So close to main attractions, Sally Lunns, the Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths. Communication was great, Lots of stairs! Made it a little difficult for my elderly mother. Well stocked kitchen with dishes etc. Once the radiators kicked in the place was cozy. The pub across from the flat got a bit noisy late at night. The worst noise probably came from the seagulls that are everywhere! Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect

Bath centre is on your door step, which was such a bonus. Bedrooms were certainly clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice open living space. Parking permit was also much appreciated. Thank you!
However, there are some areas for improvement and I hope this is constructive.
- Loose door handles (bathroom and living room).
- We paid £ for an extra person to sleep, however there wasn’t a chair for them to sit at the dinner table which we think would be a nice touch given the additional cost.
- No bath mat, resulting in wet floor which 7 people added to each time they showered.
- No cleaning products to wipe down surfaces, no hand soap in the bathroom.
- Kitchen not equipped for 7 person cooking, one small frying pan etc.
- Carpet wear and tear.
We would absolutely stay again, just perhaps in a smaller group (5).

Where do I start:
From the get go the host was not accommodating at all. She told me that 2 days and 1 day before arrival day I would get a set of instructions on how to check in… this did not happen. I had to call Vrbo themselves for them to reach her for her to tell them that she won’t be telling me until the day of arrival on how to check in but she wanted damage deposit first. She rudely told me it’s nothing to be stressed about but for me it was because I was travelling 4hrs to get there hoping that I would be able to actually get in the place.
When we got there we did not have a working shower for the weekend. I contacted the host about this and got no response until check out day where she totally disregarded my messages and replied ‘take out the trash and she hoped the dishes were clean and put away.’ Surely this comes under the ‘cleaning fee.’
This meant 8 girls had to go and pay to have a shower for the weekend and got left with a lovely goodbye message from the host…(not)
There was not enough toilet role for 8 people and I’m glad we took our own towels because the one provided were all covered in makeup even though there are signs everywhere stating what will be charged for a ‘damage deposit’ this being one of them. Clearly doesn’t care about quality.
The oven and dishwasher were disgusting. I wouldn’t even clean or cook my dogs meals in either. Door handles were broken, no cooking trays to cook anything on and some of the plates and forks were dirty.
On top of that no one could get hold of the host to rectify all of this not even Vrbo themselves. Took me to send this review to them to get a response. A week later the host manager contact me to sort the issues out but the weekend had past and the damage was already done. Out of ‘Good will’ I got a small refund for the troubles that were caused.
If the property had a different host who actually cares about the people staying in the property it would have been a great weekend. This property is not worth the money paid. Avoid at all cost if you want value for money and a nice host.

The property was immaculate. Plenty of room for eight without being on top of each other. It was a short walk to everything, spa, shops and restaurants. The flat is lovely, clean and homey. Everything you could ask for when having a weekend break. 🙂🙂

This is in the best possible spot, close to all the tourist attractions. It felt like a home, very well done up. Initially i stupidly booked this for 1 person in error, and although it took longer than id hoped to sort (a good few weeks) she very helpfully rectfied my error.
She was very friendly and came back very quickly with all the questions i had on the day.
What let it all down was we booked this for the weekend before covid19 really started to ramp up. We got there, a little cautious and wanting to wish our hands as much as we possibly could but found there to be no hand wash. I emailed her, she responded very quickly apologising saying she'd pop in the followjng day and sadly did not.
This was a really great stay for the 7 of us, but especially over this period of uncertainty, it just came across very inconsiderate and thoughtless.
A great stay but a sadly thoughtless host.
