Great location, within walking distance to food and drink options! Place feels like your out in the woods. Very peaceful. The fenced in yard was great for our 2 small dogs to hang out in while we sat out and talked. Host was super responsive. We liked this place and would love to come back!

Quiet neighborhood near forest land. Perfect for walking the dogs. The host was very nice, she even left an umbrella out for us at the gate, when a rainstorm hit. There is a camera situated on a tree that faces the little sitting area which makes it uncomfortable to want to sit and enjoy your morning coffee without feeling like you are being watched. All in all it was a perfect studio cottage for us and our dogs for a weekend getaway.

A quaint cute very clean and nicely appointed unit with an excellent host. We would look for something bigger next time. Very economically priced.

Ideal cabin for 2 people rent. At the end of dead end street nice and private from public. Cabin is clean updated and nice. We would stay again for sure.

Jodi was a very kind Lady . We could sleep with the windows open and cool nights . The Casino was 10 minutes away hit the penny jackpot $60 And Hawley Lake at the Apache reservation was Great

This cottage is tucked off the main street, but walking distance to coffee shop, restaurant, ect. It was very relaxing , quiet. Bathroom looks like it was just remodeled, very nice condition along with heating lights that were very much appreciated on the damp rainy days. TV works good, no problems there! Nice place to stay and I would stay there again! The only upgrade I would suggest to the owner is updating the pillows, sheets, and bedspread!!

The cabin was even more perfect than it looked online. The cabin was well stocked - coffee cups, coffee, tea, towels, plates, bowls, DVDs, and air freshener. The place was spotless and Jodi was so great in telling us exactly what we needed to check in. Her MIL helped us with the only issue we had - we couldn't figure out how to start the DVD player. They also have fresh eggs which were fantastic. The neighbors were friendly and the woods are just past the end of the dead end street for walks. There is a market within walking distance too. We will definitely be coming here again. It was a fantastic vacation.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for 4th of July weekend with our 2 dogs. The cottage is very comfortable, shower and bathroom are nicely updated. We had a great stay and will return.. Only one suggestion I can make is an EV charger would make the stay even more perfect. We found one at the Quality Inn and charged our car there .

I stayed here for a three-day weekend and was very pleased. It is clean, quiet, and very comfortable; perfect for a single adult or couple.

The property is very cute and is right next to the national forest with hiking trails. Our dog got to play with their dogs

My husband and i came into town for a wedding and this little cottage was perfect. We will defiantly be coming back. The owners were super friendly 😀

Spent a few nights in August here. A great place for my pets and me. Beautiful enclosed yard so I could just let my dog out without a leash was much appreciated at 1 AM when my elderly dog needed to go out. It rained all 1 day and staying in was made easier by Netflix that worked well. Host was on site, helpful and had well mannered children that didn't bother me at all.

It was very clean and cozy! Beautiful view of the tall Pines out the window.

I would highly recommend this cute cottage to anyone because: 1. Very pet or child friendly 2. Hiking trails behind the house 3. Very nice family that is very accommodating to your needs 4. Can't beat the price for this little gem!

All was very good- a little problem with the TV- fire stick did not work but Charles helped us. I would have liked to have local channels to know what is going on in the town we are visiting and be able to get the news. A radio would have been nice too.

Great time at this cost cottage! Perfect location, near restaurants and shops and also a couple houses away from the forest and trail head. Dogs loved the other dogs and puppy and the big yard. Super quiet and kids of host were so lovely and friendly! Will stay here again for sure!

Cute tiny house, a bit rustic, owner was an awesome host, close to most amenities, two lakes within a 10 to 15min drive from each other lots to do, we would stay there again❤️👍

We loved our stay here! It’s in a great location- walking distance to great coffee and great food. It’s cozy and just steps from the national forest. I highly recommend for a cute little weekend getaway!

Unfortunately this property is very misrepresented in the initial listing for several reasons. Upon arrival we found ants crawling around the room. The first and only morning there we were woken up at 6 am by owner's dogs attacking the bedroom window, barking, scratching, for about 30 mins. The owner's children were screaming all day and the owner was constantly yelling at the kids, lots of noise from the main residence. There are childrens toys scattered all around, and it's not really very private. It says pet friendly, but not so much. The owner expects you to leave your fur babies in a back yard dirt floor kennel and this request is not relayed in the initial ad and there isn't any information sent to you prior to your check in describing how to check in or any other guidelines there are. I had to contact her directly upon arrival to find out how to get into the guest house. Had I been informed of this kennel requirement prior we would not have booked this listing. Our pups are very well behaved and we were not comfortable leaving them on the back of the property alone surrounded by screaming kids and barking dogs, not just on the property itself but there are several neighborhood dogs that bark constantly as well. The property owner doesn't remember documented conversations or correspondences (did not remember we were even bringing our dogs with us even though I specifically reached out with several questions prior regarding our dogs being there) and also admitting after the fact through text messages that she does need to adjust her ad to include expectations, guidelines, etc. We specifically chose this property because it was 'pet friendly' and have utilized Vrbo many times before and never had any issues, as a dog owner I am always very thorough and ask the right questions before I make a reservation. We paid a significant amount of money to have a birthday celebration weekend, literally stay here less then 24 hours and receive no type of refund despite the misrepresentation and uncomfortable experience. Policy leaves all of the control regarding refunds to the property owner and the owner refuses to refund any of our payment. Extremely disappointing experience. Be aware before you book !

I can’t say enough about how happy we were with our stay! The cottage was adorable with lots of friendly critters including a very loving cat, two sweet dogs and some beautiful hens and roosters. Jodi and Family were very inviting and accommodating with our large vehicle and trailer. It was located within walking distance of many restaurants and a national park with walking trail. 5+ raising!

My spouse and I stayed for the weekend and it was so nice and cozy. We were greeted right when we got there and the owners were super friendly. We would definitely go back!

Great location, walking trails right outside the casita. However, large barking dogs across the street, too many toys every where in the yard, noisy children in the main house

The room was beautiful - setup similar to a hotel room, and even though you’re right next to the owner’s house, once you’re inside it’s completely private just like a hotel. You’re right off the Main street where there are restaurants and shops within minutes, but you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods when you’re back at the house. It was easy to find, and the parking setup is great. The property manager was laid back and helpful in our communications, which almost made me feel like I was staying at a friend’s guest house for the weekend. This truly is a hidden gem, really well put together for guests to be comfortable. I hope to come back soon - highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax.
