this Villa. Five Stars!

Location, location, location
It is a very short and easy walk into the south entrance of Zion from the house. We were a group of six adults with one vehicle so this allowed us to do different things in the park if we wanted to. We walked into the park and jumped on the shuttle. We did a lot of hiking, some went biking, etc. The backyard with a view of Zion, a grill, and ample seating, was our usual dinner venue. Sol Food market, close by, is a very handy place for groceries and a lot of other items. The location allowed us to enjoy Zion and not get wrapped up in the logistics.

This is a super location and great house. It's hard to be too positive without sounding over the top. It's about a 5' walk into the entrance of Zion National Park; and about a 8' walk into the downtown area of Springdale. The house is in super condition, there's space to relax and entertain.

Stunningly beautiful home that was perfect for our family gathering. There was more than enough space for everyone (6 adults and 2 children), and the on suite bathrooms to the bedrooms was great. Short walk to the park entrance meant we never had to hassle with the shuttles to/from the park. Will definitely stay here again!

Two families stayed for four nights - we had an amazing time. So much better than a hotel or camping. House has plenty of room for the kids to have their space, indoors and out. Having a kitchen and BBQ let us cook in and relax after spending our days hiking Zion.

Nice place, close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay, everything was very clean and there is plenty of room. It is just as spacious and nice as shown in the pictures and we felt very secure because it is at the end of a private lane.

Great location but not the cleanest and several required functions weren’t working properly
The Good:
1. Great location within walking distance to almost everything one might need in Springdale.
2. House layout is a bit strange but the rooms are spacious and has all the amenities one would need, and some you might not expect like a coffee bean grinder, waffle maker, etc. Nice working outdoor grill.
The Not so Good:
1. This was a biggie: the water pressure and hot water in the master bathroom were both nonexistent. That was a bummer after a long day of hiking. Really brought things down a bit.
2. The TV in the master bedroom and master sitting room weren’t functioning properly.
3. The house wasn’t so clean upon our arrival.
The location and number of bedrooms are the key selling points. It would be a decent value if they tended to the deferred maintenance items.
